BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a drive control system for a hybrid vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, hybrid vehicles using an engine such as an internal combustion engine and a motor such as an AC motor that rotates by electric power supplied from a power storage means such as a battery (secondary battery such as a storage battery) as a power source for the vehicle have been provided. . In the hybrid vehicle, the AC motor, which is the power source, functions as a generator when the vehicle is decelerating. When the so-called regenerative current is generated, the regenerative current is supplied to the battery during the deceleration operation of the vehicle. Supplied and the battery is recharged. Therefore, when the battery is constantly charged and the engine output alone does not satisfy the required output, etc., the current is automatically supplied from the battery to the motor via the inverter. The vehicle can travel stably in various travel modes. Further, the fuel consumed by the engine can be reduced.
[0003]
In order to reduce the fuel consumed by the engine as much as possible, a technique for setting an operation schedule of the engine and the motor so as to minimize the fuel consumption according to the road condition of the route to the destination is proposed. (For example, refer to Patent Documents 1 and 2.) In this case, the route to the destination is divided into a plurality of sections, road data and travel history are obtained from the navigation device to estimate the vehicle speed pattern for each section, the estimated vehicle speed pattern and the fuel consumption characteristics of the engine Based on this, the engine and motor operation schedules are set so that the fuel consumption to the destination is minimized.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional hybrid vehicle drive control system, the travel data for each road type and the travel data for each intersection, which are static elements, are acquired as a travel history from the navigation device. Therefore, it is impossible to predict a driving pattern that sufficiently reflects the driving characteristics of the driver on a road that repeatedly travels for commuting, attending school, and the like, and an appropriate driving schedule cannot be set. Therefore, the fuel consumption of the hybrid vehicle cannot be sufficiently reduced.
[0007]
The present invention solves the problems of the conventional hybrid vehicle drive control system, predicts a driving pattern that sufficiently reflects the driving characteristics of the driver, and can set an appropriate driving schedule. An object of the present invention is to provide a drive control system for a hybrid vehicle that can sufficiently reduce consumption.

In FIG. 1, reference numeral 12 denotes a navigation database in which navigation information is stored as data used for navigation processing in a normal navigation device such as map data, road data, and search data. Reference numeral 13 denotes road altitude and slope. (Trade) A
[0026]
The navigation database 12 includes a database composed of various data files. In addition to search data for searching for a route, the navigation database 12 displays a guide map along the searched route on the screen of the display unit. Map data to display characteristic photographs, frame diagrams, etc. at intersections or routes, distance to the next intersection, direction of travel at the next intersection, and other guidance information Record various data such as facility data. In the navigation database 12, various data for outputting predetermined information by the voice output unit is also recorded.
[0027]
Here, the search data includes intersection data, road data, traffic regulation data, and route display data. In the intersection data, in addition to the number of intersections in which data is stored, data relating to each intersection is assigned with a number for identification as intersection data. Further, each intersection data is stored with a number for identifying each connection road in addition to the number of roads connected to the corresponding intersection, that is, the number of connection roads. The intersection data may include the type of the intersection, that is, whether the intersection is a traffic signal lamp or an intersection where no traffic signal lamp is installed. .
[0028]
In addition to the number of roads in which the data is stored, the road data is stored with data relating to each road assigned with a number for identification as road data. Each road data stores a road type, a distance as a length of each road, a travel time as a time required for traveling on each road, and the like. Further, the road type includes administrative road attributes such as a national road, a prefectural road, a main local road, a general road, and an expressway.
[0029]
The road data includes the width, gradient, cant, altitude, bank, road surface condition, whether or not there is a median strip, the number of road lanes, the point where the number of lanes decreases, the width of the road data. It is desirable to include data such as narrowing points. In the case of an expressway or a main road, each of the lanes in the opposite direction is stored as separate road data and processed as a double road. For example, in the case of a trunk road with two or more lanes on one side, it is processed as a two-way road, and the upward lane and the downward lane are stored in the road data as independent roads. Further, for corners, it is desirable to include data such as radii of curvature, intersections, T-junctions, and corner entrances. Road attributes such as railroad crossings, expressway entrance / exit rampways, expressway toll gates, downhill roads, and uphill roads may also be included.
[0030]
The road gradient database 13 is calculated on the basis of elevation data such as contour lines published by the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan, mesh elevation data of 50 [m] mesh, and mesh elevation data of 10 [m] mesh. Stores altitude and gradient data at each node point. In addition, it is desirable that the data includes data on structures such as tunnels and bridges for which design data regarding altitude and slope, actual measurement data, and the like are available.
[0031]
The data stored in the navigation database 12 and the road gradient database 13 is stored in storage means such as a semiconductor memory or a magnetic disk. The storage means includes all forms of storage media such as magnetic tape, magnetic disk, magnetic drum, flash memory, CD-ROM, MD, DVD-ROM, optical disk, MO, IC card, optical card, memory card, etc. It is also possible to use a removable external storage medium.

Next, the basic concept of the travel pattern prediction process will be described.
[0036]
FIG. 3 is a diagram showing a concept of a running pattern in the embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a concept for analyzing the running pattern in the embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a diagram in the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of a running pattern, and FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of fluctuations in the running pattern in the embodiment of the present invention.
[0037]
In general, in a hybrid vehicle, vehicle travel control is performed so as to meet a real-time driver's request for driving operation and a request for power storage means. However, in general travel control of a hybrid vehicle, there are the following problems (1) to (8).
(1) In a travel pattern in which the vehicle immediately stops after acceleration or a travel pattern in which acceleration / deceleration is frequently performed, the engine is frequently turned on and off, resulting in poor travel efficiency.
(2) The engine may be operating even when the amount of power stored in the battery is large and the power required to drive the vehicle is small.
(3) The engine may be operating even when the energy required to drive the vehicle from start to stop is small.
(4) Even when the power required to drive the vehicle is low, such as during traffic jams or low-speed driving, the engine operates to generate current by the generator when the battery charge is low. Have
(5) Even when a regenerative current is generated during downhill or deceleration, regeneration may not be possible depending on the SOC management range of the battery.
(6) When the engine is operating when the energy required to run the vehicle is small as in steady running, the generator generates current, but depending on the SOC management range of the battery, It may not be possible to store electricity.
(7) The engine may be operating even during deceleration or just before stopping.
(8) In summer and the like, the engine may be operating to operate the air conditioner even when it is stopped.
[0038]
In order to solve such a problem, a road shape and a traveling pattern ahead in the route are predicted, a schedule for efficiently traveling on the route is set, and the
[0039]
In this case, the route that travels steadily is, for example, a fixed route that travels almost every day, such as a commuting route, but the frequency of travel does not have to be every day, and may be every other day. It may be about once a week or may not be regular and can be determined as appropriate. In addition, the time zone in which the route travels regularly may be substantially constant, for example, in the morning commute time zone, or may vary daily such as the return commute time zone. Also good. The length of the route that travels constantly may be as short as 2 to 3 [km] or as long as 100 [km], for example. It is assumed that the route that travels constantly is grasped as a separate route for the forward route and the return route.
[0040]
And, as shown in FIG. 3, the traveling pattern when traveling on the steady traveling route is influenced by the basic traveling portion as a substantially constant basic portion every time and the fluctuation factor, and each time the vehicle travels. It can be considered that it consists of a variable travel part as a part that fluctuates. In FIG. 3, the horizontal axis indicates the number of days, and the vertical axis indicates the time required for the steady traveling route.
[0041]
In this case, for example, weather, time zone, day of the week, settlement date, end of term, etc. can be considered as the fluctuation factors affecting the running pattern. In the case of the weather, generally, rainy weather has the effect of slowing the flow of traffic and increasing the required time even on the same route. In the case of the time zone, the commuting time zone in the morning and evening has the effect that the required time becomes longer due to traffic jams, and the required time becomes shorter in the middle of the night because the traffic volume is small. Further, in the case of a day of the week, there is an effect that the required time is shortened because the traffic volume is small on Sunday. The settlement date is a day such as fifty days or a miso day that is generally set as an accounting deadline for transactions in general, and the end of the term is generally a settlement period. It is a period such as the end of March or the end of the year. Furthermore, sudden traffic accidents, unexplained traffic jams, festivals, demonstrations, temporary closures due to firefighting, etc., road closures, etc. It can be considered as a fluctuation factor that causes accidental fluctuations and short-term fluctuations.
[0042]
In addition, the basic traveling unit may vary in the long run. For example, when the traffic volume in the region increases as a whole due to an increase in the population, the required time gradually increases. Further, when a road is newly established or amplified, it becomes a factor of step variation, and as shown in FIG. 3, the required time is shortened stepwise and continuously. As described above, the variation factor includes a short-term variation factor that causes the variation as the variation traveling unit and a long-term variation factor that varies the basic traveling unit.
[0043]
Since the variation factor is a kind of travel environment information, a travel pattern for traveling on the steady travel route is determined in advance based on the travel environment information stored in the travel environment
[0044]
In this case, the travel data and travel environment information acquired from the travel
[0045]
The travel environment information that is daily and has a small fluctuation corresponds to the basic travel as a basic pattern in the travel pattern when traveling on a steady travel route. Also, the driving environment information that is daily and relatively fluctuating corresponds to rain running, holidays running, etc. as special patterns in the driving pattern. Furthermore, the driving environment information as an extraordinary thing corresponds to the event day running as a special pattern in the driving pattern, and the driving environment information as a thing that continues for a short period or a long period of time is a short period or a long period. Corresponds to the basic driving after the period variation continues.
[0046]
In FIG. 5, a predetermined commute route is set as a route that travels steadily, and based on the results of measuring the required time for traveling the route over almost six weeks (42 days). The created travel pattern is shown. In FIG. 5, a thick line indicates basic running as a basic pattern in the running pattern. Also, ◆ indicates fluctuations corresponding to driving environment information that is daily and small fluctuation, and ■ corresponds to driving environment information that is daily and relatively large fluctuation. Indicates fluctuations, ▲ indicates fluctuations corresponding to driving environment information that is extraordinary and has a large fluctuation, ● indicates fluctuations corresponding to driving environment information as being short-term or long-term Yes.
[0047]
FIG. 6 shows a travel pattern created based on the result of measuring a change in speed when a predetermined commute route is set as a route that travels constantly and travels along the route. In FIG. 6, the solid line indicates a basic run as a basic pattern, the dotted line indicates a rain run as a special pattern, and the alternate long and short dash line indicates a holiday run as a special pattern.

In addition, if the travel to the destination is not the first time, that is, if it is the second time or later, the route to the destination is automatically set as a route that travels constantly without being searched. . In this case, the route to the destination is stored in advance in the storage means of the travel
[0053]
Then, assuming that the travel to the destination is the second time or later, when the route for steady travel is set, the travel pattern is subsequently analyzed. In this case, the travel

[0056]
As shown in FIG. 4, the correlation between the driving pattern and the driving environment information is performed by classifying the driving data and driving environment information for n days based on the frequency of occurrence, the magnitude of the fluctuation, the way of the fluctuation, and the like. Therefore, it is possible to predict a travel pattern corresponding to the travel environment information. In other words, the driving environment information that is daily and has a small fluctuation corresponds to the basic driving as a basic pattern in the driving pattern, and the driving environment information that is daily and has a relatively large fluctuation. The running on the event day as a special pattern in the running pattern corresponds, and the running environment information that lasts for a short period or for a long period corresponds to the basic running after the short-term or long-term fluctuation continues.
[0057]
Even in a conventional hybrid vehicle, a travel pattern is predicted based on road information, travel history, time, and the like acquired from a navigation device. However, in the conventional hybrid vehicle, it is not considered to predict a travel pattern on a route that travels constantly. Further, it does not take into consideration that the average traveling pattern in the route that travels constantly fluctuates with time or changes according to traveling environment information.
