【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、入金された紙幣を収納する一方、収納した紙幣を出金用として繰り出す還流式の紙幣入出金機に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、銀行等の金融機関では、入金する紙幣を一枚ずつ取り込むとともに、その取り込んだ紙幣の金種等を識別し振り分けて、金種別に設けられる一時貯留・収納繰出部の上部の一時貯留部にその入金が確定するまで一時貯留させるとともに、入金の確定後、その紙幣を一時貯留・収納繰出部の下部の収納繰出部に収納する一方、収納繰出部に収納した紙幣を、出金処理において出金用の紙幣として出金させる還流式の紙幣入出金機が用いられている。このような紙幣入出金機としては、既に特許第2756058号公報に開示されたもの等がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、この種の紙幣入出金機の従来のものにおいては、出金時に一時貯留・収納繰出部から繰り出された紙幣を判別部で最終確認するようになっており、この判別部で異常が検出された紙幣については、紙幣を繰り出し不可に収納させるリジェクト収納部にすべて収納するようになっている。このような出金時に異常と判別される紙幣は、斜行および重送の搬送異常紙幣と、判別不能紙幣とであるが、これら紙幣はいずれも、入金時等に一旦識別部で真券と識別されてから一時貯留・収納繰出部に収納されているものであり、偽券である可能性はなく、よって、判別不能紙幣も何らかの理由で判別部による判別ができなかった真券である。しかしながら、このような紙幣を繰り出し不可に収納させるリジェクト収納部にすべて収納させてしまうと、リジェクト収納部が早期に満杯となってしまい、この満杯状態を解除するために、リジェクト収納部から紙幣を取り出すための装置停止を頻繁に行うことになり、運用上不利になってしまうという問題があった。

したがって、本発明は、紙幣を繰り出し不可に収納させるリジェクト収納部に収納させる紙幣を極力減らすことにより、このリジェクト収納部が満杯になることに起因する装置停止の発生回数を抑えることができる紙幣入出金機の提供を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明の請求項1記載の紙幣入出金機は、紙幣入金口から繰り出される紙幣の識別を行う識別部と、該識別部の識別結果に基づき分類された紙幣を一時貯留させるとともに一時貯留させた紙幣を収納しさらに収納した紙幣を最下のものから繰り出し可能な複数の金種別の一時貯留・収納繰出部と、これら金種別の一時貯留・収納繰出部から繰り出された紙幣の判別を行う判別部とを有するものであって、金種別の前記一時貯留・収納繰出部から繰り出された紙幣のうち、前記判別部で搬送異常と判別された紙幣を、紙幣を繰り出し不可に収納させるリジェクト収納部に収納する一方、前記判別部で判別不能と判別された紙幣を、そのまま前記識別部で識別し、該識別結果に応じた対応金種の前記一時貯留・収納繰出部に収納させることを特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の紙幣入出金機の参考技術である貨幣入出金機を図面を参照して以下に説明する。なお、図2〜図15における下側が、操作を行うオペレータ側すなわち前方(正面側)を示す。また、以下における「前」はオペレータ側、「後」はオペレータに対し反対側であり、左右は、オペレータ側から見たときの左右である。

この貨幣入出金機は、銀行等の金融機関のテラーカウンタの下側に配置され、左右の二人のテラー等のオペレータに共用で用いられるもので、図1に示すように、紙幣の入金、収納、回収および出金等、紙幣に関する各処理を行う紙幣入出金部11と、硬貨の入金、収納、回収および出金等、硬貨に関する各処理を行う硬貨入出金部12とが一体的に設けられたものである。

紙幣入出金部11の硬貨入出金部12よりも正面側に突出する部分の上面には、その最も正面側の左右方向の中央に、紙幣入出金部11の内部から紙幣が送り出される紙幣出金口20が設けられるとともに、この紙幣出金口20の後に、入金する紙幣がオペレータによりセットされる紙幣入金口21が設けられている。なお、紙幣出金口20には、これを開閉するシャッタ22が設けられている。ここで、紙幣入出金部11のこれら紙幣出金口20および紙幣入金口21と隣り合う側方位置には、硬貨入出金部12の一部である硬貨一括金庫23が設けられている。この硬貨一括金庫23は硬貨を収納するもので、機体10に対し着脱可能とされており、この硬貨一括金庫23の正面側には、これを機体10に対しロックおよびロック解除する取出キー23aが設けられている。また、紙幣入出金部11の下部正面には電源スイッチ27が設けられている。

図2に示すように、紙幣入出金部11は、主として紙幣入金口21から取り込まれた紙幣、あるいは紙幣出金口20に向け出金させられる紙幣を搬送する上層ユニット24と、入金され上層ユニット24で搬送された紙幣を入金確定前に金種別に一時貯留させる中層ユニット25と、中層ユニット25に一時貯留させた紙幣を入金確定後に収納する一方、収納した紙幣を出金用として繰り出す下層ユニット26とを有しており、これら上層ユニット24、中層ユニット25および下層ユニット26は、それぞれ個別に貨幣入出金機の機体10から正面側に引き出し可能とされている。

〔上層ユニット〕
上層ユニット24は、入金処理時において入金紙幣がセットされ該セットされた入金紙幣を一枚ずつ機内に取り込む上記した紙幣入金口21と、入金処理時等における識別不能なリジェクト紙幣が繰り出されるとともに、出金処理時において機内から出金紙幣が繰り出される上記した紙幣出金口20と、この紙幣出金口20を開閉する上記したシャッタ22と、入金紙幣を必要な場所に搬送するとともに出金紙幣を必要に応じた場所に搬送する搬送路28と、この搬送路28の搬送途中に設けられ、入金処理時等において紙幣入金口21から繰り出され搬送路28で搬送される紙幣の真偽、金種、正損、重送および斜行の識別を行う識別部29とを有している。なお、搬送路28の途中には、識別部29の識別結果から紙幣の表裏を判断し、紙幣の表裏を取り揃えるために必要により紙幣の表裏を反転させる表裏反転部30が設けられている。

〔中層ユニット〕
中層ユニット25には、上層ユニット24の搬送路28にそれぞれつながりこの搬送路28から振り分けられた入金紙幣を取り入れる各紙幣取入部32が設けられており、また、これら紙幣取入部32のそれぞれの前側に、入金紙幣を、その取り引きが確定するまで一時貯留させる複数具体的には三つの同形状の一時貯留部33a,33b,33cが、左右方向および高さ方向の位置を互いに合わせた状態で前後方向に位置をずらして直線状に配列されている。ここで、これら三つの一時貯留部33a〜33cは、紙幣取入部32側からは紙幣の送り込みのみが可能となっており、紙幣取入部32側への紙幣の繰り出しは不可となっている。なお、これら一時貯留部33a〜33cに一時貯留された紙幣を入金確定せずに返却する場合、中層ユニット25を機体10から引き出すことによって、これら一時貯留部33a〜33cをすべて機体10の外側に露出させることになり、その結果、内部に一時貯留させた紙幣のオペレータによる取り出しを可能とする。
