Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an applicator cap, and more particularly to a cap attached to the tip of a ballpoint pen, felt pen, line marker, glue, nail polish, or the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A cap is attached to the tip of an applicator such as a ballpoint pen or a felt pen for the purpose of preventing drying of the pen tip or the like, or for preventing ink from being smudged in an unexpected place. The cap of the applicator has an outer cylindrical portion 100 and an inner cylindrical portion 101 as shown in FIG. 7, and the inner cylindrical portion 101 is built in the outer cylindrical portion 100 via the joining wall 105. Things are widely adopted.
[0003]
In the double-structured cap, an outer fitting portion 102 that fits the body portion of the applicator is provided inside the outer tube portion 100, and the inner surface of the inner tube portion fits with the tip portion of the applicator. An inner fitting portion 103 is provided. The nib is hermetically sealed mainly by the inner cylinder portion 101 and the inner fitting portion 103. On the other hand, the outer cylinder part 100 and the outer fitting part 102 fulfill | perform the function which hold | maintains the main-body part of an applicator firmly, and prevents that the inner fitting part 103 remove | deviates.
[0004]
In the double-structured cap, the main function of the outer cylindrical portion 100 is to prevent the cap from coming off as described above, and it is not necessary to make airtightness a problem. Or a groove-like fitting structure is employed. When the cap is attached to the applicator, the double-structured cap, when the outer fitting portion 102 such as a rib is over the fitting portion provided in the main body portion, The feeling transmitted to is remarkable. Therefore, the double-structured cap has a feeling of use that cannot be experienced with a single-structured cap. In addition, the double-structured cap has a practical effect that it is possible to know that the cap is securely attached by sound and touch.
[0005]
However, recently there was a painful accident in which a child swallowed the cap and suffocated. In particular, the double-structured cap as described above has a slightly larger outer diameter than that of the single-structured cap, which is just large enough for children to swallow and clog the airways.
[0006]
Reflecting on this accident, the double-structured cap is required to have air permeability in the axial direction so that even if a child swallows it, only the situation of suffocation is avoided. As a configuration for providing air permeability in the axial direction as described above, a configuration in which a ventilation hole 106 is provided in a connection wall 105 connecting the outer cylinder portion 100 and the inner cylinder portion 101 is generally employed as shown in FIG. Yes.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the cap 100 for the applicator of the prior art, air permeability is ensured in the longitudinal direction through the air hole 106 of the connection wall 105 and the gap between the inner cylinder part 101 and the outer cylinder part 100. If the applicator cap 100 is swallowed, the air that has entered the inner cylinder portion 101 leaks between the inner cylinder portion 101 and the outer cylinder portion 100 through the vent hole 106 and is released from the end of the outer cylinder portion 100. Is done.
Here, in the series of air flow paths described above, the portion having the narrowest flow path is the portion of the vent hole 106. Therefore, if the cap 100 is swallowed, whether or not the life can be maintained until the medical institution arrives depends on the size of the vent 106. Therefore, it is desirable to design the vent hole 106 to be large.
However, the applicator cap 100 according to the prior art has a configuration in which the vent hole 106 is provided in the connection wall 105 between the outer cylinder portion 100 and the inner cylinder portion 101, so that the opening area of the vent hole 106 is limited. And a sufficient opening area cannot be secured. Therefore, if the cap 100 is swallowed, there is a concern that a sufficient airway cannot be secured.
[0008]
An object of the present invention is to provide an applicator cap with higher safety in view of the above-described problems of the prior art.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An invention according to claim 1 for solving the above-described problem includes an outer cylindrical portion that fits with a main body portion of the applicator, and an inner side that holds one end open and the other closed to hold the tip portion of the applicator. In the applicator cap having a cylindrical portion, a plurality of ribs are provided on the inner surface of the outer cylindrical portion, and the opening end of the inner cylindrical portion is supported by the ribs, and the opening end of the inner cylindrical portion is enlarged. An applicator cap characterized in that the cap is configured to have a diameter, and the rib is inserted into the enlarged diameter portion of the opening end portion of the inner cylindrical portion so as to contact the inner surface of the inner cylindrical portion and to support the inner side of the opening end portion. It is.
[0010]
In the applicator cap of the present invention, a plurality of ribs are provided on the inner surface of the outer cylindrical portion, and the open end of the inner cylindrical portion is supported by the ribs. Therefore, the space formed by the inside of the inner cylinder part, the outer periphery of the inner cylinder part, and the inner surface of the outer cylinder part communicates with each other through the gap between the ribs. Here, since the gap between the ribs has an area in the longitudinal direction of the cap, the opening area is larger than the configuration in which the vent hole is provided in the connection wall 105 as in the prior art.
[0011]
[0012]
[0013]
[0014]
[0015]
[0016]
In the applicator cap of the present invention, the rib supports the inner side of the opening end of the inner cylindrical portion. This configuration is a configuration in which the applicator cap is more robust and the manufacture thereof is simpler.
That is, the applicator cap of the present invention, the rib is so supports the inner open end of the inner tubular portion, a large contact area between the rib and the inner tubular portion, a high bonding strength therebetween. Moreover, since the contact area of a rib and an inner side cylinder part is large, both joining is easy and manufacture is easy.
[0017]
The invention according to claim 2 is an invention that further embodies the invention according to claim 1 , wherein the outer cylindrical portion and the rib are integrally formed, and the inner cylindrical portion is separate from the outer cylindrical portion and the rib. 2. The applicator cap according to claim 1 , wherein the cap is molded into a body, and the rib and the inner cylindrical portion are joined by engagement and / or adhesion.
[0018]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of an applicator cap according to an embodiment of the present invention. 2 is a cross-sectional perspective view of the applicator cap of FIG. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of a cap for an applicator according to another embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional perspective view of the applicator cap of FIG. FIG. 5 is a sectional view of an applicator cap according to still another embodiment of the present invention. 6 is a cross-sectional perspective view of the applicator cap of FIG.
[0019]
1 and 2, reference numeral 1 denotes an applicator cap of the present invention. The cap 1 has a double structure formed by injection molding using, for example, a thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene or polyacetal, and has an outer cylindrical portion 2 and an inner cylindrical portion 3.
The outer cylinder part 2 is provided with an outer fitting part 6 that is fitted to the main body part of the applicator 5 on the inner surface side in the same manner as in the prior art. On the other hand, the inner cylinder part 3 holds one end part 8 of the applicator 5 with one open and the other closed, and an inner fitting part that fits the front end part 8 of the applicator 5 on its inner surface. 10 is provided.
[0020]
And in the cap 1 for applicators of this embodiment, the outer cylinder part 2 and the inner cylinder part 3 are joined by the some rib 12. FIG.
The rib 12 is provided on the inner surface of the outer cylindrical portion 12 and supports the end surface of the open end portion of the inner cylindrical portion 3. That is, the rib 12 has an “L” shape, and has a portion 15 positioned perpendicular to the inner surface of the outer cylindrical portion 2 and a portion 16 (a portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the cap 1) positioned horizontally. And the front-end | tip of the site | part 16 located horizontally of the rib 12 is joined to the opening end surface of the inner cylinder part 3, and the inner cylinder part 3 is supported so that it may become concentric with the outer cylinder part 2. FIG.
[0021]
In this embodiment, since there is a gap 17 between the ribs 12, the axial ventilation of the applicator cap 1 is ensured.
That is, as shown in FIG. 2, air entering from the lower side of the drawing enters the inner cylinder portion 3, but there is a gap 17 formed by the ribs 12 around the open end of the inner cylinder portion 3. Therefore, the air that has entered from the lower side of the drawing passes through the gap 17 and flows into the space 18 formed by the outer periphery of the inner cylindrical portion 3 and the inner surface of the outer cylindrical portion 2. And since the front end side of this space 18 is open | released, air is discharged | emitted by the front end side of the cap 1 for applicators. Therefore, the applicator cap 1 has air permeability in the axial direction.
Further, the gap 17 between the ribs 12 described above has a larger opening area than the conventional technique. That is, since the gap 17 is formed in both the part 15 positioned perpendicular to the inner surface of the outer cylindrical portion 2 of the rib 12 and the part 16 positioned horizontally, the opening area is large. Accordingly, even if the applicator cap 1 of this embodiment is swallowed by mistake, the minimum airway is ensured.
In other words, the cap for the applicator according to the present embodiment has a wide space formed by the outer periphery of the inner cylindrical portion and the inner surface of the outer cylindrical portion in the rib forming portion because the rib supports the opening end surface of the inner cylindrical portion. It has lower resistance and higher safety.
[0022]
Although the manufacturing method of the applicator cap 1 of the present embodiment is arbitrary, it is recommended that the outer cylindrical portion 2, the inner cylindrical portion 3 and the rib 12 be simultaneously and integrally formed by injection molding or the like.
[0023]
In the above-described embodiment, the configuration in which the opening end surface of the inner cylindrical portion 3 is supported by the rib 12 is exemplified, but in addition, the rib 12 is configured to support the outside or the inner side of the opening end portion of the inner cylindrical portion 3. Is also possible. Hereinafter, the structure which supports the outer side or inner side of the opening edge part of the inner side cylinder part 3 with the rib 12 is demonstrated. In the embodiment described below, the components other than the main part are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in the previous embodiment, and detailed description thereof is omitted.
[0024]
3 and 4 exemplify a configuration in which the inner side of the opening end portion of the inner cylindrical portion 3 is supported by the rib 12.
The applicator cap 20 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is formed by separately molding the outer cylindrical portion 21 and the inner cylindrical portion 22 and joining them in a subsequent process.
The outer cylindrical portion 21 of the applicator cap 20 is substantially the same as that of the previous embodiment, and the rib 12 is provided on the inner surface.
[0025]
On the other hand, the inner cylinder part 22 has a configuration in which the diameter of the opening end part is increased.
And the rib 12 of the outer cylinder part 21 is inserted in the diameter-expanded part of the opening edge part of the inner cylinder part 22. FIG. That is, the outer peripheral portion of the rib 12 is in contact with the inner surface of the inner cylindrical portion 22, and both are joined. In addition, joining of the outer peripheral part of the rib 12 and the inner surface of the inner cylinder part 22 may be by simple mechanical engagement, or may be an adhesive structure with an adhesive.
[0026]
5 and 6 illustrate a configuration in which the rib 12 supports the outside of the opening end portion of the inner cylindrical portion 3.
The cap 30 for applicator shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 is formed by separately forming the outer cylindrical portion 31 and the inner cylindrical portion 32 in the same manner as the applicator cap 20 exemplified above, and joins them in a later process. It is a thing.
The outer cylindrical portion 31 of the applicator cap 30 is provided with ribs 12 on the inner surface in the same manner as in the previous embodiment, but in this embodiment, the inscribed circle of the ribs 12 is more than that of the previous embodiment. It is large and coincides with the outer diameter of the inner cylinder part 32.
And the inner surface of the site | part 16 located horizontally with respect to the inner surface of the outer side cylinder part 31 of the rib 12 contact | connects the outer peripheral surface of the inner side cylinder part 32, and both are joined. The bonding between the two may be by simple mechanical engagement or may be an adhesive structure with an adhesive.
That is, the cap for an applicator according to the present embodiment has a large contact area between the rib and the inner cylindrical portion, and not only has a high bonding strength between them, but also facilitates the bonding between the two, and is easy to manufacture.
[0027]
The applicator caps 20 and 30 shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 6 also have high safety because the air permeability in the axial direction is ensured through the gap 17.
[0028]
【The invention's effect】
The cap for an applicator according to the present invention is provided with air permeability in the axial direction through a gap between ribs, ensures a large opening area, and has a large air flow when swallowed. Therefore, the applicator cap of the present invention is highly safe.
[0029]
[0030]
Moreover , the cap for applicators of this invention has a large contact area of a rib and an inner side cylinder part, and not only the both joining strength is high, but both joining is easy and manufacture is easy.
