本発明は、プラスチック射出成形品及びその強度測定方法に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
プラスチック材料を乾燥不十分のまま射出成形すると、加水分解を起こし著しく強度が低下することがある。強度低下の判断は目視で行うことはできない。したがって、成形品に負荷をかけて破壊しその判断を行うことが多かった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、成形品に負荷をかけて破壊し強度低下の判断を行う場合、成形品を損なったり、作業者の感覚に頼るところが大きいために正確な強度低下の判断は難しいという問題があった。

そこで本発明は、成形品を損なうことなく、強度低下の判断を正確に行うプラスチック射出成形品と、その強度測定方法とを提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、請求項1記載の発明は、ランナー部に凸形状部を有し、かつ、前記凸形状部の基部にノッチ形状部が形成されていることを特徴とする。

また、本発明のプラスチック射出成形品の強度測定方法は、請求項2に記載の通り、請求項1に記載のプラスチック射出成形品の強度測定方法であって、射出成形後、前記ランナー部に設けた前記凸形状部の先端ないし先端付近に、強度測定器のフックを引っ掛けて、前記凸形状部が破断するまで引っ張り続けて測定することを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面により本発明の実施の形態を詳細に説明する。図1はプラスチック射出成形品の参考構成図であり、(a)は正面図、(b)は側面図である。本発明のプラスチック射出成形品は、プラスチックの射出成形工程において生じるランナー部1に、ある一定の高さを持つリブ状の凸形状部2を設けてある。

図2は他のプラスチック射出成形品の参考正面図である。この形態では、凸形状部2の先端に鉤形状部3を形成し、プラスチック射出成形品の強度測定時に、測定器が鉤形状部3に引っ掛かるようにしている。

以上説明したように、請求項1記載の発明によれば、ランナー部に設けた凸形状部のくぼみ形状部に測定器のフックを引っ掛けて強度測定するため、破断強度を数値化でき、プラスチック射出成形品を損なうことなく、正確に強度評価を行うことができ、かつ、凸形状部の基部にノッチ形状部を形成したので、強度測定時の感度を高めることができる。
