本発明は、家具等における扉と筐体とを回動可能に連結するヒンジ装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
家具の扉を開閉させるヒンジ装置について、例えば、特開平5−133154号公報には、家具本体の側板内側から家具内部空間に本体側ヒンジを突出させないような工夫がなされている。これは家具の収納空間を有効に利用するためである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
然しながら、扉を閉じた状態で、第1リンクと第2リンクは依然として家具内の収納空間に大きく突出しており、家具の収納空間を有効に利用すると言う観点からは未だ不充分と言わざるを得ない。また、扉を開放した状態において、該扉がふらつかないように保持することは高品質の家具等として望まれ、更には、扉を閉じた状態において、該扉を閉じる操作とは別の操作をし、該扉が不用意に開かないように閉じた状態に保持させるものは従来から有るが、家具を使用する人が、単に扉を閉じる操作だけを行えば、その結果として扉を閉じた状態に保持できれば簡便で望ましい。また、扉を閉じようとする場合に、扉が完全に閉じる少し手前の位置まで閉じた場合に、残りの閉じ操作を行わなくても、自動的に引き込んで閉じることができれば簡便で好ましい。また、扉を閉めた場合の筐体との衝突音の発生を低減させることができれば好ましい。
依って、本発明は、家具等の収納空間をより有効に利用できるヒンジ装置の提供を目的とする。
また、扉を開いた状態や閉じた状態において、扉のふらつきを防止することを目的とする。
また、人が扉を完全に閉めきらなくても、残りは自動的に引き込んで閉められるヒンジ装置の提供を目的とする。
また、扉を閉じた際に生ずる音を低減させることのできるヒンジ装置の提供を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的に鑑みて請求項1では、筐体に取り付けられる筐体側ベース部と、扉に取り付けられてリンク収容凹部を有する扉側ベース部と、該両ベース部間を揺動可能に連結する4つのリンクを備えたヒンジ装置において、第1リンクは一端部が筐体側ベース部に枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、他端部が第2リンクの一端部の外側又は内側に枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、第2リンクは第3リンクの内側に配設されて枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、他端部が扉側ベース部のリンク収容凹部内側に枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、第3リンクは一端部が筐体側ベース部に枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、他端部が第4リンクの一端部に枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、第4リンクは他端部が扉側ベース部のリンク収容凹部内側に枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、扉は筐体に対して概ね180度の開度に開扉可能であって、扉を閉めた場合に、扉側ベース部のリンク収容凹部には前記4つのリンクがほぼ収納可能であり、前記第4リンクには、前記他端部側に配設した第1押圧部材と、該第1押圧部材を常時付勢する付勢手段とを備え、一方、前記第4リンクの他端部を枢軸を介して回動可能に連結している扉側ベース部のリンク収容凹部内側には、該枢軸を挿通させた軸受部があり、該軸受部の外周は、第4リンクが該枢軸を介して回動する際に前記第1押圧部材が当接すると共に、該軸受部の孔中心を中心とした円弧状の当接面と、該円弧状当接面よりも引っ込んだ凹部であって、扉を完全に閉じる手前位置において、前記第1押圧部材を落し込ませることができると共に、扉が閉じた状態において係合する第1凹部と、前記円弧状当接面よりも引っ込んだ凹部であって、扉が概ね180度開いた状態において係合する第2凹部とを具備し、前記第4リンクには、該第4リンクの前記一端部に設けた枢軸を挿通させ、該枢軸の外径よりも長い長軸径を有した長孔を有する第2押圧部材を更に具備し、前記付勢手段は第1、第2の押圧部材を互いに離反させる方向に常時付勢すると共に、前記長軸はこの付勢方向に沿っており、一方、扉側ベース部のリンク収容凹部内側には、扉が完全に閉じる幾分か前の位置において前記第2押圧部材と係合できる係合部を設けており、該係合部と第2押圧部材との係合部分は、該係合部と第2押圧部材との係合状態において、扉に対してその閉位置方向に所定以上の力を付与すれば、第2押圧部材の長孔内の枢軸に対する該第2押圧部材の可動範囲内の移動によって係合を離脱できる寸法形状であることを特徴とするヒンジ装置を提供する。

リンク収容凹部を有する扉側ベース部は、扉自体に直接リンク収容凹部を設けてもよく、また、別部品としてのブラケット部材にリンク収容凹部を設け、これを扉に装着してもよい。後者の場合は、ブラケット部材を扉に埋め込むことが収納空間をより有効に利用できることに繋がる。また、筐体側ベース部は、筐体自体でもよく、また、別部品として形成して、筐体に装着してもよい。後者の場合、筐体内面に対して埋め込むか、或いは可及的に薄く形成することが収納空間をより有効利用できることに繋がる。以上のことは、他の請求項においても同様である。
扉側ベース部のリンク収容凹部には、扉を閉めた場合に第1から第4までの4つのリンクがほぼ収納可能であるため、筐体の収納空間を可及的に有効利用できる。また、扉は概ね180度開くため、収容空間への物の出し入れが容易となる。
更には、第4リンクには、前記他端部側に配設した第1押圧部材と、該第1押圧部材を常時付勢する付勢手段とを備え、一方、前記第4リンクの他端部を枢軸を介して回動可能に連結している扉側ベース部のリンク収容凹部内側には、該枢軸を挿通させた軸受部があり、該軸受部の外周は、第4リンクが該枢軸を介して回動する際に前記第1押圧部材が当接する当接面と、扉を完全に閉じる手前位置において、前記第1押圧部材を落し込ませることができると共に、扉が閉じた状態において係合する第1凹部と、概ね180度開いた状態において係合する第2凹部とを具備するため、扉を概ね180度開いた状態では、付勢手段に押圧された第1押圧部材が軸受部外周の第2凹部に係合するため、全開状態の扉が不用意にふらつくことが防止できる。また、扉を完全に閉じる手前位置で、付勢手段に押圧された第1押圧部材が軸受部外周の第1凹部に落ち込んで係合するため、人が扉を完全に閉じるまで操作することなく、閉位置に近い位置まで閉じることにより、後はこの機構によって自動的に引き込まれて閉じられ、簡便であると共に、係合によって閉じた状態の扉が不用意に開く方向へ開こうとふらつくことが防止できる。

請求項1又は2の作用効果に加えて、扉が閉じる方向では、係合部の急傾斜面によって一時的に扉の閉じ動作が止められ、所定以上の力によって扉を完全に閉じ、その後、再び開く方向に回動させる場合には、係合部の緩やかな傾斜面と当接するので回動抵抗が小さく、扉の開動作に支障を来さない。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を添付図面に示す実施形態例に基づき、更に詳細に説明する。
図1は本発明に係るヒンジ装置の分解斜視図であり、図2は家具等の筐体KTと扉D1に適用した場合の上面視による部分断面図であり、作動をも示している。図3〜図6は、本発明の第4リンクに設けている機構と、その作動を説明する部分破断図である。図2に示す扉D2は隣接した家具のものである。

主として図1を参照しつつ、ヒンジ装置の各構成部材と互いの連結につき説明する。家具等の筐体に固定する筐体側ベース部KBは、断面がコ字状の下側部材KB1の内側に、断面がコ字状の上側部材KB2を図示の方向で被せ、夫々の一端部に設けた孔に、枢軸としての(以下の各ピンについても同様であり、記載を省略する)ピンP0を挿通させる。また、3本のネジN1によって筐体に固定しつつ、上下部材の一体化を強固にしている。更に、他のネジN2は筐体KTの側壁の内側面をなす内側板部材KTA(図2)に対して固定された上側部材に対する下側部材の高さ調節に使用される。また、他のネジN2による上側部材と下側部材の調節された位置関係を、3本のネジN1の内、図2でいえば、最も右側に位置しているネジN1によって固定する。

上記筐体側ベース部KBの下側部材の他端部には、孔P1AHが設けられており、この端部領域には上側部材の他端部は至っていない。そこで、この下側部材他端部の内側に、断面がコの字状の第1リンクL1の一端部L1Aを位置させ、孔を前記孔P1AHに合致させた状態でピンP1Aを挿通させる。また、第1リンクの他端部L1Bの内側には第2リンクL2の一端部L2Aを位置させ、夫々に設けている孔にピンP2Aを挿通させる。また、第2リンクの他端部L2Bは、後述するが、図示の如き収納空間SPを設けた扉側ベース部DBの開放側端部(図1の左端部)の内側に位置させ、両部材に設けた孔にピンP2Bを挿通させる。

また、第2リンクL2は一端部と他端部との中間部にも孔を設けており、該第2リンクを図示の如き形状の第3リンクL3の内側に位置させ、該第3リンクの中央部に設けている孔に前記第2リンクの中間部の孔を合致させてピンP3Cを挿通させる。また、筐体側ベース部の下側部材KB1の他端部側の前記孔P1AH近くに他の孔P3AHが設けられており、第3リンクL3の一端部L3Aが、この下側部材他端部の外側に位置して、第3リンク一端部の孔を前記孔P3AHに合致させた状態でピンP3Aを挿通させる。また、第3リンクは、第1リンクをもその内側に位置させることのできるような内側幅寸法を有している。更には、第1リンクと第2リンクが第3リンク内に出入り可能なように、上側部に大きな開口部L3Kが設けられている。下側部は全面的に開放されている。

第3リンクの他端部L3Bの内側には、断面コ字状の第4リンクL4の一端部L4Aが位置し、夫々に設けられている孔にピンP3Bが挿通されている。第4リンクの他端部L4Bは前述の扉側ベース部DBの内側に位置させ、該他端部の孔と、扉側ベース部の長さ方向中央部(図1の左右方向中央部)に設けられている軸受部JB(図3)とこれに隣接した左右端部の軸受部分JB’とに貫通形成した孔とにピンP4Bを挿通させる。

一方、扉D1には扉側ベース部DBが取り付けられている。扉側ベース部は、扉の外側面を形成する外側板部材D1Bと、内側板部材D1Aの形成する内側面との間に埋設すべく、即ち、内側面から収納空間内に突出することが防止されるように取り付けられている。具体的には、扉側ベース部を内側板部材D1Aに設けた穴部に挿入し、そのフランジ部FRを穴部の周縁部に乗せた状態でネジ止め固定している。

扉D1を完全に閉じた場合、図2に示すように第1〜第4のリンクは折り畳まれ、扉側ベース部の収納空間SP内に収まっている。この例のヒンジ装置では、扉側ベース部のフランジ部外表面に対して、ぎりぎり一杯に収まっており、厳密に表現すれば、扉の内側板部材D1Aの成す扉の内側面より、フランジ部の厚さ分だけ筐体収納空間側に出ているとも表現できるが、実質的には、収納空間に突出していないといえる。また、大きな第3リンクの内側に、他の第1、第2、第4の各リンクが部分的にはみ出してはいるが、殆ど収納された状態となっている。また、この場合、第2リンクの幅は第4リンクの内側に収まる寸法であるため、第2リンクの一部分が第4リンクの内側に入っており、干渉しない。

扉の一端側が筐体の縁部(当接用のゴム部材等を含む意味)に当った状態、即ち、完全に閉じた状態では、第1リンクL1は切欠部K3CにおいてピンP3Cに近接している。第3リンクL3は切欠部K2BにおいてピンP2Bに近接していると共に、切欠部KJB’において扉側ベース部DBの左右端部の軸受部分JB’に近接している。また、第3リンクの他端部L3B寄りの側板部下縁が、扉側ベース部DBの底面に近接している。更には、第4リンクL4が扉側ベース部DBの底面に近接している。

この図2に示されているように平面視において、本発明に係るヒンジ装置を構成する各部材は、筐体の内側板部材KTAの成す内側面の前方への延長ラインよりも内側(収納空間側)には突出していない。従って、筐体の開口幅を狭めることなく利用できて、筐体内部の収納空間から物を出し入れする作業が円滑に行える。

以上説明した本発明に係るヒンジ装置では、第2リンクL2の一端部L2Aが第1リンクL1の他端部L1Bの内側に配設された機構であるが、逆に外側に位置させ、その他のリンクとの関係は同様であっても、図2で説明した各作用効果を同様に奏する。但し、前述した第2リンクが第1リンクの内側に配設された場合の、第2リンクの幅は第4リンクの内側に収まる寸法であるため、閉じた場合に第2リンクの一部分が第4リンクの内側に入っており、干渉しないとの説明は変更となる。即ち、第4リンクが第2リンクの内側に位置するように第2リンクの幅を形成してもよく、また、同じ程度の幅にして、何れか一方のリンクの干渉する部位を削った形態にしてもよい等に変更となる。

次に、第1リンクと第2リンクの配設関係が、上記した内側、外側の何れの場合であっても、以下の図3から図6を参照した機構の作動は成立する。
図3は扉が閉じた状態、即ち、図2において扉を実線で示した状態の場合の、第4リンク内に配設された機構と、扉側ベース部の一部を破断して示したものである。また図4は扉を完全に開いた状態の、図3に対応する図である。ピンP4Bが挿通している軸受部JBの外周面CSは、ピン受用の孔の中心位置を中心とした円の一部である(円柱表面の一部である)。

扉が完全に開いた状態における第4リンク内の第1押圧部材M1の位置に対応させて、円弧状の軸受部外周面に第2凹部K2を設けている。また、扉が閉じた状態に対応して、円弧状の軸受部外周面に第1凹部K1を設けている。また、第1押圧部材M1の先部は、概ね楕円状や放物線状等のように滑らかな先細状に形成されている。

このため、扉が完全に閉まる前の、扉の開度で言って25度程度前の位置まで閉めれば、その後は、コイルスプリングRに付勢されている第1押圧部材M1が第1凹部K1内に自然に滑り込み(落ち込み)、これにより扉は自動的に引き込まれて完全に閉じることができる。このことは、人の手で最後まで閉めきる必要が無くて簡便であると共に、強く閉めすぎた場合に生じる大きな音を防止し、静かに閉めることができるという効果を生ずる。また、第1凹部と第1押圧部材との係合によって第4リンクの動きが規制されるため、閉じられた扉が振動等によって不用意に開放されたりするふらつきが防止される。

扉を開く場合は、完全に開ききる少し前に(180度近くになって)、やはり、第1押圧部材M1が第2凹部K2に滑り込み始め、その後自動的に滑り込み、これによって扉が完全に開いた状態になる。そして、第2凹部と第1押圧部材との係合によって第4リンクの動きが規制されるため、完全に開かれた扉が、振動等によって不用意に閉じる方向に移動するふらつきが防止される。

図3と図4を参照しつつ説明した上記事項は、図3に図示しているように、補助板部材HBを取り外していても、また更に、第2押圧部材M2が無くても、図5や図6のように装着していても同様である。補助板部材や第2押圧部材M2を装着している場合は後述のように、扉が完全に閉まる方向に自動引き込みされている途中において、一旦停止させられることが異なる。

補助板部材HBの裏側所定位置には、扉側ベース部DBに設けた切欠部TA’と係合、離脱の可能な係合部TAを設けており、補助板部材を着脱可能に構成している。また、前面の所定位置には係合部としての山状の凸部TBを設けており、扉側ベース部に装着された状態において、その収納空間SPの開放側を上、底面側を下とすれば、補助板部材は上下方向に延伸するように装着されていることになる。凸部の上側面KKは、補助板部材の面に対して直交する方向に近いという意味で、急な傾斜角度に形成されており、その下側の面YKは緩い傾斜角度に形成されている。また、凸部の高さ寸法は、既述の第2押圧部材M2に設けた貫通孔P3BHの長軸長さ(長軸径)から、ピンP3Bの直径を差し引いた長さ以下である。

図5を参照すれば、補助板部材を装着した状態では、扉を閉じようとして完全に閉じる前の、例えば25度程度手前の位置において、既述の如き機構によって扉は自動的に閉まり始める。しかし、完全に閉まる少し前、例えば、扉の開度角度で言って5度程度手前位置において、第2押圧部材M2が凸部の急傾斜面KKに引っ掛り、扉の動きは一旦停止させられる。その後、所定以上の力で扉を押せば、第2押圧部材がコイルスプリングRの付勢力に抗して後退し、凸部との係合が外れる。これによって扉を完全に閉じることができる。

第2リンクは第3リンクの内側に配設されて枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、他端部が扉側ベース部のリンク収容凹部内側に枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、
第3リンクは一端部が筐体側ベース部に枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、他端部が第4リンクの一端部に枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、
第4リンクは他端部が扉側ベース部のリンク収容凹部内側に枢軸を介して回動可能に連結され、
