Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a seedling root cover used in the field of agriculture and horticulture.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In order to protect the root part of plant seedlings together with soil, a seedling root cover formed in a bag shape or the like by a nonwoven fabric is used. As the nonwoven fabric constituting the root cover for raising seedlings, for example, a nonwoven fabric obtained by partial thermocompression bonding of a single-layer long fiber web by embossing over the thickness direction, or a single fabric as described in JP-A-6-335327, etc. Examples of the nonwoven fabric include a three-dimensionally entangled nonwoven fabric web that is needle punched.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the non-woven fabric subjected to partial thermocompression bonding to the single-layer long fiber web as described above, the root growth of the seedling is suppressed by the resistance of the partial thermocompression bonding part, and the root is rounded inside the root cover for raising seedlings, Corresponding to this, there is a problem that the growth of branches, that is, the trees themselves is hindered.
[0004]
In addition, when the seedling root cover is formed of needle punched nonwoven fabric as described above, the root can penetrate the nonwoven fabric more easily than the embossed one, but the root penetrates the nonwoven fabric. If it is too much, fine roots do not remain in the container, and if the roots around the container are cut off as is normally done at the time of transplantation, only thick roots remain inside the container, and after transplanting, such as nutrients from the soil There is a problem that absorption becomes insufficient.
[0005]
Then, this invention solves such a problem and aims at obtaining the root cover for raising seedlings which can penetrate a root without excess and deficiency.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of intensive studies to solve the above problems, the present inventors have reached the present invention. That is, the present invention is a seedling root cover for covering a plant root portion and the soil surrounding the root, and is constituted by a laminated long fiber nonwoven fabric made of a thermoplastic polymer, and the nonwoven fabric is a root cover. At least two layers of a first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer constituting the outer surface side and a second long fiber nonwoven fabric layer constituting the inner surface side of the root cover are laminated, and the configuration of the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer The fibers are bonded by partial thermocompression bonding, the constituent fibers of the second long fiber nonwoven fabric layer are integrated by three-dimensional entanglement, and the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer has one surface. It is a concavo-convex surface formed by a partial thermocompression bonding portion, the other surface is a heat-sealing surface formed by heat-sealing the entire surface, and the concavo-convex surface is disposed on the second long fiber nonwoven fabric layer side, The fibers that make up each layer are three-dimensionally entangled Therefore it is an first aspect of the nursery for roots cover, characterized in that the long-fiber nonwoven fabric layer and the second long-fiber nonwoven fabric layer are integrated.
[0007]
Moreover, it is a root cover for raising seedlings for covering the root part of the plant and the soil around the root, and is a first container member made of a long-fiber nonwoven fabric made of a thermoplastic polymer constituting the outer surface of the root cover. Inside, a second container member made of a long-fiber nonwoven fabric made of a thermoplastic polymer constituting the inner surface of the root cover is fitted, and the constituent fibers of the first container member are bonded by partial thermocompression bonding, The constituent fibers of the second container member are integrated by three-dimensional entanglement, and the first container member is an uneven surface formed by a partial thermocompression bonding portion, and the other surface is The entire surface is a heat-sealing surface formed by heat-sealing, the uneven surface is disposed on the second container member side, and the first container member and the second container member are integrated. The gist of the present invention is a root cover for raising seedlings.
[0008]
By using such a seedling root cover, the roots of the plant are favorably used in the second long-fiber nonwoven fabric layer or the second container member in which the constituent fibers are three-dimensionally entangled without hindering the growth of the plant roots. It can penetrate. In addition, since the roots extend to a place where there is a gap, the roots penetrating the second long fiber nonwoven fabric layer or the second container member are the same as those of the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer or the first container member. Easy to extend into the recess. Therefore, the root reaches the partial thermocompression bonding part on the bottom of the recess, but the partial thermocompression bonding part is made of resin as the fiber melts and softens, so the penetration resistance is large, and the root receives resistance to form callus. To do. On the other hand, the capillary root that extends from the callus after forming the callus at the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer or the root and the concave portion that has entered the convex portion of the first container member is the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer or the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer. It reaches the heat sealing surface in the container member. Since the space on the heat-sealing surface is small, the root receives resistance and forms callus, and only the capillary root can pass through the heat-sealing surface and extend out of the root cover. In the present invention, it is considered that the roots can be properly penetrated by such a configuration and action.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

FIG. 1A is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a long-fiber nonwoven fabric constituting the root cover, FIG. 1B is a perspective view of a root cover for raising seedlings, and FIG. 1C is a cross-sectional view of FIG. FIG.

The binder resin used for coating and impregnation is not particularly limited, but it is preferably a binder resin having biodegradability in consideration of disposal processing, transplantation, and the like. Examples of the binder resin having biodegradability include emulsions made of biodegradable resins, polyvinyl alcohol, and starch.

In this way, by subjecting the first long-fiber

The individual shape of the thermocompression bonding part 4 is not necessarily circular, and may be any of an ellipse, a cross, a rhombus, a triangle, a T shape, a well shape, and the like. It may be in the form of a stripe or a lattice. In the case of a dotted shape, the individual thermocompression bonding part 4 is 0.1 to 1.2 mm. 2 The density thereof, that is, the crimping point density is 2 to 80 pieces / cm. 2 And more preferably 4-6 pieces / cm 2 It is. Moreover, it is preferable that the ratio of the area of the total thermocompression bonding part with respect to the total surface area of the uneven | corrugated surface A, ie, a thermocompression-bonding area ratio, is 4 to 50%, More preferably, it is 10 to 20%.

[0025]
In the case of a needle punched nonwoven fabric, the needle density is appropriately set according to the type and depth of the needle used, but generally 20 to 100 times / cm. 2 Is preferred. Needle density is 20 times / cm 2 If it is less than the range, the degree of entanglement is small, and there is a tendency that an appropriate inter-fiber gap cannot be obtained. On the other hand, the needle density is 100 times / cm 2 Exceeding the strength increases the degree of entanglement between the long fibers, but the long fibers are severely damaged by the needle needle, and the fibers themselves become extremely low in strength, so the mechanical strength of the nonwoven fabric tends to be inferior. It becomes.

Examples of the thermoplastic aliphatic polyester having biodegradability include poly (α-hydroxy acids) such as polyglycolic acid and polylactic acid, and copolymers having these as main repeating unit elements. Further, poly (ω-hydroxyalkanoate) such as poly (ε-caprolactone) and poly (β-propiolactone) is further added to poly-3-hydroxypropionate, poly-3-hydroxybutyrate, poly Poly (β-hydroxyalkanoates) such as -3-hydroxycaprolate, poly-3-hydroxyheptanoate, poly-3-hydroxyoctanoate, and repeating unit elements constituting them and poly-3-hydroxy Examples thereof include a copolymer with a repeating unit element constituting valerate or poly-4-hydroxybutyrate. Examples of polyalkylene dicarboxylates composed of a condensation polymer of glycol and dicarboxylic acid include polyethylene oxalate, polyethylene succinate, polyethylene adipate, polyethylene azelate, polybutylene oxalate, polybutylene succinate, polybutylene adipate, Examples thereof include polybutylene sebacate, polyhexamethylene sebacate, polyneopentyl oxalate, and polyalkylene dicarboxylate copolymer having repeating unit elements constituting them. Furthermore, it is also possible to select a plurality of these individually biodegradable polymers and blend them.
[0032]
In the present invention, from the viewpoints of biodegradability, yarn-forming properties, practicality, and the like, in particular, polylactic acid polymers can be preferably used. Examples of the polylactic acid-based polymer include poly (D-lactic acid), poly (L-lactic acid), a copolymer of D-lactic acid and L-lactic acid, and a copolymer of D-lactic acid and hydroxycarboxylic acid. Or the polymer whose melting | fusing point is 100 degreeC or more among the copolymers of L-lactic acid and hydroxycarboxylic acid is preferable. Here, as the hydroxycarboxylic acid in the case of a copolymer of lactic acid and hydroxycarboxylic acid, glycolic acid, hydroxybutyric acid, hydroxyvaleric acid, hydroxypentanoic acid, hydroxycaproic acid, hydroxyheptanoic acid, hydroxyoctanoic acid, etc. Can be mentioned.
[0033]
The thermoplastic aliphatic polyester of the present invention preferably has a number average molecular weight of about 20,000 or more, preferably 40,000 or more, more preferably 60,000 or more from the viewpoint of yarn production and obtained yarn characteristics. . Further, in order to increase the degree of polymerization, the chain may be extended with a small amount of diisocyanate or tetracarboxylic dianhydride.
[0034]
It is preferable that a crystal nucleating agent such as talc, boron nitride, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, titanium oxide or the like is added to the thermoplastic aliphatic polyester as necessary. When such a crystal nucleating agent is added, crystallization of the thermoplastic aliphatic polyester is promoted, and the heat resistance and mechanical strength when used as a seedling cover can be improved. Further, when spinning a thermoplastic aliphatic polyester, fusion (blocking) between yarns in the spinning / cooling step can be prevented. The addition amount of the crystal nucleating agent is preferably in the range of 0.1 to 3.0% by mass, and more preferably in the range of 0.5 to 2.0% by mass.
[0035]
Moreover, you may add not only the said crystal nucleating agent but various additives, such as a delustering agent and a pigment, in the range which does not impair the effect of this invention as needed. For example, the addition of a black pigment or dye such as carbon black or black dye is suitable as a root cover for raising seedlings. That is, when buried in the ground, this pigment or dye makes it easier to absorb geothermal heat, improving the heat retention of plant roots and contributing to root growth. However, if the amount of the additive is excessively increased, the spinning property is lowered when the fiber is spun, so that the amount added is in the range of 0.1 to 3.0% by mass relative to the thermoplastic aliphatic polyester. Is preferable, and the range of 0.5 to 2.0 mass% is more preferable.
[0036]
The fiber form of the constituent fiber composed of the thermoplastic aliphatic polyester of the present invention is not particularly limited, and the aliphatic fiber may be used alone or a composite fiber using two or more aliphatic polyesters. But it ’s okay. In addition to the usual round cross section, the fiber cross section is hollow, irregular, parallel, multi-layer, multi-layer, core-sheath, cross-section, and any other depending on the purpose and application. The fiber cross-sectional form can be adopted. From the viewpoint of decomposition performance, a hollow cross section, a modified cross section, a split composite cross section and the like are particularly preferable.

In the seedling root cover made of the above laminated long fiber nonwoven fabric or the root cover for raising seedling formed by integrating the first and second containers, when the root of the tree extends through the nonwoven fabric, the root is made of the nonwoven fabric. It is only necessary to enter between the constituent fibers and push the constituent fibers together, and it is not necessary to break the constituent fibers. Therefore, the strength of the constituent fibers of the nonwoven fabric is not required to be lower than the strength of the root. Therefore, for example, it is possible to use fibers having higher strength than the roots of trees, and the constituent fibers can be selected relatively freely.
[0042]
Moreover, in the above, the bottomed cylindrical seedling root cover was exemplified, but the form of the seedling root cover is not limited to this, and other appropriate forms can be adopted.

【Example】
EXAMPLES Next, although this invention is demonstrated concretely based on an Example, this invention is not limited only to these Examples. In addition, the measuring method of the various physical-property values in a following example and a comparative example is as follows.
(1) Melting point (° C.): Using a differential scanning calorimeter DSC-7 manufactured by Perkin Elma, measured with a sample weight of 5 mg and a heating rate of 20 ° C./min. The temperature giving the peak extreme value was defined as the melting point Tm (° C.).
(2) Single yarn fineness (decitex): The fiber diameter in a web state was measured with 50 microscopes, and the average value of fineness obtained by correcting the density was defined as fineness.
(3) Weight per unit (g / m 2 ): Ten points each of 10 cm long × 10 cm wide sample pieces were prepared from the standard sample, and after making the equilibrium moisture, the mass (g) of each sample piece was weighed, and the average value of the obtained values was measured in units. In terms of area per unit area (g / m 2 ).
(4) Tensile strength (N / 5 cm width): Measured according to the strip method described in JIS-L-1096. That is, 10 pieces of sample pieces having a sample length of 20 cm and a sample width of 5 cm are prepared for the machine direction (MD) of the nonwoven fabric, and a constant-speed extension type tensile tester (Orientec) is produced for each sample piece in the MD direction of the nonwoven fabric. Tensilon UTM-4-1-100) was used, and the sample was held at an interval of 10 cm and stretched at a tensile rate of 20 cm / min. And the average value of the obtained load value at the time of cutting (N / 5 cm width) was made into tensile strength.
(5) Air permeability (cc / cm 2 / Sec): Measured according to the fragile method described in JIS-L-1096. That is, three samples having a sample length of 15 cm and a sample width of 15 cm were prepared, and after a sample was attached to one end of a cylinder using a Frazier type tester, the inclined pressure showed a pressure of 12.7 mm of water by a variable resistor. Thus, the suction pump was adjusted, the amount of air passing through the sample piece was determined from the pressure indicated by the vertical barometer at that time and the type of air hole used, and the average value was taken as the air permeability.
[0044]
In the present invention, the air permeability is 30 cc / cm. 2 If it is less than 1 second, the function of microorganisms that decompose organic matter in the soil and serve as a nutrient source for the plant becomes dull, and the growth of seedlings tends to be hindered. Therefore, the air permeability is 30 cc / cm. 2 The air permeability was judged to be good if it was greater than or equal to / sec.
(6) Water permeability coefficient (cm / sec): Based on the constant water level permeability test described in JIS-A1218, the water temperature is 20 ° C., and the cross-sectional area of the permeable cylinder is 3.14 cm. 2 And the water permeability coefficient (cm / sec) was calculated. Moreover, the measurement was performed from one side of the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer and from both sides of the second long fiber nonwoven fabric layer.
[0045]
In the present invention, if the hydraulic conductivity is less than 0.02 cm / second, the water permeability is too low to drain the water around the roots, and the growth of capillary roots is inhibited or the basic roots are rotted. In some cases, plants may wither, and those having a water permeability coefficient of 0.02 cm / second or more were judged to have good water permeability.
(7) Seedling growth state: A cover to be used as a sample is dug in the soil, and a young oak tree that has been grown on the farm in advance is planted in this cover. I dug up and carried it to another land and planted it. Furthermore, after 1 year, soil was dug up again and the growth state of the seedlings was observed and evaluated in the following three stages.
○: The growth state was good.
Δ: The growth state was normal.
X: The growth state was poor.
(8) Biodegradation performance: It is better not to decompose as much as possible for 1-2 years, digging a hole in the soil to cover the sample cover and observing its decomposition status. The following comprehensive evaluation was performed based on the judgment that those with progressing were superior in biodegradability.
○: Biodegradation did not occur for 1 to 2 years, but decomposition was progressing 3 years later, but the strength retention was 20% or more.
Δ: Almost completely decomposed within 1 to 2 years.
X: Non-degradable.
Example 1
When forming the root cover for raising seedlings, a laminated long fiber nonwoven fabric was prepared by a spunbond method.
[0046]
First, in order to form the first long-fiber nonwoven fabric layer, an L-lactic acid / D-lactic acid copolymer (L-lactic acid / D-lactic acid = 98.6) having a melting point of 168 ° C. and an MFR of 70 g / 10 min. /1.4 mol%) was melted and melt spinning was performed using a round spinneret at a spinning temperature of 210 ° C. and a single hole discharge rate of 1.67 g / min. After the spinning yarn is cooled with a cooling air flow, it is subsequently pulled and thinned at a pulling speed of 5000 m / min with an air soccer provided below the spinneret, opened using a known opening machine, and moved on a conveyor. A web was formed by depositing on the collecting surface. Next, the web was passed through a partial thermocompression bonding apparatus composed of a hot embossing roll and a heat flat roll, and both roll temperatures were 135 ° C., the crimping area ratio was 14.9%, and the crimping point density was 21.9 pieces / cm. 2 50 g / m per unit area consisting of long fibers with a single yarn fineness of 3.3 decitex under partial pressure of 588 N / cm 2 The first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer was obtained. Moreover, the shortest distance between adjacent thermocompression bonding parts was 1 mm.
[0047]
Moreover, in order to form a 2nd long fiber nonwoven fabric layer, it spun on the same conditions as the above using the polymer similar to the above, and obtained the web. Next, a temporary press-bonding was performed on the web under the same conditions as described above except that the temperature of both rolls was set to 80 ° C., and the basis weight was 150 g / m made of long fibers having a single yarn fineness of 3.3 dtex. 2 The long fiber web layer was obtained.
[0048]
And the 1st long fiber nonwoven fabric layer and the long fiber web layer are laminated so that the uneven surface by the partial thermocompression bonding part of the 1st long fiber nonwoven fabric layer may become the long fiber web layer side, and the long fiber web layer side More punch density 90 pieces / cm 2 The needle punching process is performed under the above conditions, and the constituent fibers of the long fiber web layer are three-dimensionally entangled, and the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer and the long fiber web layer are integrated by three-dimensional entanglement to obtain a laminated long fiber. A nonwoven fabric was obtained. Hereinafter, the long fiber web layer integrated by the three-dimensional entanglement is referred to as a second long fiber nonwoven fabric layer.
[0049]
Between the upper roll heated to 125 ° C. and the lower roll not heated, the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer is in contact with the upper roll and the second long fiber nonwoven fabric layer is the lower roll. Heat-treated to pass through, with a basis weight of 200 g / m 2 A laminated long fiber nonwoven fabric was obtained.
[0050]
Using the obtained laminated long fiber nonwoven fabric, a root cover for raising seedlings of a cylindrical bag shape having a diameter of 30 cm and a height of 30 cm is sewn so that the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer is outside the root cover. Produced. Then, put the bag-shaped root cover into a hole dug in the soil, and then plant a young oak tree that had been grown on the farm in advance in this cover and let it stand for 2 years, then along the outside of the root cover It was dug up and carried to another land as it was and planted. After another year, the soil was dug up again to observe the state of root cover decomposition and the state of seedling growth.

Moreover, the roll temperature of the embossing roll was 110 degreeC. Other than that, a laminated long fiber nonwoven fabric was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1, and a root cover was prepared using this.
[0057]
Table 1 shows the properties of the obtained laminated long fiber nonwoven fabric and the root cover.
In Examples 1 to 6, since the root cover for raising seedlings was produced with the laminated long fiber nonwoven fabric which is the configuration of the present invention, the air permeability and water permeability were excellent, and the seedlings had good growth conditions. . Moreover, since all of them were biodegradable, it was not necessary to remove the root cover at the time of replanting, and transplantation was possible as it was.
Comparative Example 1
Only the long-fiber nonwoven fabric having a partial thermocompression bonding part was used in place of the laminated long-fiber nonwoven fabric. That is, an L-lactic acid / D-lactic acid copolymer (L-lactic acid / D-lactic acid = 98.6 / 1.4 mol%) having a melting point of 168 ° C. and an MFR of 70 g / 10 min was melted to obtain a round shape The spinneret was used for melt spinning under conditions of a spinning temperature of 210 ° C. and a single hole discharge rate of 1.67 g / min. The shortest distance between adjacent thermocompression bonding parts was 1 mm.
[0058]
A root cover was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 except that this long fiber nonwoven fabric was used.
Table 2 shows the physical properties and the like of the obtained long fiber nonwoven fabric and root cover.
[0059]
[Table 2]
In Comparative Example 1, unlike the configuration of the present invention, the root cover was made of a single-layer long-fiber non-woven fabric having a partial thermocompression bonding portion, and therefore there was a thick root (root winding) in the root cover. The hair roots were hardly seen outside the cover, and the growth of the seedlings was poor.
[0060]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the seedling root cover of the present invention, the constituent fibers are bonded to each other by partial thermocompression bonding, one surface is an uneven surface formed by the partial thermocompression bonding portion, and the other surface is the entire surface heat fusion. The first long-fiber nonwoven fabric layer, which is a heat-bonded surface formed by wearing, and the second long-fiber nonwoven fabric layer in which the constituent fibers are integrated by three-dimensional entanglement, Constitutes the outer surface side of the root cover, the second long fiber nonwoven fabric layer constitutes the inner surface side of the root cover, and the uneven surface of the first long fiber nonwoven fabric layer becomes the second long fiber nonwoven fabric layer side. In this way, since the three-dimensional entanglement is integrated, the roots can be penetrated with an appropriate degree without excess and deficiency, and the void formed by the uneven surface of the first long-fiber nonwoven fabric layer or the first container member. To form callus inside the root cover. Can be, capillary roots extending from the callus it is possible to absorb the soil of nutrients by penetrate the root cover. In addition, when the thermoplastic polymer constituting the seedling root cover is biodegradable, the root cover is eventually decomposed into water and carbon dioxide, so there is no need to remove the root cover when replanting. It can be transplanted as it is.
[0061]
Moreover, instead of setting it as the root cover for raising seedling which consists of the above laminated long fiber nonwoven fabrics, said 2nd above in the inside of the 1st container member comprised similarly to said 1st long fiber nonwoven fabric layer. A root cover for raising seedlings that is fitted with a second container member configured in the same manner as the long-fiber nonwoven fabric layer and integrated by three-dimensional entanglement with the first container member and the second container member is the same as above. An effect is obtained.
