従来のドレンチャー設備は、散水ヘッド、感知ヘッド及び一斉開放弁から構成されている。この従来の設備では、感知ヘッドの作動により一斉開放弁が開放され、散水ヘッドから放水するようになっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この従来のドレンチャー設備は、大流量を制御できるため、大きな開口部などを防護する場合には有効である。しかし一斉開放弁を使用することから、散水ヘッドを備えた放水用の配管と、感知ヘッドを備えた感知用の配管との2つ配管系統が必要となるため、配管の設置作業が複雑となる。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は以上の問題点を解決するためになされたもので、スプリンクラヘッドが接続されたスプリンクラ配管を有する消火設備において、該スプリンクラ配管から分岐して、火災時の熱を受けて開放する感熱開放弁を有するドレンチャ配管を設け、該感熱開放弁の二次側に開放型ヘッドを接続し、その開放型ヘッドを防護区域の開口部の近辺に設置し、
感熱開放弁が開放すると、前記開放型ヘッドから炎を遮断する水幕を作るように放水することを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は本発明の消火設備としてのドレンチャー設備を示した系統図である。このドレンチャー設備は、窓や階段付近の開口部など比較的小さい範囲への延焼拡大の抑制を目的とするもので、水を放水し、水幕を作ることで防火区画を形成し、飛んでくる火の粉や輻射熱を遮断する。

図1において、1は配管2に接続された複数の開放型ヘッドである。開放型ヘッド1は、配管2にライン状に接続されており、放水時に、一斉に放水して水幕を形成する。この開放型ヘッド1は、消防法の規定に従って、例えば2.5m間隔で設置され、防護区域の開口部4の近辺に設置されている。この開放型ヘッド1は、例えば0.1〜1MPaの圧力で、ヘッド1個当たり毎分20L以上で放水するものが使用される。

5は感熱開放弁で、火災時の熱を受けて開放するものである。この感熱開放弁5は天井面から凹んだ凹部15内に設けられ、感熱開放弁5は天井面よりほとんど突出しないように設けられる。このような配置方法とすることで、天井面からの露出を抑え、美観を損なわないようにしてある。この凹部15の表面には、金網などの開口を備えたものを設置してもよく、このようにすると、より美観上好ましく、また火災時の熱気流も通過するので問題ない。感熱開放弁5としては、例えば特開平10−268694号で示されるようなものがあり、スプリンクラヘッドと同様な感熱部を有する。この感熱開放弁5の二次側には、配管2を介して開放型ヘッド1が接続される。尚、開放型ヘッド1も天井面から凹んだ凹部内に設けるようにしてもよい。

ところで、後述するスプリンクラ配管6を延長して、開口部4付近にスプリンクラヘッド7を設置して、開口部4近辺を防護することも可能であるが、このような設置方式の場合、開口部4の直ぐ近くで火災が発生しないと、開口部4近辺に対してスプリンクラヘッド1から放水されないので、開口部4付近を十分に防護することができない。

そこで本実施形態では、感熱開放弁5は、開口部4からある程度、距離を離して設置され、その感熱開放弁5と開口部4の間には、複数の開放型ヘッド1が設置され、感熱開放弁5と開口部4間の距離を防護するようにしてある。このような設置方式の場合、図中、左側方向から右側へ火災が進展してくると、その火災が開口部4に達する前に、感熱開放弁5で火災をとらえることができるので、開口部4近辺を十分に防護することが可能となる。

開放型ヘッド1の設置方式としては、開口部4に沿って横に並べて設置することも可能であるし、また開口部4にまたがって設置するようにしてもよい。

6はスプリンクラヘッド7が接続されたスプリンクラ配管である。8はドレンチャ配管で、スプリンクラ配管6から分岐して設けられる。ドレンチャ配管8は、感熱開放弁5を有する配管として構成されている。

これらスプリンクラ配管6及びドレンチャ配管8の基端側には、共通の加圧送水装置10が設けられ、その配管11の途中には、アラーム弁12が設けられている。加圧送水装置10は水槽やポンプから構成され、配管11,スプリンクラ配管6及びドレンチャ配管8内には、常時、水が加圧充水された状態となっている。

このようなドレンチャー設備が設置されている防護区域において、火災が発生する場合について説明する。例えば図中、左側方向から開口部4の付近へ火災が進展してきたとすると、まず感熱開放弁5が火災の熱を受けて開放する。このため感熱開放弁5の一次側まできていた水が、開放型ヘッド1から放水される。そうすると、ドレンチャ配管8及び配管11内が減圧して、アラーム弁12が図示しない制御盤に流水信号を出力する。また配管11内の減圧に伴い、加圧送水装置10が起動され、水槽の水をドレンチャ配管8を介して開放型ヘッド1へ供給する。この時、配管2には、複数の開放型ヘッド1が接続されているので、開口部4全体にわたって、開放型ヘッド1から水が放水され、水幕を作り炎を遮断する防火区画を形成する。これにより開口部4近辺を火災から防護することができ、開口部4の内側(図の右側)を避難通路として使用する場合には、避難通路を火災から守ることができる。

この設備にあっては、放水用の配管と感知用の配管とを分けて設置する必要がないので、配管を簡略化することができ、配管の敷設作業が容易となる。またスプリンクラ配管6から配管を分岐させ、加圧装置装置10を、スプリンクラ設備とドレンチャ設備とで共用しているので、設備のコストを削減することが可能となる。

以上説明した本実施形態の消火設備において、例えば、スプリンクラヘッド7は、室内に設けられ、その室内の開口部(出入口)に開放型ヘッド1が設けられる。このように設置することで、室内で発生した火災をスプリンクラヘッド7で消火することが出来ると共に、入口付近を開放型ヘッド1で放水することで、火災が他の場所(部屋、階段室)へ広がるのを阻止することができる。

なお、このような消火設備を手動で起動できるようにすることも可能である。この場合には、スプリンクラ配管6から分岐して配管を設け、その配管に、常時は閉じた手動起動弁を設ける。そしてその起動弁の二次側を開放型ヘッド1が接続される配管、つまり感熱開放弁5の二次側に接続すればよい。

本発明は以上のように構成されるので、安価で配管を簡略化したドレンチャ設備を構築でき、特に、部分的な開口部を備えた場所にスポット的に設置することが可能である。
