【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、排泄物を吸収、保持する使い捨ておむつに関する。

【従来の技術】
特開平８−１９６５６５号公報は、透液性表面シートと、不透液性裏面シートと、それらシートの間に介在する吸液性コアとを有し、コアが上層コアと下層コアとからなる使い捨ておむつを開示している。上層コアは、前胴周り域から股下域へ向かって延びる前部コアと、後胴周り域から股下域に向かって延びる後部コアとから形成されている。このおむつでは、前部コアの後端部と後部コアの前端部とが股下域において縦方向へ所与寸法離間し、上層コアの上面を被覆する表面シートが前部コアの後端部と後部コアの前端部とにおいて下層コアの側へ向かって折曲されるとともに、表面シートが上下層コアの間に折り込まれている。

このおむつでは、前部コアと下層コアとの間に前胴周り域から股下域へ向かって開口するポケットが形成され、後部コアと下層コアとの間に後胴周り域から股下域へ向かって開口するポケットが形成される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
同号公報に開示のおむつは、前後部コアの前後端部と下層コアとを互いに離間させるための手段を備えておらず、前後部コアと下層コアとの間に大便を収容し得る空間を形成することが難しい。このおむつでは、ポケットが口を開けて前後部コアと下層コアとの間にわずかな空間が形成されたとしても、表面シートの側からおむつの厚み方向下方へ向かって着用者の体圧がかかると、空間が潰れてポケットがその口を閉じてしまう。このおむつでは、ポケットが口を閉じると、そこに大便を収容することができず、大便が前後部コア上を流動、拡散し、大便が着用者の肌に広範囲に付着してしまう場合がある。

本発明の課題は、簡単に閉じることがない大便収容空間を形成し、そこに大便を収容することで着用者の肌に対する大便の付着を防ぐことができる使い捨ておむつを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記課題を解決するための本発明の前提は、縦方向および横方向と、前後胴周り域およびそれら胴周り域の間に位置する股下域と、透液性の肌対向面および不透液性の肌非対向面の間に吸液性の第１コアとを有する液吸収性第１パネルと、前記第１パネルの肌対向面に重なって前記前胴周り域から前記股下域へ向かって延び、透液性の肌対向面および透液性の肌非対向面の間に吸液性の第２コアを有する液吸収性第２パネルとから構成された使い捨ておむつである。

かかる前提における本発明の特徴は、前記第１及び第２コアの両側部の外側近傍で前記縦方向へ延びる固定縁部と、前記第１及び第２パネルの上方へ起立性向を有して前記縦方向へ延び弾性伸縮化された自由縁部と、前記前後胴周り域に位置して前記横方向の内方へ倒伏した固定両端部とを有する一対の防漏シートを備え、前記第１パネルの肌対向面から厚み方向へ凹む凹部が、前記第１パネルの前記横方向の中央部に形成されて前記第１パネルの前端近傍における前記前胴周り域の部位と前記股下域の中間部位との間に延びて、前記第２パネルが、前記第１パネルの肌対向面に重なって前記胴周り域の前記部位と前記股下域の前記中間部位との間における前記凹部の頂部開口を塞ぎ、前記股下域の前記中間部位から前記前胴周り域の前記部位ヘ向かって延びる第１大便収容空間が、前記第２パネルと前記凹部との間に形成され、前記凹部の頂部開口の一部が露出して前記第１大便収容空間につながる大便進入口が、前記股下域に形成されていることにある。

本発明の実施の態様の一例としては、前記凹部がさらに前記股下域の前記中間部位と前記第１パネルの後端部近傍における前記後胴周り域の部位との間に延び、前記後胴周り域の後端部近傍と前記股下域の前記中間部位との間に延びて、透液性の肌対向面および透液性の肌非対向面の間に吸液性の第３コアを有する液吸収性第３パネルが、前記第１パネルの肌対向面に重なって前記後胴周り域の前記部位と前記股下域の前記中間部位との間における前記凹部の頂部開口を塞ぎ、前記股下域から前記前胴周り域ヘ向かって延びる第２大便収容空間が、前記第３パネルと前記凹部との間に形成され、前記凹部の頂部開口の一部が露出して前記第２大便収容空間につながる前記大便進入口が、前記股下域における前記第２パネルと前記第３パネルとの間に形成されている。

本発明の実施の態様の他の一例としては、前記凹部の深さと略同一の高さを有して該凹部の底から上方へ隆起する多数の壁部が、前記横方向へ所与寸法離間して前記第１パネルの肌対向面を前記縦方向へ延び、前記凹部が、前記壁部によって前記横方向へ分割されている。

【発明の実施の形態】
添付の図面を参照し、本発明にかかる使い捨ておむつの詳細を開放型のおむつを例として説明すると、以下のとおりである。

おむつ１Ａは、肌対向面Ｓ１および肌非対向面Ｓ２を有する液吸収性第１パネルＰ１と、肌対向面Ｓ３および肌非対向面Ｓ４を有する液吸収性第２パネルＰ２とから構成されている。

第１パネルＰ１は、肌対向面Ｓ１に位置する透液性表面シート２（透液性シート）と、肌非対向面Ｓ２に位置する不透液性裏面シート３（不透液性シート）と、表裏面シート２，３の間に介在してそれらシート２，３に固着された吸液性第１コア４と、実質的に不透液性の防漏シート５とから形成されている。第１パネルＰ１は、表面シート２に被覆された肌対向面Ｓ１が透液性を有し、裏面シート３に被覆された肌非対向面Ｓ２が不透液性を有する。第１パネルＰ１は、縦方向に前胴周り域６および後胴周り域８と、それら胴周り域６，８の間に位置する股下域７とを有する。コア４は、股下域７から前後胴周り域６，８へ向かって延びている。コア４は、前後胴周り域６，８を横方向へ延びる前後端部４ａ，４ｂと、縦方向へ延びる両側部４ｃとを有する。

第１パネルＰ１は、コア４の前後端部４ａ，４ｂの外側を横方向へ延びる一対のエンドフラップ９と、コア４の両側部４ｃの外側を縦方向へ延びる一対のサイドフラップ１０とを有する。第１パネルＰ１では、サイドフラップ１０が股下域７においてパネルＰ１の横方向内方へ向かって弧を画いている。第１パネルＰ１は、その平面形状が実質的に砂時計型を呈する。

コア１７は、前胴周り域６を横方向へ延びる前端部１７ａと、股下域７を横方向へ延びる後端部１７ｂと、縦方向へ延びる両側部１７ｃとを有する。透液性シート１６は、コア１７の後端部１７ｂにおいて肌対向面Ｓ３から肌非対向面Ｓ４に向かって折曲され、エンドフラップ９に向かって延びている。第１および第２パネルＰ１，Ｐ２を形成するコア４，１７は、それらコア４，１７の前端部４ａ，１７ａと両側部４ｃ，１７ｃとが表面シート２と透液性シート１６とを介して固着されている。

おむつ１Ａでは、第２パネルＰ２が前胴周り域６に延びる凹部１５の頂部開口１５ｃを塞ぐとともに、股下域７に延びる凹部１５の頂部開口１５ｃの一部を塞いでいる。おむつ１Ａには、第２パネルＰ２の肌非対向面Ｓ４と第１パネルＰ１の凹部１５の底面１５ａおよび側面１５ｂとに囲繞された第１大便収容空間１８が形成されている。空間１８は、股下域７から前胴周り域６へ向かって延びている。おむつ１Ａの股下域７では、凹部１５の頂部開口１５ｃの一部が第２パネルＰ２に塞がれておらず、頂部開口１５ｃが露出している。股下域７には、空間１８につながる大便進入口１９が形成されている。

防漏シート５は、サイドフラップ１０に位置して縦方向へ延びている。防漏シート５は、コア４，１７の両側部４ｃ，１７ｃの両側部を縦方向へ延びる固定縁部５ａと、第１および第２パネルＰ１，Ｐ２の上方へ起立性向を有して縦方向へ延びる自由縁部５ｂと、前後胴周り域６，８に位置して第１パネルＰ１，第２パネルＰ２の横方向内方へ倒伏した固定両端部５ｃとを有する。防漏シート５では、固定縁部５ａがサイドフラップ１０に固着され、固定両端部５ｃがエンドフラップ９に固着されている。防漏シート５では、固定縁部５ａから横方向外方へ側部５ｄが延びている。自由縁部５ｂには、縦方向へ延びる弾性部材２０が伸長状態で取り付けられている。弾性部材２０は、自由縁部５ｂの一部に被覆され、自由縁部５ｂを弾性伸縮化している。

エンドフラップ９では、図２に示すように、表面シート２の端部２ａと裏面シート３の端部３ａとがコア４の前後端部４ａ，４ｂから縦方向外方へ延び、それら端部２ａ，３ａの互いに重なり合う部分が固着されている。コア４の前端部４ａから縦方向外方へ延びる透液性シート１６の端部１６ａは、互いに重なり合う部分が固着され、さらに、表面シート２の端部２ａに固着されている。防漏シート５の固定両端部５ｃは、透液性シート１６の端部１６ａに固着されている。胴周り用弾性部材１１は、表面シート２の端部２ａと裏面シート３の端部３ａとの間に介在し、それら端部２ａ，３ａに固着されている。

サイドフラップ１０では、図３に示すように、表面シート２の側部２ｂがコア４の両側部４ｃから横方向外方へわずかに延び、表面シート２の側部２ｂからさらに横方向外方へ裏面シート３の側部３ｂと防漏シート５の側部５ｄとが延びている。側部２ｂは、側部３ｂと側部５ｄとの間に介在し、それら側部３ｂ，５ｄに固着されている。側部３ｂと側部５ｄとは、それら側部３ｂ，５ｄの互いに重なり合う部分が固着されている。

コア１７の両側部１７ｃから横方向外方へ延びる透液性シート１６の側部１６ｂは、互いに重なり合う部分が固着され、さらに、表面シート２の側部２ｂと防漏シート５の固定縁部５ａとの間に介在し、側部２ｂと固定縁部５ａとに固着されている。脚周り用弾性部材１２は、裏面シート３の側部３ｂと防漏シート５の側部５ｄとの間に介在し、それら側部３ｂ，５ｄに固着されている。

おむつ１Ａを着用するには、後胴周り域８のサイドフラップ１０を前胴周り域６のサイドフラップ１０の外側に重ね合わせ、粘着剤を介してテープファスナ１３の自由端部をターゲットテープ１４に止着し、前胴周り域６と後胴周り域８とを連結する。前後胴周り域６，８が連結されたおむつ１Ａには、図４に示すように、胴周り開口２１と、脚周り開口２２とが形成される。

おむつ１Ａでは、第２パネルＰ２の肌対向面Ｓ３の側からおむつ１Ａの厚み方向下方へ向かって着用者の体圧がかかり、空間１８がわずかに潰れたとしても、空間１８が完全に閉じてしまうことはない。おむつ１Ａでは、股下域７に多量の軟便や水様便が排泄され、それら大便が表面シート２上を拡散して前胴周り域６に向かって流動したとしても、それら大便が大便進入口１９から空間１８に収容される。おむつ１Ａでは、それら大便が第２パネルＰ２の肌対向面Ｓ３を流動、拡散することはないので、前胴周り域６において着用者の肌に対する大便の付着を確実に防ぐことができる。それら大便は、空間１８に収容された後、水分がコア４とコア１７とに吸収され、固形分が空間１８に保持される。

おむつ１Ａでは、それが第２パネルＰ２を内側にして縦方向へ湾曲すると、弾性部材２０が収縮して防漏シート５の自由縁部５ｂが第１パネルＰ１の肌対向面Ｓ１の上方へ起立する。前胴周り域６では、防漏シート５の自由縁部５ｂが第２パネルＰ２の肌対向面Ｓ３の上方へ起立する。おむつ１Ａでは、起立した防漏シート５の自由縁部５ｂが排泄物に対する障壁を形成し、サイドフラップ１０からの排泄物の漏れを防ぐことができる。

おむつ１Ｂでは、第３パネルＰ３が後胴周り域８に延びる凹部１５の頂部開口１５ｃを塞ぐとともに、股下域７に延びる凹部１５の頂部開口１５ｃの一部を塞いでいる。おむつ１Ｂには、第１大便収容空間１８の他に、第３パネルＰ３の肌非対向面Ｓ６と凹部１５の底面１５ａおよび側面１５ｂとに囲繞された第２大便収容空間２６が形成されている。空間２６は、股下域７から後胴周り域８へ向かって延びている。おむつ１Ｂの股下域７では、凹部１５の頂部開口１５ｃの一部が第２パネルＰ２と第３パネルＰ３とに塞がれておらず、第２パネルＰ２と第３パネルＰ３との間で凹部１５の頂部開口１５ｃが露出している。股下域７には、それら空間１８，２６につながる大便進入口１９が形成されている。

コア２４の後端部２４ｂから縦方向外方へ延びる透液性シート２３の端部２３ａは、図６に示すように、互いに重なり合う部分が固着され、さらに、表面シート２の端部２ａに固着されている。防漏シート５の固定両端部５ｃは、透液性シート２３の端部２３ａに固着されている。コア２４の両側部２４ｃから横方向外方へ延びる透液性シート２３の側部２３ｂは、図７に示すように、互いに重なり合う部分が固着され、さらに、表面シート２の側部２ｂと防漏シート５の固定縁部５ａとの間に介在し、側部２ｂと固定縁部５ａとに固着されている。

おむつ１Ｂでは、大便が表面シート２上を拡散して前後胴周り域６，８に向かって流動したとしても、大便が大便進入口１９から空間１８と空間２６とに収容される。おむつ１Ｂでは、大便が第２および第３パネルｐ２，ｐ３の肌対向面Ｓ３，Ｓ５を流動、拡散することはないので、前後胴周り域６，８において着用者の肌に対する大便の付着を確実に防ぐことができる。

おむつ１Ｂの股下域７では、第１パネルＰ１の凹部１５に多数の壁部２５が形成されているので、壁部２５が大便に対する障壁となり、大便の横方向への流動を防ぐことができる。おむつ１Ｂでは、着用者の体圧が第２および第３パネルＰ２，Ｐ３の肌対向面Ｓ３，Ｓ５からおむつ１Ｂの厚み方向下方にかかったとしても、第２および第３パネルＰ２，Ｐ３が股下域７に延びる壁部２５に重なったおり、着用者の体圧を壁部２５が支えるので、図１のおむつ１Ｂよりも空間１８，２６が潰れ難い。

このおむつ１Ｃでは、第１パネルＰ１を形成するコア４と第２パネルＰ２を形成するコア１７とが表面シート２と裏面シート３との間に介在している。表面シート２は、コア１７の後端部１７ｂにおいて第２パネルＰ２の肌対向面Ｓ３から肌非対向面Ｓ４の側へ向かって折曲され、かつ、第１パネルＰ１の肌対向面Ｓ１と第２パネルＰ２の肌非対向面Ｓ４との間に折り込まれている。

おむつ１Ｃでは、第２パネルＰ２の肌対向面Ｓ３が表面シート２に被覆され、端部４ａ，１７ａを除く第１パネルＰ１の肌対向面Ｓ１と第２パネルＰ２の肌非対向面Ｓ４とが表面シート２に被覆されている。表面シート２は、それら面Ｓ１，Ｓ３，Ｓ４に固着されている。第１パネルＰ１と第２パネルＰ２との間に介在する表面シート２は、第２パネルＰ２の肌非対向面Ｓ４に密着するとともに、凹部１５の底面１５ａと側面１５ｂとに密着している。

このおむつ１Ｃには、図１のそれと同様に、第２パネルＰ２の肌非対向面Ｓ４と凹部１５の底面１５ａおよび側面１５ｂとに囲繞された第１大便収容空間１８が形成されている。空間１８は、股下域７から前胴周り域６へ向かって延びている。おむつ１Ｃの股下域７では、凹部１５の頂部開口１５ｃの一部が第２パネルＰ２に塞がれておらず、頂部開口１５ｃが露出している。股下域７には、空間１８につながる大便進入口１９が形成されている。

表面シート２と透液性シート１６，２３とには、親水性繊維不織布、微細な多数の開孔を有するプラスチックフィルムのいずれかを使用することができる。裏面シート３には、疎水性繊維不織布、不透液性のプラスチックフィルム、疎水性繊維不織布を重ね合わせた複合不織布、疎水性繊維不織布とプラスチックフィルムとを重ね合わせた複合シートのいずれかを使用することができる。防漏シート５には、疎水性繊維不織布を使用することができる。

裏面シート３や防漏シート５には、高い耐水性を有するメルトブローン法による繊維不織布の両面を、高い強度を有しかつ柔軟性に富んだスパンボンド法による繊維不織布で挟んだ複合不織布を使用することもできる。

不織布としては、スパンレース、ニードルパンチ、メルトブローン、サーマルボンド、スパンボンド、ケミカルボンド、エアースルー、の各製法により製造されたものを使用することができる。不織布の構成繊維としては、ポリオレフィン系、ポリエステル系、ポリアミド系、の各繊維、ポリエチレン／ポリプロピレン、または、ポリエチレン／ポリエステルからなる芯鞘型複合繊維またはサイドバイサイド型複合繊維を使用することができる。

第１〜第３パネルＰ１，Ｐ２，Ｐ３を形成するコア４，１７，２４は、フラッフパルプと高吸収性ポリマー粒子との混合物、または、フラッフパルプと高吸収性ポリマー粒子と熱可塑性合成樹脂繊維との混合物であり、所与厚みに圧縮されている。それらコア４，１７，２４は、ポリマー粒子の脱落や型崩れを防止するため、その全体がティッシュペーパーや親水性繊維不織布等の透液性シートに被覆されていることが好ましい。ポリマー粒子としては、デンプン系、セルロース系、合成ポリマー系のものを使用することができる。
