本発明は、エンコーダ付きモータとエンコーダ付きモータを駆動する制御装置の組合わせが変わったことを検出するためのエンコーダ付きモータに関する。

【従来の技術】
たとえば、特開昭63−190584に開示されているような技術を図3において説明する。
1、4はマイクロコンピュータ、2はラインドライバ、3はラインレシーバ、5はROM、6はサーボモータである。7は制御装置、8はサーボモータ6に接続されたエンコーダである。9はEEROMである。制御装置7がサーボモータ6に新たに接続されたときはROM5に記憶されている各モータ固有の情報を制御装置に送ることによりマイクロコンピュータ1にこの情報を読み込ませ、速度および位置制御装置に必要なパラメータの初期設定を自動的に行うことを可能にしたものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、このような従来技術では、モータ固有の情報は同一機種、同一定格では同じ内容であり、モータが交換されたときは制御装置側で検出できず、しかも、同一機種、同一定格のモータでも固有の特性(抵抗、インダクタンスなど)が異なる場合には、制御装置へ外部からそれらの特性を入力する必要があり、再調整しなければならず、また交換してそのまま使用した場合、所望の特性が出ない、モータが回転しない、振動するという問題があった。
本発明は、モータが交換されれば、交換されたことがわかり、交換に伴いモータ固有の特性を得て、モータをスムーズに運転する制御方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため、エンコーダ部を備えたエンコーダ付きモータにおいて、前記エンコーダ付きモータの位置情報をモータ制御装置に伝送するデータ送信手段と、同一機種内における前記エンコーダ付きモータ個々を特定できる識別情報が記憶された記憶手段と、同一種内におけるモータ交換の有無を識別するための情報として前記識別情報を前記データ送信手段を介して前記モータ制御装置に伝送する伝送処理手段とを備えたことを特徴としている。

【作用】
上記手段により、モータは交換すると分かり、モータの特性を得られるのでモータに合った厳密な調整が出来る。そして、特性が異なる場合の不具合を未然に防ぐことができる。

【実施例】
以下、本発明の具体的実施例を図1に示して説明する。
図1において、10はモータの識別コード(ID)、モータ特有のパラメータ等を記憶するEEROMである。その他は、図3と同じであるので、説明は省略する。
以上のように構成された回路についてその動作を説明する。図2は本発明の動作を説明する図である。
まず、エンコーダ8は通常モータの位置をシリアル伝送又はパルス等により、制御装置7へ伝送する。制御装置7の電源投入時(ステップ1)は、制御装置側のラインドライバエンコーダ側のラインレシーバ3を介したシリアル伝送にてエンコーダ8のマイクロコンピュータ4にモータ識別コード(ID)を問い合せる。これによる返答と元々制御装置7の得ている識別コード(ID)が合致している時は、モータは以前と変化していないので、制御装置7のEEROM9に得ているデータ等より、モータを制御することができる(ステップ2)。
しかし制御装置7の得ている識別コード(ID)と異なっている場合、制御装置7の識別コード(ID)を交換後のモータのものに書き換え(ステップ3)、モータ特有のデータ(たとえば巻線抵抗やインダクタンス)、パラメータ(たとえばオフセット値や巻線抵抗の温度係数等)をエンコーダ8より得て、あるいは測定して、そのまままたは加工したデータにてEEROM9へ書き込む(ステップ4)。これにより次回以降電源を投入してこのモータ以外になったときでも上記のようにモータを制御することができる。
識別コードは例えばモータごとの追番号でもかまわない。
また、エンコーダ8のEEROM10はROMとして制御装置7のEEROM9の書き換えだけでもかまわない。さらにEEROMはバックアップされたRAMであってもかまわない。

以上述べたように、本発明によれば、モータを交換したことが分かるので、モータの特性等を得られ、再度調整したり、外部からの入力なしにモータに合った厳密な調整が出来るので特性が異なる場合等による不具合を未然に防止することができる。

同一種内におけるモータ交換の有無を識別するための情報として前記識別情報を前記データ送信手段を介して前記モータ制御装置に伝送する伝送処理手段とを備えたことを特徴とするエンコーダ付きモータ。
