【0016】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention shows an excellent light-transmitting property when the recorded image is clear, particularly when the glossiness is high, and the substrate has a light-transmitting property, and further, an ink receiving layer comprising an ink absorbing layer and a pigment ink fixing layer. The present invention relates to a recording sheet having excellent layer fixability.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The ink jet recording system is used in various printers and the like and has been rapidly spreading in recent years because it has low noise, does not require a process for development and fixing, and can easily perform full color recording. In particular, a facsimile machine has recently been developed due to the advantages that a color image is formed by a computer, the recording apparatus can be made relatively small, the maintenance of the apparatus is easy, and the generation of drive sound and recording sound is extremely low. And is used as a recording material for various printers.
[0003]
And by improving the performance of inkjet printers using water-based inks, such as printing speed and resolution, high-speed absorptivity and high absorption capacity for regular recording sheets, regular ink dot diameter, etc. So-called coated paper in which an ink receiving layer is provided on a substrate has been developed.
[0004]
Further, in order to obtain a recorded image comparable to a silver salt type color photograph which is a photosensitive substance, in addition to the above required performance, it is desired that the surface is glossy and the whiteness is high. Furthermore, high translucency is required for a recording sheet on which a recorded image is projected onto a screen by an optical device such as a slide or an OHP (overhead projector).
[0005]
Conventionally, a recording sheet provided with an ink receiving layer made of a water-soluble resin such as polyvinyl alcohol or polyvinyl pyrrolidone is known as a recording sheet having good ink absorbability and high glossiness. However, in such a recording sheet, when the absorbability of the ink receiving layer is increased, a phenomenon that the pigment ink is cracked when dried is caused to remarkably deteriorate the print quality. Also, when the pigment ink is combined with the absorptivity, the drying property is deteriorated and high-speed printing at a practical level cannot be performed.
[0006]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-124330 proposes using an alumina sol as a pigment as an ink receiving layer having good ink absorbability. However, the ink-receptive layer using such a pigment is excellent in the dye ink absorbency, but it cannot be sufficiently fixed in the pigment ink with enhanced permeability on the premise of high-speed printing, and it is rubbed off or rapidly dried. There is a drawback that prints are cracked.
[0007]
In addition, in order to obtain a recording sheet with high surface gloss and excellent translucency, a transparent ink receiving layer must be provided as much as possible. Further, in order to obtain water resistance, if the ink receiving layer is insolubilized, coated paper or plain paper Therefore, there is a drawback in that the portion where the amount of ink is large cannot absorb ink, and the density unevenness and the mixed color portion of different colors cause boundary bleeding.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, in glossy paper that forms a glossy image on the surface, and in slides and OHP recording sheets excellent in translucency, the dye ink has higher absorbency and higher absorption amount. The pigment ink is required to have sufficient fixability.
[0009]
Therefore, the problem to be solved by the present invention is to have high ink absorbability and ink absorption capacity, particularly high glossiness and high translucency when the substrate is translucent, An object of the present invention is to provide a recording sheet having excellent fixability.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made for the purpose of solving the above-mentioned problems, and the structure thereof is provided with an adhesive layer composed of a polyester resin and silica on at least one surface on a base material, and a hydrophilic resin is provided on the surface of the adhesive layer. polyvinyl alcohol partially saponified as the main component, and by a cationic dye fixing agent and inorganic or organic pigments to form a composed dye ink absorbing layer on the surface of the dye ink absorbing layer, the completely saponified as the hydrophilic resin This is a recording sheet provided with a pigment ink fixing layer composed mainly of polyvinyl alcohol and comprising a cationic dye fixing agent and an inorganic or organic pigment .
[0011]
That is, as a result of earnest research for the purpose of solving the above problems, the dye ink absorption layer having good ink absorbability and drying property of the dye ink is mainly composed of a partially saponified water-soluble or hydrophilic resin, and It is composed of a cationic dye fixing agent and an inorganic or organic pigment.
In addition, the dye ink absorbing layer having good ink absorbability and drying property of the dye ink is mainly composed of a partially saponified water-soluble or hydrophilic resin, and includes a cationic dye fixing agent, a melamine water-resistant agent, and an inorganic or organic resin. Consists of pigments.
[0012]
Furthermore, it has been found that the pigment ink fixing layer is effective to make the fully saponified polyvinyl alcohol 50% or more as a water-soluble or hydrophilic resin.
That is, the present inventors have found that a recording sheet satisfying the printing quality for dye ink and pigment ink can be obtained by controlling the ink absorption speed of the two layers, thereby completing the present invention.
[0013]
As described above, the pigment ink fixing layer having good fixability of the pigment ink is composed mainly of completely saponified polyvinyl alcohol as a hydrophilic resin, and is composed of a cationic dye fixing agent and an inorganic or organic pigment.
The pigment ink fixing layer having good fixability of the pigment ink is composed mainly of a completely saponified polyvinyl alcohol as a hydrophilic resin, and is composed of a cationic dye fixing agent, a melamine water resistant agent and an inorganic or organic pigment. .
[0014]
The dye ink absorption layer having an effect on the fixing property and drying property of the dye ink is such that partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol is 50% or more of the total resin as a hydrophilic resin as a main component.
[0015]
In the present invention, methoxymethylated melamine, melamine-formaldehyde resin, melamine resin acid colloid, etc. are used as the melamine water-proofing agent. By containing a melamine water-resistant agent, the dye ink absorption layer and the pigment ink fixing layer constituting the ink receiving layer suppress the swelling of the layer due to the solvent component of the ink during ink absorption, and water resistance during and after drying. A good printing sheet can be obtained.
