Description

【0001】
Rc/s=Rc/Rs・・・(1)
ここで
Rs=rs×((Df−Dc)/Df)
Rc=rc×(Dc/Df)
rc=Rf×rs/(rs−Rf) ・・・(3)
【0012】
【0019】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a seascore-type cigarette filter excellent in design and a cigarette with the filter.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Various proposals have been made for seascore type tobacco filters. For example, JP-A-8-191682 discloses a ventilation resistance ratio between a core part and a sheath part, and the cigarette smoke density after passing through the core part is larger than the cigarette smoke density after passing through the sheath part. However, there is a seascore type cigarette filter that allows a smoker to feel a sufficient amount of smoke and a savory taste even though the amount of smoke sucked into the mouth is substantially small. A filter with an irregular cross section has also been proposed.
However, this seascore-type cigarette filter is discolored because the smoke smoke particle component adheres to the entire filter on the suction side and discolors, so the boundary between the core part and the sheath part becomes unclear. It was inferior in the design property by a shape.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to solve such problems in the prior art, and to provide a seascore-type tobacco filter that maintains the desired smoking effect and is excellent in design, and a tobacco with the filter. It is in.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The first gist of the present invention is a seascore type filter comprising a core part and a sheath part surrounding the core part, wherein the core part is obtained by thermoforming cellulose acetate tow, and the sheath part is cellulose. The seascore type tobacco filter is made of acetate tow, and the ratio of the converted ventilation resistance of the core part to the sheath part is 4 or more, and no means for introducing ventilation air from the side of the filter is provided.
The second gist of the present invention is a seascore type filter comprising a core part and a sheath part surrounding the core part, wherein the core part is obtained by thermoforming cellulose acetate tow, The seascore type tobacco filter is composed of cellulose acetate tow, and the ratio of the converted airflow resistance of the core portion to the sheath portion is 5 or more, and means for introducing ventilation air from the filter side surface is provided.
Furthermore, the third gist of the present invention resides in a cigarette with a filter having the seascore type cigarette filter.
[0005]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described.
A preferred example of the filter of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 1 is a cross-sectional view cut in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction, and FIG. 2 is a side cross-sectional view cut in parallel to the axial direction. A filter 11 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a cylindrical structure, a core portion 12a having a triangular cross section, a sheath portion 12b surrounding the core portion 12a, and a winding paper 13 wound around the outer periphery of the sheath portion 12b. And air-impermeable chip paper 14 wound on the web 13.
[0006]
The web 13 keeps the shape of the filter 11 stable, and has the same length in the axial direction as the core 12a and the sheath 12b. On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 2, the tip paper 14 is longer in the axial direction than the web 13, the core portion 12a, and the sheath portion 12b. One end portion of the chip paper 14 is aligned with the end portion of the filter chip in which the web 13, the core portion 12 a, and the sheath portion 12 b are integrated, and the other end portion is a cigarette body (cigarette winding portion) 15. The filter 11 is integrated with the cigarette body 15 to constitute a cigarette.
[0007]
In this example, it is necessary that the ratio of the converted ventilation resistance of the core portion 12a to the sheath portion 12b constituting the filter 11 is larger than 4 in a state where the means for introducing the ventilation air from the side surface of the filter is not provided. By making the ratio of the converted ventilation resistance larger than 4, most of the cigarette smoke is supplied to the smoker's mouth through the sheath portion 12b during smoking.
[0008]
For this reason, although the sheath part 12b discolors by adhesion of the particle component in tobacco smoke, the core part 12a hardly passes tobacco smoke, and no color spot or discoloration occurs due to the attachment of the tobacco smoke particle component. The shape of the core portion 12a that has not changed color is clearly expressed in the sheath portion 12b that has been discolored by cigarette smoke, and an appearance that is excellent in design is obtained.
When the ratio of the converted ventilation resistance of the core portion 12a to the sheath portion 12b is 4 or less, the amount of cigarette smoke passing through the core portion 12a during smoking increases, and a part of the core portion 12a due to adhesion of the particle component in the tobacco smoke, Or the whole color changes, the boundary of a sheath part and a core part becomes unclear, and design property is impaired.
[0009]
The converted airflow resistance ratio of the core portion to the sheath portion in the seascore type cigarette filter of the present invention represents the ratio of the airflow resistance obtained by converting the airflow resistance of the sheath portion and the core portion into the same cross-sectional area. When the ratio of the converted airflow resistance of the core portion to the sheath portion is greater than 1, cigarette smoke that passes through the filter during smoking becomes easier to flow through the sheath portion than the core portion.
[0010]
This converted airflow resistance ratio (Rc / s) is the airflow resistance value (Rf) of the entire filter and the airflow resistance value of the sheath portion measured by filling the core portion with an air-impermeable resin having the same cross-sectional shape as the core ( rs) from the following equation (1).
Rc / s = Rc / Rs (1)
Where Rs = rs × ((Df−Dc) / Df)
Rc = rc × (Dc / Df)
However,
Rc: Equivalent ventilation resistance of core part (mmH 2 O)
Rs: Equivalent ventilation resistance of the sheath part (mmH 2 O)
Rf: Filter ventilation resistance (actual measured value) (mmH 2 O)
rs: Ventilation resistance of sheath part (actual value) (mmH 2 O)
Dc: sectional area of the core (mm 2 )
Df: sectional area of the filter (mm 2 )
rc: Ventilation resistance of core (calculated value) (mmH 2 O)
[0011]
Note that the ventilation resistance value (rc) of the core portion is derived from the following equation (2) by taking the ventilation resistance of the entire filter as a parallel resistance model composed of the resistance of the core portion and the sheath portion. This is obtained from equation (3) derived by deformation.
1 / Rf = 1 / rc + 1 / rs (2)
rc = Rf × rs / (rs−Rf) (3)
[0012]
3 and 4 show other examples of the seascore type tobacco filter of the present invention provided with means for introducing dilution air from the side of the filter. 3 is a cross-sectional view cut in a direction orthogonal to the axial direction, and FIG. 4 is a side cross-sectional view cut in parallel to the axial direction. The filter 21 is wound around the core portion 22a having a star-shaped cross section, a sheath portion 22b surrounding the core portion 22a, a breathable winding paper 23 wound around the outer periphery of the sheath portion 22b, and the winding paper 23. The chip paper 24 is roughly constituted by an opening for introducing dilution air.
[0013]
In a state where ventilation air is introduced from the side of the filter, the ratio of tobacco smoke that passes near the center of the filter cross section tends to increase during smoking due to the action of dilution air introduced from the side of the filter. .
Therefore, compared with a filter that does not have a means for introducing dilution air from the side of the filter, the particulate component in the tobacco smoke adheres to the core part due to smoking, and a part or the whole of the core part 22a is discolored to cause color spots on the mouthpiece side. Or easily change to an unfavorable hue.
For this reason, in a filter provided with means for introducing ventilation air from the side of the filter, the ratio of the converted ventilation resistance of the core portion 22a to the sheath portion 22b needs to be larger than 5.
[0014]
In the seascore type tobacco filter of the present invention, the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the core portion in the cross-sectional area of the filter is preferably 10 to 80%, and more preferably 20 to 70%. If the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the core part is less than 10%, the appearance of the cross-section of the filter characterized by the cross-sectional shape of the core part may not be recognized as intentionally imparted to the smoker.
Also, if the ratio of the cross-sectional area of the core in the cross section of the filter exceeds 80%, the passage of tobacco smoke or tobacco smoke and dilution air is remarkably restricted, so the ventilation resistance of the filter increases extremely, and the filtration efficiency Is likely to be extremely low, and it is difficult to obtain the desired smoking effect.
[0015]
Furthermore, in the seascore type tobacco filter of the present invention, the ventilation resistance of the entire filter is preferably 70 to 170 mmH 2 O.
When the ventilation resistance of the entire filter is less than 70 mmH 2 O, the suction resistance when smoking the cigarette becomes low, and it is difficult to obtain the satisfaction of smoking. On the other hand, if the ventilation resistance exceeds 170 mmH 2 O, the suction resistance becomes too high, and it is difficult to suck tobacco smoke.
Moreover, in this invention, it is preferable that both a core part or both a core part and a sheath part are colored. It is possible to obtain various appearances on the suction side of the filter by coloring the core portion or both the core portion and the sheath portion in an arbitrary color, or selecting and using a material of an arbitrary color.
[0016]
At this time, by coloring the core part and the sheath part in the same color, or using the same color material, it is not clear that it is a seascore structure filter before smoking, or it is difficult to understand, but smoking Thus, by comparing the sheath portion colored by the adhesion of the particle component in the tobacco smoke and the non-colored core portion, it is possible to produce an effect due to a change in appearance such that the cross-sectional shape of the core gradually emerges.
In addition, the cross-sectional shapes of the core portions 12a and 22a are preferably a geometrical pattern such as a triangle, a quadrangle, or a star, a numeral, an alphabet, or the like from the viewpoint of improving the design.
[0017]
The filter material forming the sheath part is preferably a long fiber crimped tow, and the filtration efficiency and taste of the particle component is that the long fiber crimped tow being the filter material forming the sheath part is cellulose acetate tow. From this point, it is more preferable.
The filter material forming the core part is preferably a heat-molded long fiber crimped tow, and the long fiber crimped tow that is the filter material forming the core part is preferably cellulose acetate tow. It is further preferable from the point.
[0018]
Furthermore, when composing a cigarette with a filter using the seascore filter, by arranging the seascore filter on the mouthpiece side, a design property excellent in the appearance of the cigarette filter is imparted when smoking.
