Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a weather hood tape for preventing rainwater from entering the inside of a tank from between a floating roof and a tank side plate of a floating roof type outdoor storage tank, a primer for the tape, and the inside of the tank using the tape. It relates to the rainwater intrusion prevention construction method.
Specifically, the weather hood attached to the floating roof in the storage tank during the tank suspension period such as inspection, cleaning, repair, etc., removing the weather seal that seals between the floating roof and the tank side plate Prevents rainwater from entering through the gap between the tank and the side plate of the tank with a weather hood tape, prevents accumulation of rain water into the tank, and facilitates the peeling of the weather hood tape from the tank side plate. It is intended to shorten the period of suspension of use.
[0002]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Conventionally, in a floating roof outdoor storage tank, a weather seal made of urethane rubber or the like is used for the purpose of sealing a gap between the floating roof and the tank side plate. A weather hood is attached to the floating roof for the purpose of protecting the weather seal.
[0003]
However, the weather seal is normally removed during the tank stop period such as inspection, cleaning and repair of the tank. For this reason, a gap is generated between the floating roof and the tank side plate. When it rains, rainwater enters from the gap and the inside of the tank is submerged.
[0004]
To prevent this, it is necessary to cover the gap between the floating roof and the tank side plate. For this purpose, a wide range of commercially available adhesive tapes are used to prevent a rainwater from entering the tank by striking between the tank side plate and the weather hood.
[0005]
However, in this method, the thickness of the adhesive of the commercially available adhesive tape is usually 0.1 mm or less at the maximum, and the adhesive strength is approximately 1 kg / 25 mm width or less (with respect to stainless steel), so that crude oil and sludge adhere to it. In addition to being able to attach easily to tank side plates that are rusted or rusted, there is a risk that even if it can be attached, it may be easily peeled off and blown away due to the wind and rain that blows in. is there.
[0006]
Next, if the adhesive is made extremely thick and the adhesive strength is increased, the above disadvantages can be solved, but if the tank construction is completed and the adhesive tape is to be peeled off, this time On the contrary, the adhesive tape cannot be easily peeled off, and if it is forcibly peeled off, adhesive residue is generated, which causes a disadvantage that extra time, labor and labor are required for this cleaning.
[0007]
The present invention overcomes the above-mentioned drawbacks, and can prevent rainwater from entering the inside of the tank from between the floating roof of the floating roof type outdoor storage tank and the tank side plate during the period when the tank is not used for inspection, cleaning, repair, etc. In addition, an object of the present invention is to obtain a weather hood tape that can easily peel off the weather hood tape from the sticking site after completion of operations such as inspection, cleaning, and repair of the tank, thereby shortening the work time. .
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a weather food tape having a rubber sheet or plastic film substrate and a sealant layer mainly composed of rubber and / or thermoplastic resin on at least one or both sides of the back surface of the substrate. Is attached to a tank side plate that has been previously coated with a primer that has both the prime effect for the tape and the release effect over time, and, if necessary, to a weather hood that is inclined to contact the tank side plate, Take measures to cover the gap between the tank side plate from above.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
1, 2, and 3 are partially broken perspective views showing different embodiments of the weather hood tape of the present invention, wherein 1 is the weather hood tape of the present invention, and 2 is a base material made of a rubber sheet or a plastic film. 2a is one end of the substrate 2, 2b is the other end of the substrate 2, 3 is a sealant layer provided at the end of the back surface of the substrate 2, and 4 is a release paper.
FIG. 4 is a longitudinal sectional view of a floating roof type outdoor storage tank 5 to which the weather food tape 1 of the present invention is attached.
FIG. 5 is a partially enlarged perspective view of the floating roof type outdoor storage tank 5 to which the weather food tape 1 of the present invention is attached, in which 6 is a tank side plate, 6a is a tank side plate position where the weather food tape 1 contacts, and 6b is a weather. A tank side plate position for attaching the food tape 1, 7 is a weather hood, 7 a is a position near the end of the weather hood 7, 8 is a primer, and 9 is a roof plate (floating roof plate).
[0010]
That is, the weather food tape 1 of the present invention comprises a rubber sheet or plastic film base material 2 and a sealant layer 3 mainly composed of rubber and / or thermoplastic resin provided on the back surface of the base material. For example, as shown in FIG. 1, the sealant layer 3 is continuously provided in the longitudinal direction at both end portions 2a and 2b of the back surface of the base material 2, or one of the back surfaces of the base material 2 as shown in FIG. Only the end portion 2a is continuously provided in the longitudinal direction, or as shown in FIG. 3, the one end portion 2a of the back surface of the base material 2 is continuously continuous in the longitudinal direction and the other end portion 2b is longitudinally provided. Has a shape provided intermittently.
[0011]
Here, the rubber sheet used for the substrate 2 is natural rubber having excellent weather resistance, or synthetic rubber such as IR, EPR, EPDM, BR, IIR, CR, NBR, chlorinated polyethylene, and silicone rubber, or styrene, urethane, White carbon, clay, and talc that do not impair water absorbency and transparency if necessary, mainly composed of polyester rubber, thermoplastic rubber such as elastic vinyl chloride, or blends of two or more of these. , Magnesium carbonate, Barium sulfate, Calcium carbonate, Zinc flower, High styrene resin, Coumarone indene resin, Phenol resin, Petroleum resin and other inorganic and organic fillers, CR and IR liquid rubber, Paraffin, Naphthenic , Aromatic oil, phthalic acid, ester plasticizer, vegetable oil and other softeners In addition, if necessary, phosphate ester flame retardants such as tricresyl phosphate, chlorinated paraffin, chlorine flame retardants such as perchlorpentacyclodecane and crosslinking agents such as sulfur and peroxide, diethylene glycol, Activators and accelerators composed of dihydric alcohols such as diethylene glycol esters or esterified products of dihydric alcohols, accelerators, and anti-aging agents are appropriately selected and added, and can be obtained by sheeting.
[0012]
The rubber sheet may be a vulcanized rubber sheet that has been vulcanized in advance, or a natural vulcanized sheet that is naturally vulcanized after construction, or a non-vulcanized or unvulcanized product that does not require vulcanization. Although it may be a rubber sheet, it is designed so that its water absorption rate (JIS K-6911) is at most 0.5%. This is to prevent the weather hood tape 1 stuck to the upright tank side plate 6 from being peeled off when the weight or area of the rubber sheet increases due to the intrusion of rainwater.
[0013]
Further, the ratio of these rubbers constituting the rubber sheet and fillers such as a filler, a softener, a flame retardant, a vulcanizing agent activator, an accelerator and an anti-aging agent is not particularly limited. The compounding composition ratio for obtaining transparency is 50 PHR or less of the filler relative to 100 PHR of rubber. Among these, the addition amount of the flame retardant for obtaining good flame retardancy is 10 to 30 PHR with respect to 100 PHR of rubber.
[0014]
That is, when the flame retardant is 10 PHR or less, sufficient flame retardancy cannot be imparted to the rubber sheet. When the flame retardant is 30 PHR or less, there is a risk of bleeding or blooming on the rubber sheet surface due to excessive addition, and adhesion with the sealant layer 3. There are problems such as defects and migration to the sealant layer 3, which is not preferable.
[0015]
Further, when the rubber sheet is required to be transparent, if the filler is 40 PHR or more of the filling material, the transparency may be lowered, which is not preferable. Furthermore, even if the softening agent is 40 PHR or more, the flame retardancy of the rubber sheet is inhibited and transparency with time is lowered due to bleeding or the like, so that it must be avoided.
[0016]
Next, as the plastic film substrate 2 used in the present invention, a flexible film such as PE, PET, PP, nylon and PVC is used. The film thickness is preferably 50 μm to 500 μm. The water absorption rate (JIS K-6911) is 0.5% or less at the maximum. The reason why the water absorption rate (JIS K-6911) is set to 0.5% or less is to prevent peeling from the sealant layer 3 due to water absorption and to prevent peeling from the upright tank side plate 6. The reason why the thickness of the film is 50 μm to 500 μm is that one is for maintaining transparency and the other is for maintaining weather resistance.
[0017]
If necessary, a film containing a suitable flame retardant such as phosphorus, halogen or fluorine may be used for the film.
[0018]
On the other hand, the sealant layer 3 as another main material constituting the weather food tape of the present invention is NR, butyl rubber, EPR, EPT, BR, IR, SBR, urethane rubber, silicone rubber, PVC, PE, SIS, SBS, SIBS, Carbon black, which is mainly composed of a polymer composed of a natural rubber free of metal corrosion such as polyisobutylene or atactic polypropylene, or a synthetic rubber or a simple substance of a thermoplastic resin or a blend thereof, and is usually known as a sealant filling, Silica and silicates, clay talc, carbonates, alumina hydrate, titanium white, barium sulfate, zinc white and other inorganic reinforcing fillers, high styrene resin, coumarone indene resin, phenolic resin, petroleum resin, lignin , Organic reinforcement fillers such as modified melamine resin, CR, I Liquid rubber, vegetable oil, mineral softener, plasticizer, phenol acetylene resin, coumarone indene resin, phenol formaldehyde resin, xylene formaldehyde resin, terpene phenol resin, rosin and rosin derivatives, petroleum resin, polybutene, It is obtained by appropriately selecting and blending binders such as polyterpenes, pine tars, and silicone oils, and anticorrosive agents such as tannic acid, petrolatum, and pitch.
[0019]
The sealant layer 3 is composed of inorganic compound flame retardants such as zinc borate, antimony oxide and aluminum hydroxide, phosphorous esthal flame retardants such as tricresyl phosphate, chlorinated paraffin and perchlorpentacyclodecane. It can also be made flame retardant by adding a flame retardant or the like.
[0020]
The sealant layer 3 of the present invention does not peel off for at least 3 days or more, preferably 6 months or more after being adhered to the tank side plate 6 upright and curved regardless of workability and four seasons during construction. From the aspect of maintaining adhesiveness, the thickness is designed to be 0.5 mm to 5.0 mm and the penetration is 50 mm to 250 mm, and 1.0 in a temperature range of −10 ° C. to + 50 ° C. It is designed to hold an adhesive strength (JIS Z-0237) of 10 kgf / 25 mm width (to steel).
[0021]
Next, the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5. In the floating roof outdoor storage tank 5 shown in FIG. 4, for the purpose of sealing the gap between the roof plate 9 and the tank side plate 6, A weather seal 10 such as urethane rubber is used. A weather hood 7 is attached to the roof plate 9 to cover the weather seal 10 for the purpose of protecting the weather seal 10.
[0022]
However, the weather seal 10 is normally removed during the tank use stop period such as inspection, cleaning, and repair of the outdoor storage tank 5. For this reason, a gap is formed between the roof plate 9 and the tank side plate 6, and rainwater intrudes from the gap when it rains, and the inside of the outdoor storage tank 5 is submerged.
[0023]
The present invention has been made to solve this problem. As shown in FIG. 5, the tank side plate position at least above the tank side plate position 6a with which the weather hood 7 attached to the roof plate 9 inclines comes into contact. 6b and the weather hood 7 are covered with the weather hood tape 1 from the top to the position near the end 7a of the weather hood 7 to prevent rainwater from entering from the gap between the roof plate 9 and the tank side plate 6. is there.
[0024]
Further, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 5, when the weather hood tape 1 is applied, the weather hood attachment position 6b of the tank side plate 6 is previously used as a primer when the tape is attached, and the tank side plate is applied when the tape is peeled off. From the tank side plate 6 of the weather hood tape 1, by applying a primer 8 that acts as a release that allows the weather hood tape 1 to be easily peeled off without leaving glue, and then sticking the weather hood tape 1 thereon. It is intended to shorten the tank suspension period by facilitating peeling of the tank and shortening the construction period.
[0025]
Here, the weather food tape 1 has an adhesive property that adheres to an upright and curved tank side plate 6 with or without the undercoat 8 and does not peel off for at least 3 days or more, preferably 6 months or more. is required.
[0026]
Furthermore, since the inside of the outdoor storage tank 5 is cleaned and the work is performed inside the tank, it is desirable that the weather hood tape 1 has transparency so that the base material 2 does not interfere with the lighting inside the tank. Also, in this case, the sealant layer 3 provided on the back surface of the base material 2 should be adhered to the upright and curved tank side plate 6 so as not to peel off for at least 3 days or more, preferably 6 months or more. In consideration of the fact that it does not occur, it is provided only at one end 2a or both ends 2a, 2b of the base material 2 so as not to disturb the lighting inside the tank.
[0027]
On the other hand, when the weather hood tape 1 is applied between the tank side plate 6 and the weather hood 7, the weather hood 7 attached to the roof plate 9 is at least above the position from the tank side plate position 6 a in contact with the inclination. Rust stains on the tank side plate 6 between the tank side plate positions 6b are removed in advance with a wire brush or the like.
[0028]
Next, when the weather hood tape 1 is adhered, it functions as a primer, and when the weather hood tape 1 is removed, the weather hood tape 1 is not left on the adhesion surface of the tank side plate 6 and the weather hood tape 1 is attached to the tank side plate 6. Undercoat 8, which acts as a release that can be peeled off very easily, that is, natural rubber, synthetic natural rubber or styrenic thermoplastic such as SIS, SBS, SEBS, SIBS, rubber, or a blend of any two or more of these In addition, dimethylpolysiloxane or methylphenylpolysiloxane is the main component in 100 parts by weight of a primer obtained by graft polymerization of an acrylic acid resin composed of a polymer of acrylic acid ester, methacrylic acid ester and derivatives thereof such as acrylonitrile, MMA, and MA. Oil type silicone mold release agent 20-1 The primer 8 plus the amount portion is applied to the site.
[0029]
Next, a weather hood in which the one side of the weather hood tape 1 having the sealant layer 3 continuously in the longitudinal direction of the back surface is stuck on the primer 8 and the other side of the weather hood tape 1 is in contact with the tank side plate 6. The weather hood tape 1 hangs down to a position 7a near the end of the hood 7, and if necessary, is attached to the position 7a near the end of the weather hood 7 continuously or intermittently to firmly hold the tank side plate 6 And an end portion vicinity position 7 a of the weather hood 7 are covered from the upper part to prevent rainwater from entering from a gap between the roof plate 9 and the tank side plate 6.
[0030]
Finally, the weather hood tape 1 is peeled off from the pasting site after the completion of work such as inspection, cleaning, and repairing of the outdoor storage tank 5. At this time, the paste of the weather hood tape 1 remains on the side surface 6 of the tank. Inspect for any.
[0031]
This construction method can also be used when the outdoor storage tank 5 is filled with contents such as oil and the contents are stored for a long period of time. In this case, the weather seal 10 remains attached. Install. In addition, during such long-term stockpiling, there is an additional effect that not only prevents rainwater from entering the tank, but also prevents the contents from leaking to the outside due to shaking of the tank such as an earthquake.
[0032]
In addition, the mixing ratio of the primer and the silicone release agent is determined by the smooth state of the tank side plate 6. That is, when the smooth state of the tank side plate 6 is poor, a relatively small amount of silicone release agent is blended. On the contrary, when the outdoor storage tank 5 is new and the smooth state is good, a relatively large amount may be blended. However, according to experiments, the addition of 20 parts or more of silicone release agent is not preferable because the release effect of the primer 8 is excessively increased and the weather hood tape 1 may be peeled off from the tank side plate 6. Since the release effect is not obtained or extremely weak, it is not preferable.
[0033]
That is, the silicone release agent in the primer moves to the primer surface over time and acts as a release. In this case, if there is much addition of a silicone release agent, it will transfer to the interface with the weather hood tape 1 more, and the weather hood tape 1 stuck to the upright and curved tank side plate 6 will peel off by its own weight. . On the contrary, if the amount of the silicone release agent is small, the release agent does not readily move to the primer surface, and even if it is transferred, it becomes a partial transfer. There is a possibility that adhesive residue of the sealant layer 3 may be generated.
[0034]
