Description
【0001】
【0063】
TAO=Kset・Tset−Kr・Tr−Kam・Tam−Ks・Ts+C但し、Ksetは温度設定ゲイン、Tsetは設定温度信号、Krは内気温ゲイン、Trは内気温信号、Kamは外気温ゲイン、Tamは外気温信号、Ksは日射ゲイン、Tsは日射量信号、Cは補正定数である。
【0064】
【0067】
SW ={(TAO−TE)/(TW−TE)}×100(%)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle antifogging device that removes fogging of a vehicle window glass.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as this type of vehicle anti-fogging device, one described in the Toyota Wyndham new model car manual (issued in September 1991) is known. In the conventional apparatus described in this manual, a rear window defogger as an anti-fogging means is operated by an occupant's switch operation, and the operation is automatically stopped 15 minutes after the start of the operation.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the anti-fogging means such as the rear window defogger consumes a lot of electric power, the voltage of the in-vehicle battery as the energy supplying means tends to decrease, and the normal operation of other in-vehicle devices becomes difficult due to the battery voltage decrease. There was a possibility of hindrance to vehicle driving.
[0004]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and it is an object of the present invention to prevent a vehicle from running out of trouble due to a decrease in the function of energy supply means and to ensure a minimum visibility.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the energy supply means (B) for storing energy and supplying energy to the vehicle-mounted device, and the energy supplied from the energy supply means are consumed. In the vehicle antifogging device, comprising the antifogging means (8, 10, 61, 62, 63) for removing fogging of the window glass, and the control means (30) for controlling the operation of the antifogging means, the control means comprises: While operating the anti-fogging means, the amount of air blown into the vehicle compartment by the blower (8) is limited. The anti-fogging means (8, 10, 61, 62, 63) is capable of blowing the air blown by the blower (8) toward the window glass and blowing it toward an area other than the window glass. (30) reduces the amount of airflow to the window glass less than the amount of airflow to the area other than the window glass when reducing the amount of air blown by the blower. It is characterized by that.
[0006]
according to this, During the operation of the anti-fogging means, operate the blower with high energy consumption. By limiting, the load on the energy supply means can be reduced. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the vehicle from running out of trouble due to the lowered function of the energy supply means while ensuring the minimum visibility.
[0020]
Also, When the energy consumption of the blower is limited to reduce the load on the energy supply means, the decrease in the amount of air blown to the window glass can be reduced to minimize the decrease in anti-fogging performance.
[0033]
In addition, the code | symbol in the bracket | parenthesis of each said means shows the correspondence with the specific means as described in embodiment mentioned later.

First, in step S1, various timers and control flags are initialized. Next, the set temperature signal Tset is read from the
[0062]
Next, the target blowing temperature TAO of the air blown into the vehicle interior is calculated based on the following
[0063]
[Expression 1]
TAO = Kset.Tset-Kr.Tr-Kam.Tam-Ks.Ts + C where Kset is a temperature setting gain, Tset is a setting temperature signal, Kr is an inside temperature gain, Tr is an inside temperature signal, Kam is an outside temperature gain, Tam Is an outside air temperature signal, Ks is a solar radiation gain, Ts is a solar radiation amount signal, and C is a correction constant.

Next, in step S6, the target opening degree SW of the air mix door 17 is calculated by the following
[0067]

SW = 0% is the maximum cooling position (position a in FIG. 1) where the air mix door 17 fully closes the ventilation path of the
[0068]
Next, in step S7, the inside / outside air mode is determined. Specifically, at the time of auto control, the inside / outside air mode is determined based on the target outlet temperature TAO. That is, when the TAO is in a low temperature range below a predetermined temperature, the inside / outside air mode is set to the inside air circulation mode, and when the TAO is in a high temperature range exceeding the predetermined temperature, the inside / outside air mode is set to the outside air introduction mode. When an occupant operates the inside / outside

Subsequently, in step S9, the blowing mode of the blowing air into the passenger compartment is determined based on the target blowing temperature TAO and the humidity signal RH. Specifically, as the target blowing temperature TAO rises from the low temperature side, the blowing mode is automatically switched in order from the face mode → bilevel mode → foot mode.

FIG. 3 exemplifies specific processing of the anti-fogging control in step S10 of FIG. 2, and will be described in detail below.
[0076]
In FIG. 3, in step S101, it is determined whether or not it is necessary to remove fogging of the front window glass W, the rear window glass, and the rearview mirror. Specifically, when the auto anti-fogging mode is set by the
[0077]
If step S101 is YES, the process proceeds to step S102, and the voltage Vb of the battery B is determined in step S102. And if the voltage Vb of the battery B is 10 V or less, it will progress to step S103, In this step S103, the operating time of the 1st-3rd

(Second Embodiment)
In the present embodiment, when the energy load of the vehicle is equal to or greater than a predetermined value, it is prohibited to automatically activate the anti-fogging means. In order to perform the above control, the process shown in FIG. 3 of the first embodiment is changed as shown in FIG. In FIG. 4, the same reference numerals as those in FIG. 3 are assigned to the steps for executing the same processes as those in FIG. 3, and the description thereof is omitted.
[0085]
In FIG. 4, in step S111, it is determined whether or not it is necessary to perform defogging. Specifically, when the auto anti-fogging mode is set by the
[0086]
If step S111 is YES, the process proceeds to step S102, where the voltage Vb of the battery B is determined. If the voltage Vb of the battery B is 10 V or less, the process proceeds to step S103. In this step S103, energization of the first to third
[0087]
By the way, when determining whether or not defogging is necessary based on the humidity signal RH, since it is generally determined on the safe side, even if it is determined that defogging is necessary, it is not known whether the window glass is really fogged.
[0088]
Therefore, in this embodiment, even when it is determined that defogging is necessary, when the electric energy load of the vehicle is high and the voltage of the battery B is low, the first to third

In the present embodiment, the automatic operation of the anti-fogging means is prohibited immediately after the engine is started. In order to perform the above control, the process of FIG. 5 is added to the first embodiment.

Next, the process proceeds to step S123. In step S123, it is determined whether or not the ignition switch is at the starter ON position. If YES, the process proceeds to step S124. In step S124, even if it is determined that the defogging is necessary based on the humidity signal RH, the first to third

In the present embodiment, the automatic operation of the first to third

(Fourth embodiment)
In the present embodiment, a plurality of anti-fogging means are operated alternately according to the energy load situation of the vehicle. In order to perform the above control, the process shown in FIG. 3 of the first embodiment is changed as shown in FIG. In FIG. 6, steps that execute the same processes as those in FIG. 3 are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in FIG. 3, and description thereof is omitted.
[0095]
In FIG. 6, if it is determined in step S101 that defogging is necessary, the process proceeds to step S102. If it is determined in step S102 that the voltage Vb of the battery B is less than 12 V, the process proceeds to step S131.
[0096]
In step S131, the first to third

As described above, when the voltage of the battery B is lowered, the first to third
[0098]
(Fifth embodiment)
In the present embodiment, the amount of air blown into the passenger compartment by the blower 8 (see FIG. 1) is restricted while the anti-fogging means is being operated. In order to perform the above control, the process shown in FIG. 3 of the first embodiment is changed as shown in FIG. In FIG. 8, steps that execute the same processes as those in FIG. 3 are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in FIG. 3, and description thereof is omitted.
[0099]
In FIG. 8, if it is determined in step S101 that defogging is necessary, the process proceeds to step S102, and if it is determined in step S102 that the voltage Vb of the battery B is 10 V or less, the process proceeds to step S141. In step S141, when the blower voltage BLW determined in step S5 (see FIG. 2) exceeds 8V, the blower voltage BLW is changed to 8V to limit the amount of air blown by the
[0100]
Further, if the voltage Vb of the battery B exceeds 10V and less than 12V, the process proceeds to step S142. In this step S142, when the blower voltage BLW determined in step S5 exceeds 9.25V, the blower voltage BLW is changed to 9.25V to limit the amount of air blown by the

As described above, when the voltage of the battery B is reduced and the first to third
[0102]
(Sixth embodiment)
In this embodiment, when a wiper (not shown) for wiping raindrops is operating, the anti-fogging means is operated in preference to other in-vehicle devices. In order to perform the above control, the process shown in FIG. 3 of the first embodiment is changed as shown in FIG. In FIG. 9, steps that execute the same processes as those in FIG. 3 are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in FIG. 3, and description thereof is omitted.
[0103]
In FIG. 9, if it is determined in step S101 that defogging is necessary, the process proceeds to step S151. In step S151, it is determined whether the wiper is operating. If the wiper is operating, step S151 is YES. Proceed to step S152.
[0104]
Then, since the humidity is high and the cloudy state easily occurs when the wiper is operated, a process for performing control giving priority to the anti-fogging property is executed in step S152. Specifically, operation of in-vehicle devices such as seat heaters (not shown) and air purifiers (not shown) for ensuring comfort is prohibited, while ensuring visibility and thus driving safety. The operation of the first to third
[0105]
Thus, by prohibiting the operation of the in-vehicle device for ensuring comfort during the wiper operation, the load on the battery B can be reduced, and the operation of the first to third
[0106]
(Seventh embodiment)
In the present embodiment, when the amount of air blown by the blower 8 (see FIG. 1) is decreased, the amount of air blown to the front window glass W (see FIG. 1) is reduced by the amount of air blown to the area other than the front window glass W. It is designed to be less than the amount of decrease. In order to perform the above control, the process shown in FIG. 8 of the fifth embodiment is changed as shown in FIG. In FIG. 10, steps that execute the same processes as those in FIG. 8 are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in FIG. 8, and description thereof is omitted.
[0107]
In FIG. 10, when it is determined in step S101 that defogging is necessary and the voltage Vb of the battery B is determined to be 10 V or less in step S102, the process proceeds to step S161 after executing the process of step S141.
[0108]
Then, in step S161, when the blowing mode determined in step S9 (see FIG. 2) is the foot defroster mode, a process of increasing the blown air volume ratio of the defroster outlet 19 (see FIG. 1) is executed. Specifically, both the blown air volume ratio of the
[0109]
If it is determined in step S102 that the voltage Vb of the battery B exceeds 10V and is less than 12V, the process proceeds to step S162 after executing the process of step S142. In step S162, when the blowing mode determined in step S9 is the foot defroster mode, a process of increasing the blown air volume ratio of the

By the way, when the air flow rate is reduced in step S141 or step S142 in the foot defroster mode, the airflow rate from the

On the other hand, in this embodiment, the amount of airflow reduction to the front window glass W is made smaller than the amount of airflow reduction to the occupant's feet side by increasing the blown air volume ratio of the
[0112]
(Eighth embodiment)
In the present embodiment, it is possible to change the reference for determining that the defogging is necessary. In order to perform the above control, the process shown in FIG. 4 of the second embodiment is changed as shown in FIG. 13 and the process shown in FIG. 12 is added. In FIG. 13, steps that execute the same processes as those in FIG. 4 are denoted by the same reference numerals as those in FIG. 4, and description thereof is omitted.
[0113]
FIG. 11 is a characteristic diagram showing the criteria for determining whether or not defogging is necessary. The necessity of defogging is determined based on the vehicle speed and the outside air temperature. Specifically, it is necessary to remove fog in a region where the outside air temperature is low, and as the vehicle speed increases, it is necessary to remove fog up to a region where the outside air temperature is higher.
[0114]
In addition, three characteristic lines serving as threshold values for necessity determination criteria are set, and when the first characteristic line a is selected, the area where fogging needs to be removed is the widest, and the third characteristic line c is selected. When the second characteristic line b is selected, the area where fog removal is necessary is the narrowest.
[0115]
In the present embodiment, a reference change switch (not shown) is provided as a reference change means for the occupant to change the defogging necessity determination reference.
[0116]
In FIG. 12, in step S171, a signal from the reference change switch is input by the occupant operating the reference change switch, and a characteristic desired by the occupant is selected. In step S172, the transition degree “high” is set when a characteristic that is likely to require defogging is selected in step S171, and the transition degree “low” is set when a characteristic that is unlikely to require defogging is selected. When the intermediate characteristic is selected, the transition degree “medium” is set.
[0117]
In FIG. 13, in step S181, the first characteristic line a is selected if the transition degree “high” is set in step S172 of FIG. 12, and the second characteristic line b is selected if the transition degree “medium” is set. If the transition degree “low” is set, the third characteristic line c is selected. Next, in step S182, it is determined whether or not defogging is necessary based on the characteristic line selected in step S181, the vehicle speed, and the outside air temperature.
[0118]
If it is determined in step S182 that defogging is necessary, the process proceeds to step S102, and the operating times of the first to third

According to this, when the occupant selects a characteristic that makes it difficult to remove the fog, the operating frequency of the first to third
