Description
【0001】

[0003]
By the way, dicumyl peroxide (DCP) is widely used as a crosslinking agent for obtaining the crosslinked polyolefin. When this dicumyl peroxide is used as a crosslinking agent, cumyl alcohol (CA) is produced as a decomposition product thereof. And this cumyl alcohol is decomposed | disassembled into water and alcohol as shown to following Chemical formula (V) by heating. This reaction is called a secondary decomposition reaction of dicumyl peroxide.

[Chemical formula 5]
[0005]
Such water generation in the secondary decomposition reaction of dicumyl peroxide also occurs in a CV cable made of a cross-linked polyolefin containing the same. When assembling a CV cable connecting portion, a heat cycle when using a CV cable, etc. As a result of this heating, water is generated in the
[0006]
Therefore, for example, Japanese Patent Application Nos. 62-215783, 63-289715, 1-101337, etc., a resin that forms an insulator, a fatty acid amide, an isocyanate as a secondary decomposition reaction inhibitor. A method of suppressing the secondary decomposition reaction by adding an aliphatic amine or the like has been proposed, but the effect may not be sufficient only by adding these inhibitors.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, the problem in the present invention is to generate water in the insulator due to the decomposition residue of the crosslinking agent in the insulated power cable using the crosslinked polyolefin made of an organic peroxide as a crosslinking agent and the connection portion thereof. The purpose is to prevent the deterioration of electrical characteristics.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Such problem, as a resin composition used for the insulation of the insulated power cables, with respect to crosslinked polyolefin 100 parts by weight, the compound represented by the following chemical formula (I), or a structure represented by the following formula (II) This can be solved by using a compound to which 0.005 to 2 parts by weight of a compound is added. However, in the chemical formula (I), R and R 1 are aliphatic hydrocarbons or aromatic hydrocarbons having C4 or more carbon atoms , and in the chemical formula (II), R 2 , R 3 and R 4 are aliphatic hydrocarbons, respectively. Or an aromatic hydrocarbon is shown, respectively.

[0010]
Further, such a problem is shown in the following chemical formula (III) or the following chemical formula (IV) with respect to 100 parts by weight of the crosslinked polyolefin as the resin composition used for the insulator of the connection portion of the insulated power cable. This is solved by using a compound having 0.005 to 2 parts by weight of a compound having a structure as described above.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The structure of the insulated power cable of the present invention can be the same as the structure of the conventional insulated power cable shown in FIG. Hereinafter, a description will be given with reference to FIG. This insulated power cable 8 has an inner

[0013]
Examples of the compound represented by the chemical formula (I) include N-butyl-N′-stearyl urea, N-stearyl-N′-stearyl urea and the like. Examples of the compound having the structure represented by the chemical formula (II) include xylene bisstearyl urea and toluylene bisstearyl urea.
[0014]
These compounds suppress the secondary decomposition reaction of dicumyl peroxide added as an additive for obtaining a crosslinked polyolefin. Although the details of the mechanism of its expression are not yet clear, these compounds have an action of inhibiting the decomposition reaction of dicumyl alcohol generated from dicumyl peroxide, and as a result, the decomposition of dicumyl alcohol by heating. It is thought that generation of water due to the reaction is suppressed.
[0015]
The compounding amount of the compound represented by the chemical formula (I) or the compound represented by the chemical formula (II) is preferably 0.005 to 2 parts by weight with respect to 100 parts by weight of the crosslinked polyolefin. If the blending amount is less than 0.005 parts by weight, the effect of suppressing the secondary decomposition reaction of dicumyl peroxide that is stable over the entire length of the power cable due to poor dispersion cannot be exerted, and if it exceeds 2 parts by weight, the insulated power cable This may cause bloom in the insulator, which is not preferable.
[0016]
As the above-mentioned cross-linked polyolefin, a cross-linked polyethylene generally used as an insulator of an insulated power cable is preferably used, but is not particularly limited. Moreover, what added dicumyl peroxide as a crosslinking agent is used. The crosslinked polyolefin may contain additives such as an anti-aging agent in addition to the crosslinking agent, the compound represented by the chemical formula (I) or the chemical formula (II) .

[0020]
In such an insulated power cable and its connecting portion, the compound represented by the above chemical formulas (I) and (III) or the above chemical formulas (II) and (IV) is added to the resin constituting the insulator as described above. Is added, so the decomposition reaction of dicumyl alcohol generated from dicumyl peroxide added as a cross-linking agent is suppressed, so the generation of water due to the decomposition reaction of dicumyl alcohol during heating is suppressed. Is done. Therefore, there is no occurrence of electrically harmful defects such as a decrease in electrical insulation performance due to the generation of water in the power cable and the induction of water tree generation.
[0021]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with specific examples. As the cross-linked polyolefin, low density polyethylene having a specific gravity of 0.92 is used. Based on 100 parts by weight of the low density polyethylene, 2 parts by weight of dicumyl peroxide as a cross-linking agent and 4,4′-thiobis ( 3-methyl-6-t-butylphenol) is added to 0.3 parts by weight of the compound represented by the chemical formula (I) or the chemical formula (II), and N-butyl-N′-stearyl urea, N— Stearyl-N′-stearyl urea, xylene bisstearyl urea, and toluylene bisstearyl urea were added in the proportions shown in Table 1 and Table 2, respectively, and the crosslinkable compounds of Examples 1-6 and Comparative Examples 1-3. Was prepared. Subsequently, these were roll kneaded at 180 ° C., and then formed into a 5 mm thick crosslinked sheet using a 200 ° C. hot press.
[0022]
[Measurement of moisture generation]
The crosslinked sheets of Examples 1 to 6 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 obtained as described above were left in an air oven at 180 ° C. for 2 hours, and the moisture content in the crosslinked sheet before and after heating was determined by the Karl Fischer method. The results are shown in Tables 1 and 2.
[0023]
[Extrudability]
The crosslinked sheets of Examples 1 to 6 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 obtained as described above were processed into pellets, which were extruded with a single screw extruder (outer diameter 50 mmφ, L / D = 22). Each extrusion characteristic was evaluated. Results are shown in Tables 1 and 2. For the evaluation of extrusion characteristics, the cylinder set temperature of the extruder was set to 140 ° C., the screw rotation speed was increased every 10 rpm between 10 to 70 rpm, and the resin extrusion amount increased in proportion to the increase in screw rotation speed. X, and the resin extrusion amount was not proportional to the increase in the screw rotation speed, and reached the peak.
[0024]
[Table 1]
[0025]
[Table 2]
[0026]
From the results shown in Tables 1 and 2, it can be seen that in the examples of the present invention, the generation of moisture by heating can be suppressed as compared with the comparative example. Moreover, it turns out that extrusion processability is also favorable.
[0027]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the insulated power cable and connection part of the present invention, the resin constituting the insulator has the same chemical formula (III) as the chemical formula (I) described above or the same as the chemical formula (II) described above. Since the compound represented by the chemical formula (IV) is added, even if the crosslinked polyolefin uses dicumyl peroxide as a crosslinking agent, water in the secondary decomposition reaction of dicumyl peroxide during heating is used. Can be suppressed. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a decrease in electrical characteristics of the insulated power cable and its connecting portion caused by the generation of water.
