Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cover such as a book manufactured using cardboard, and a file.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Thick cover (hard cover) hardened so that it does not bend easily in order to improve durability and appearance in picture books, fairy tale books for infants and children, various encyclopedias, technical literature, etc. The book bound with this cover is called upper bound.
[0003]
As shown in FIG. 10, the front cover 1 used for conventional upper bookbinding is arranged by placing cardboard or other thick paper as core materials 5 a, 5 b, 5 c on the front cover 2, back cover 3, and back cover 4. These core members 5a, 5b, 5c are configured to be wrapped with bent pieces 6a, 6b, 6c, 6d of a cover body 6 made of thin paper.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in order to produce an upper bound cover by wrapping three core materials inside, a thick paper core material and a thin paper cover main body are cut separately, and the three core materials are placed on the cover main body at a predetermined interval. Since it has to be put in place while leaving a gap, and then the folded piece of thin paper must be folded and bonded to the core material, complicated processes such as alignment work as well as cutting of the core material are necessary, and production It took a lot of work and time and was troublesome.
[0005]
On the other hand, the cover of ordinary bookbinding can be bound using one sheet of material, so it is easy to make, but because it is cut simultaneously with the content page, the cut surface is exposed on the three sides, The appearance is bad.
Further, the conventional upper bookbinding is not preferable from the viewpoint of safety as a book for children because the corner of the cover, particularly the corner on the opposite side of the back cover, is sharpened at right angles. And in order to make the corner part of this upper bookbinding a curve, not only the corner part of the core material is cut with a curve, but also the cover body is repeated on the inner surface side of the cover sheet according to the curve of the core material. In other words, it was essential to repeat the folding operation for R. Therefore, a lot of labor and time are required, and the production is not easy.
[0006]
The present invention has been proposed in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and its purpose is that the corner portion is curved and easy to produce, and has the necessary and sufficient durability, and the appearance is not inferior to the cover of the upper bound book. A cover and a file using the cover are to be provided.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been proposed to achieve the above object, and according to the first aspect of the present invention, the folding curve is set to be substantially rectangular on a piece of thick paper, and the outer side of the folding curve is vertically folded. In addition to the left and right vertical folding pieces, the inner area of the folding curve is used as a cover area, and two vertical folding curves with a predetermined width are set in parallel at the left and right central portions of the cover area between the two vertical folding curves. Is the spine cover area, the left and right sides of the spine cover area are the front cover area, and the other is the back cover area. Of the folded pieces, the hypotenuse has an oblique side of 90 degrees or more at the intersection of the horizontal folded pieces and the vertical folded pieces. A cover formed with a V-shaped notch,
The notch is formed in a substantially V-shaped valley portion, a curved side cut out with a curved corner portion, and a portion between the curved side and the base end portion of the oblique side cut out in a substantially W shape. A cutout portion for R composed of a refraction side that leaves a covering protrusion is formed;
Each folded piece is folded back to the inner surface side of the cover, and each folded piece is reinforced by directly bonding the folded piece to the cover area, and covering the edge of the curved corner portion of the cover area. It is a cover.
[0008]
In the present application, “thick paper” means paper thicker than the paper used for the content page to be stored. In addition, “substantially rectangular” means a shape obtained by rounding a rectangular right-angle corner with a curve, and “substantially V-shaped” means a shape that is an inverted shape and has two inclined sides. . The “substantially V-shaped valley portion” means a portion where two inclined sides are closest.
[0009]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a file in which a fastener is provided on the inner surface of the spine cover region of the front cover according to the first aspect.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a plan view of a cover body 11 in which a cover 10 according to the present invention is developed, and FIG. 2 is a plan view and a cross-sectional view of a folded piece.
[0015]
As shown in FIG. 1, the cover body 11 has a sheet of paper with notches 31 at the four corners. As shown in FIG. 1, the upper horizontal curve 12, the lower horizontal curve 13, the left vertical curve 14, and the right vertical The folding line 15 is formed so as to connect the valleys of the notch 31, and the outer sides of the folding lines 12, 13, 14, 15 are turned pieces 16, 17, 18, 19, and the folding lines 12, 13 are formed. , 14, 15 is set as a cover area 20, and two vertical folding curves 21, 21 having a predetermined width are set in parallel at the left and right central portions of the cover area 20, so that a space between both vertical folding curves 21, 21 is set. A back cover area 22 is provided, one of the left and right sides of the spine cover area 22 is a front cover area 23, and the other is a back cover area 24, and a central notch 32 is formed outside the spine cover area 22. The line pushing is a process of engraving a narrow groove by pressing the cover body 11 in a line shape or a line shape, and it is easy to bend from the pressed portion. Note that the groove may be unclear as long as the groove is pressed and processed to be easily bent.
[0016]
The two vertical folding curves 21 and 21 described above may be formed by pushing the other folding curves 12, 13, 14, and 15 at the same time, but after folding the folding pieces 16 and 17 in a later step. A folding curve may be obtained by pushing a line from the side that becomes the inner surface of the cover at a time and attaching a crease having a U-shaped cross section (rectangular shape). Further, a weak line portion 30 such as a vertical fold curve or a half slit (a linear cut not penetrating) may be further formed outside the vertical fold curves 21 and 21 with a little space therebetween. When a weak line portion 30 such as a curve is added, as shown in FIG. 2 (b), the cover line 10 can be bent from the weak line portion 30 when it is opened, and it is easy to open, and it is difficult to close when opened. It becomes easier to read. In short, the fragile line portion 30 is a line that becomes a fold when the cover 10 is opened, and the number of lines may be any number, and the interval is also appropriate. Easier to open. The fragile line portion 30 is more effective in that the half slit is more difficult to close while being open.
[0017]
The cutout portion 31 is substantially V-shaped with a hypotenuse of 90 degrees or more, and includes a curved side 34 that includes a curved side 34 that cuts out a corner portion of the cover region 20 with a curved line at the substantially V-shaped valley portion. An R cutout 35 is formed. Therefore, the end portions of the folded pieces 16, 17, 18, 19 adjacent to the cutout portion 31 are hypotenuses.
[0018]
As shown in FIG. 3A, the first embodiment of the R cut-out portion 35 includes a curved side 34 in which a corner portion is cut out with a curve, and a gap between the curved side 34 and the base end portion of the oblique side. It is composed of a refraction side 37 that is cut out in a substantially W shape and leaves a covering projection piece 36 in the middle.
[0019]
The folding operation of the peripheral portion of the cutout portion 31 having the R cutout portion 35 having such a configuration will be described first. As shown in FIG. 3 (b), the folding piece 18 is folded back to the inner surface side as shown in FIG. The side edge portion of the cover area can be reinforced by folding the piece 16 to the inner surface side of the cover and bonding each folded piece directly to the cover area. Moreover, since the said covering piece 36 can be covered on the edge of the curve corner part of a cover area | region, the appearance of a curve corner part can be improved.
[0020]
3 is a small isosceles triangle whose base has a length slightly less than twice the thickness of the cardboard, and therefore only covers a part of the edge of the curved corner portion. When the height of the triangle is extended, the covering length is further increased, so that the covering ratio is increased and the appearance can be further improved.
[0021]
Further, the covering and covering protrusions 36 are not limited to small isosceles triangles. For example, as shown in FIG. 4A, the length of the short side is set to a dimension slightly less than twice the thickness of the cardboard. It may be an elongated rectangle. Note that the covering protrusion 36 is not essential for making the corner portion of the cover area curved. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4B, the R cutout 35 may be formed in a substantially shamisen repellent shape including a curved side 34 that cuts out a corner portion of the cover area with a curve.
[0022]
Next, a folding operation for folding pieces formed on the four sides of the cover body will be described.
The left and right folded pieces 18 and 19 are folded back to the inner surface side of the cover, the folded folded pieces 18 and 19 are directly bonded to the cover area 20, and then the upper and lower folded pieces 16 and 17 are folded in the same manner. The folded pieces 16 and 17 are directly bonded to the cover area 20. Note that when the upper and lower folded pieces 16 and 17 are folded, the left and right end portions overlap the left and right folded pieces 18 and 19 that have already been folded and bonded, but these portions may be bonded in a superposed state.
[0023]
When the folded pieces 16, 17, 18, 19 are folded and bonded directly to the cover region 20 in this way, at least the four-round peripheral portion of the rectangle can be reinforced by the overlapping adhesion of the folded pieces 16, 17, 18, 19. In addition, it is possible to obtain a higher strength than that of the cover of ordinary bookbinding, and the corner portion of the front cover region and the corner portion of the back cover region are both formed with a curved line and have no right-pointed tip.
[0024]
Then, after the folded pieces 16, 17, 18, 19 are folded and bonded, the longitudinal folding curves 21 and 21 are pushed straight from the side that is the inner surface of the cover to form a crease portion that becomes the folded corner portion 40 in a linear shape. To do. In this way, when the folding pieces 16 and 17 are folded and then pushed, the subsequent cover can be opened and closed smoothly.
[0025]
Then, the previously bound content page 33 is accommodated in the front cover 1 produced in this way, and the first page 33 is bonded to the inner surface of the front cover region 23 and the last page 33 is bonded to the inner surface of the back cover region 24. Then, as shown in FIG. 2A, the binding ends and becomes a book.
[0026]
The book bound by the cover 10 described above is highly safe for children because the corner portion of the cover is curved. And since the folded pieces 16, 17, 18, 19 are folded inward, the cut surface does not appear on the edge of the cover as in ordinary bookbinding, and the edge of the cover 10 protrudes from the content page 33. Can be bound in the same form as the cover of a conventional upper bookbinding, and the appearance is good. Further, since the cover 10 is reinforced by directly bonding the folded pieces 16, 17, 18, and 19 to the cover region 20, high strength can be obtained. Further, since it is not necessary to wrap the cardboard as the core material inside the cover, it is possible to simplify the bookbinding process by omitting operations such as alignment of the core material.
[0027]
In addition, if the length from the folding lines 12, 13, 14, 15 to the outer edges of the folded pieces 16, 17, 18, 19 is increased or decreased, the area superposed on the cover area 20 can be adjusted. Accordingly, the range to be reinforced can be appropriately adjusted, and the folded pieces 16, 17, 18, and 19 can be overlapped and reinforced over the entire front cover area 23 and back cover area 24.
[0028]
Next, a method for manufacturing the cover described above will be described.
As shown in FIG. 5, the rectangular folding lines 12, 13, 14, and 15 are simultaneously pushed at predetermined positions to be the cover body 11 of the large paperboard 41 (rectangular folding line forming step). At this time, the longitudinal folding curve 21 defining the spine cover region 22 may be pushed simultaneously. Then, when the formation of the folding curve by pushing the line is completed, the cover body 11 is cut. In FIG. 5, the pushing and cutting are shown as separate processes, but in the actual work, the pushing and cutting are performed simultaneously to increase work efficiency.
[0029]
Next, as shown in FIG. 6A, the left and right folded pieces 18 and 19 are folded back from the folding lines 14 and 15 to the inner side of the cover sheet, and the folded folded pieces 18 and 19 are directly bonded to the cover area 20. (Folding step).
[0030]
When the folding and bonding of the left and right folded pieces 18 and 19 are completed, as shown in FIG. 6B, the upper and lower folded pieces 16 and 17 are folded back to the inner surface side, and the folded folded pieces 16 and 17 is directly bonded to the cover area 20. At this time, the covering protrusion 36 in the corner portion is covered and bonded to the edge of the corner portion.
[0031]
When the folding and bonding of the folded pieces 16, 17, 18, 19 is completed, two vertical folding curves 21, 21 having a predetermined width are set in parallel at the left and right central portions of the cover area 20, 21 is a spine cover region 22, the left and right sides of the spine cover region 22 are a front cover region 23, and the other is a back cover region 24. Press to crease the fold portion 40 (fold portion forming step).
[0032]
As shown in FIG. 7, the bent portion forming step uses a female die 43 in which a U-shaped groove 42 is formed and a U-shaped male die 44 that can be fitted in the groove 42. The width of the male mold 44 is set to the width of the spine cover region 22, that is, the width of the longitudinal folding curves 21, 21, and the inner method of the groove 42 is approximately twice the paper thickness of the cover main body 11. It is set to the dimension which added the width of.
[0033]
If the cover main body 11 is placed at a predetermined position on the female mold 43 having such a groove 42, the male mold 44 is lowered to contact the spine cover region 22 on the inner surface side of the cover main body 11, and further lowered. The back cover area 22 is pushed into the groove 42 while being pressed against the front end surface of the male mold 44, and accordingly, the front cover area 23 and the back cover area 24 are bent upward at the vertical folding curves 21 and 21. Then, when the male mold 44 is further lowered, the bottom body is bottomed, and by this bottoming, the cover body 11 sandwiched between the corner (edge portion) of the male mold 44 and the bottom corner of the groove 42 is pressure-molded and vertically folded. A crease with a U-shaped cross section is attached on the curves 21 and 21.
[0034]
When folding folds are formed on the longitudinal folding curves 21 and 21 that define the spine cover region 22, the folding edge 40 of the spine becomes clear as shown in FIG. In addition, if the weak line part 30 is formed in the outer side of the vertical folding curve 21, it will become easy to open from the weak line part 30, as shown in FIG.2 (b) and FIG. 8, and the opened cover will be closed arbitrarily. Can be prevented.
[0035]
FIG. 9 shows a file opened using the above-described cover.
The file 46 includes the spine cover area 22, the front cover area 23, the back cover area 24, the folded pieces 16 and 18, and the cut-out portion 31 and the cut-out portion 35 for making the corner portions curved. The difference is that a fastener such as loose-leaf paper is provided on the inner surface of the spine cover area. That is, when the fastener 47 is fixed to the inner surface of the back cover of the cover 10 described above, it can be used as the file 46. The fastener 47 can be appropriately selected according to the content page to be filed. For example, a two-hole type or multi-hole type ring fastener may be used, or the content page may not be perforated. A type of fastener may be used.
[0036]
Further, the file 46 shown in FIG. 9 has a pocket attached to the inner surface of the cover using folded pieces. The pocket 50 provided on the front cover on the left side is set so that the folding margin (the length from the lower lateral folding curve 13 to the tip) of the lower lateral folding piece 17 'on the left side is set larger than the folding margin of the other folding pieces. The folded piece for pocket is folded to the inner surface of the cover, and the side edge portion is bonded to the cover region 23, and the pocket folded piece is formed as an open pocket. Further, the pocket 51 provided on the right back cover has a folding margin for the right vertical folding piece 19 'larger than the folding margin for the other folding pieces, and is used as a pocket folding piece. The side edge portion is bonded to the back cover region 24, and the front end portion of the pocket folding piece is formed as an open pocket. In addition, you may reinforce by attaching the reinforcement tool 48 to each corner part of a cover.
[0037]
Therefore, the file 46 provided with such pockets 50 and 51 can store memos, documents and the like by inserting them into the pockets 50 and 51, and is easy to use. Since it can be easily manufactured, it can be provided at low cost.
[0038]
The above-described embodiment of the cover has been described by taking the cover of the book as an example. However, the cover of the present invention is not limited to this, and may be a cover of a note or an album, for example.
[0039]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, a cover with a corner portion curved with only one thick paper can be easily produced without repeating the folding operation for R, so that a cover with improved safety can be obtained. Can do. Therefore, a book suitable for children can be provided. And since the R notch part which has a coating protrusion in the part of the valley of a notch part was formed , the cutting edge of a corner part can be obscured by this covering protrusion, and appearance can be improved further.
[0040]
Further, since it can be produced with only a single cardboard and does not require a core material like a conventional upper bookbinding cover, the core material is not required to be cut or troublesome alignment work, and manufacturing is easy. And, by folding the folded piece formed outside the rectangular folding line to the cover inner surface side and directly adhering to the cover area, the peripheral part of the rectangular folded line is reinforced by the overlapping adhesion of the folded piece, so high strength In addition, since the edge is rounded by folding the folded piece, the appearance is good like the cover of the upper bound book.
[0041]
Similarly, in the case of a file, the corner portion is curved, so that safety can be improved, and the cut edge of the corner portion can be covered by the covering protrusion. And it is easy to produce with good appearance .
