BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a leaf tobacco knitting machine, and more specifically, a string such as a string and a tobacco leaf are placed on a conveyor belt and are stitched by a sewing machine disposed on the conveyor belt while conveying the string and the leaf tobacco. The present invention relates to an improvement in a metal fitting for fixing an end of a string used in a leaf tobacco knitting machine to a conveyor belt.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a leaf tobacco knitting machine that stitches leaf tobacco into a continuous rope or the like, a “tobacco leaf leaf knitting device” (see Patent Document 1) has been proposed. Since these leaf tobacco knitting machines sew the leaf tobacco and the tethers on the conveyor belt, it is necessary to convey the tethers etc. while holding them at predetermined positions on the conveyor belt. Was fixed to the conveyor belt with metal fittings. FIG. 6 shows the mounting state of the metal fitting. The connecting ropes 3 and 4 are held between the narrow endless belt 1 and the wide endless belt 2, and the rear end of the connecting rope 3 is engaged with the protrusions 5 a and 5 b of the metal fitting 5, and then the press frame 5e.
[0003]
Similarly, the front end of the string 4 is engaged with the protrusions 5d and 5c of the metal fitting 5 and then sandwiched between the pressing frames 5e. On the lower surface of the metal fitting 5, pins 5 f and 5 g are projected downward, inserted into holes formed in the endless belt 2, and detachably locked to the endless belt 2. Usually, the height of the pins 5f and 5g is about 2 to 3 times the thickness of the endless belt 2. Here, during the operation of the leaf tobacco knitting machine in FIG. 6, the endless belts 1 and 2 are conveyed in the left direction in the drawing, and the leaf tobacco is stitched to the tether 3 at a position in front of the left side in the drawing (not shown). The string 4 is attached to the endless belt 2 in order to sew the leaf tobacco as the next string after the stitching of the leaf tobacco to the string 3 is finished.
[0004]
The rear end of the metal fitting 5 and the tether 3 fixed thereto and the front end of the tether 4 are carried to the left along with the movement of the endless belt 2. When the metal fitting 5 reaches the reversing portion at the left end of the endless belt 2, the lower surface of the endless belt 2 is brought into contact with a roller (not shown) that stretches the endless belt 2, and the pins 5f and 5g on the lower surface of the metal end 5 are contacted. Is pushed upward from the hole of the endless belt 2. Then, the metal fitting 5 is detached from the endless belt 2 and falls to the front ground. On the other hand, when the rear end of the tether 4 appears on the endless belt 2, the metal fitting 5 is newly locked in the hole of the endless belt 2, and the rear end of the tether 4 is clamped. Attach the tip to the bracket 5. By repeating these steps, the operation of stitching the leaf tobacco to the continuous rope proceeds in sequence.

[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-215841
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above-described conventional leaf tobacco knitting machine attaches a new metal fitting to the endless belt and sews next to the rear end of the lanyard after the stitching is finished, every time the smoking operation of the leaf tobacco to one lanyard is completed. The work which locks the front-end | tip of a lasso to a metal fitting is required. At the same time, as the suturing operation proceeds, the metal fittings fall onto the ground in front of the endless belt together with the continuous rope, and are buried between the sewn leaf cigarettes. Usually, since a few metal fittings are reused, it is necessary to find the used metal fittings while the sutures and leaf cigarettes are accumulated, and to remove them from the ropes. Finding the metal fittings that were buried between the tobacco leaves was troublesome because the tobacco had to be scraped, and it took a lot of time and effort. Therefore, it was desired to reduce the time spent searching for metal fittings. Then, this invention makes it a subject to provide the leaf tobacco knitting machine which made it unnecessary to collect | recover the metal fitting for latching a tether etc. to an endless belt after using when operating a leaf tobacco knitting machine.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
Therefore, in order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the leaf tobacco knitting machine according to the invention of claim 1 is a sewing machine in which a string and a leaf tobacco are stacked on the transport belt and are arranged on the transport belt while transporting the string and the leaf tobacco. [0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a plan view showing an embodiment of a leaf tobacco knitting machine according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a front view of FIG. In both figures, reference numeral 11 denotes a main body of a leaf tobacco knitting machine. A wide endless belt 12 and a narrow endless belt 13 are arranged on the upper surface with a spacing S, and constitute a transport belt 14 for transporting a leaf tobacco L. Yes. A drum 16 that supplies a string 15 that is a string to be sewn to the leaf tobacco L is supported by the main body 11 in front of the conveyance belt 14 on the upper side in the conveyance direction. A drum 16 serving as a string supply means is wound with a string of continuous ropes having a length of 4.3 to 4.5 m and a thickness of about 9 mm.
[0011]
On the lower side of the upper surface of the conveyor belt 14 in the conveying direction, a sewing machine 17 for sewing the leaf tobacco L and the tether 15 is disposed. On the lower side of the sewing machine 17, endless belts 18 and 19 that press the leaf tobacco L from above are disposed corresponding to the endless belts 12 and 13. At the end of the endless belt 12 on the endless belt 13 side, metal fittings 21 and 22 for temporarily fixing the string 15 are provided at an appropriate interval in a direction perpendicular to the transport direction. In the figure, reference numeral 23 denotes a motor for driving the conveyor belt 14, and reference numeral 24 denotes a thread.
[0012]
3 is an enlarged view of the metal parts 21 and 22 shown in FIG. 1, and FIGS. 4 and 5 are cross-sectional views taken along line XX of FIG. As illustrated, the metal fittings 21 and 22 are fixed to the endless belt 12 by bolts 25 to 28, nuts 29 to 32, and flat washers 33 to 36. The tips of the metal fittings 21 and 22 are bent upward to form end projections 21a and 22a. Between the bolts 25 and 26 and the bolts 27 and 28 on the opposite side of the end projections 21a and 22a, a projection made of a round bar or the like with a diameter of the connecting ropes 15A and 15B or a slightly narrower interval therebetween. 37 and 38 and protrusions 39 and 40 are provided in a protruding manner.
[0013]
Between the projections 37 and 38 and the projections 39 and 40, through holes 41 and 42 are formed so as to pass through the metal fittings 21 and 22 and the endless belt 12, and retracted pins 43 and 44 are respectively inserted. ing. Flange portions 43a and 44a are formed at the lower ends of the in / out pins 43 and 44 to prevent the in / out pins 43 and 44 from being pulled out upward. In addition, a through hole is formed in the upper end of the in / out pins 43 and 44 in the diametrical direction, and R pins 45 and 46 are inserted to prevent the in / out pins 43 and 44 from coming out downward. In FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the R pins 45 and 46 are not shown for easy understanding of the operation of the retracting pins 43 and 44. Instead of the R pins 45 and 46, split pins, C-type retaining rings, rivets, or the like can be used.
[0014]
Next, the method of using the above-described leaf tobacco knitting machine 11 and the operation of each part will be described. When the metal fittings 21 and 22 appear on the upper surface of the conveyor belt 14 during operation of the leaf tobacco knitting machine 11, the drum 16 is connected to the conveyor belt 14 with the rear end of the tether 15 </ b> A and the front end of the tether 15 </ b> B tied. Has been supplied. Therefore, the knot between the longline 15A and the longline 15B is unwound, the rear end of the longline 15A is engaged with the end protrusion 21a of the metal fitting 21, and then pushed between the protrusions 37 and 38. The rear end is locked to the metal fitting 21. Similarly, the tip of the tether 15B is engaged with the end protrusion 22a of the metal fitting 22 and then pushed between the protrusions 39 and 40, thereby locking the tip of the tether 15B to the metal fitting 22. At this time, the retracting pins 43 and 44 are lowered.
[0015]
Next, the leaf cigarettes L are arranged on the longlines 15 </ b> A and 15 </ b> B on the conveyor belt 14. While the leaf belt L is stitched by the sewing machine 17 as the transport belt 14 moves, the metal fittings 21 and 22 also move and reach the reversal portion at the end of the transport belt 14. Then, as shown in FIG. 5, the lower end of the protruding and retracting pin 43 of the metal fitting 21 comes into contact with the roller 47 that stretches the endless belt 12 and is pushed up. And the engagement with the end protrusion 21a is released. As a result, the longline 15A moves away from the conveyor belt 14 and falls to the front ground. Next, the tip of the tether 15B that is locked to the metal fitting 22 is similarly released from the metal fitting 22 and dropped to the front ground by the raising and lowering pins 44 rising.
[0016]
However, the portion following the tether 15B remains in the interval S portion in the transport belt 14, and the leaf tobacco L is arranged on the portion and stitched by the sewing machine 17. At the same time as the rear end of the tether 15B appears on the endless belt 12, the metal fittings 21 and 22 also appear, the leaf tobacco knitting machine 11 is again stopped, and the above-described operation is repeated. The protrusion pins 43 and 44 rise only when the flange portions 43a and 44a at the lower end are in contact with the roller surface only when passing through the roller portions at both ends of the endless belt 12, and pass through other intermediate horizontal portions. Inside, it is possible to go up and down. In the embodiment described above, a string is used as a string, but other string members other than the string can be used.
[0017]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, since the metal fitting is fixed to the conveyance belt to hold the string on the upper surface of the conveyance belt, the leading end of the string is fixed to the metal fitting and the leaf tobacco and the string are sewn. When the metal fitting reaches the reversing part of the conveyance belt as the stitching proceeds, the string is automatically detached from the metal fitting and dropped, and the metal fitting remains on the conveyance belt. As a result, it is not necessary to search for a metal fitting from the leaf tobacco that has been sewn.
