【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an exhaust gas treatment apparatus and an exhaust gas treatment method for vehicles such as automobiles, diesel engines, various boilers, and garbage incineration facilities, and more specifically, exhausted from vehicles, diesel engines, various boilers, garbage incineration facilities, and the like. The present invention relates to an exhaust gas treatment apparatus and an exhaust gas treatment method for decomposing or removing gaseous pollutants and particulate pollutants in exhaust gas.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In exhaust gas discharged from vehicles, diesel engines, various boilers, garbage incineration facilities, etc., nitrogen oxides NOx and sulfur oxides SOx as gaseous pollutants, unburned carbon and dust such as soot as particulate pollutants, etc. A technique for decomposing or removing them is conventionally used. Conventionally, in a method for decomposing or removing nitrogen oxides or sulfur oxides, plasma is generated by glow discharge or corona discharge to decompose them into nitrogen, sulfur or oxygen, or nitrogen oxides and sulfur using an adsorbent. A method of adsorbing and removing oxides is used. Moreover, in the method of removing particulate pollutants such as unburned carbon and dust, a method of separating and removing using a porous ceramic filter or the like, burning using a burner, or collecting and washing using a cleaning liquid Is used to prevent these pollutants from being released into the atmosphere.
[0003]
Further, in the tunnel, the exhaust gas discharged from the vehicle is accumulated in the tunnel, and the exhaust gas from the vehicle is released into the atmosphere as the tunnel is ventilated. Considering the situation such as air pollution in recent years, it is necessary to remove nitrogen oxides and suspended particulate pollutants (SPM) as much as possible when exhaust gas accumulated in the tunnel is discharged into the atmosphere.
[0004]
Up to now, as apparatuses capable of removing the above-mentioned nitrogen oxides and particulate pollutants and releasing a clean gas, JP-A-8-24559, JP-A-9-329015, and Japanese Patent No. 29997912 are disclosed. An apparatus disclosed in the publication is used.
[0005]
According to the apparatus disclosed in JP-A-8-24559, the rotating disk is immersed in the cleaning liquid, and the coating of the cleaning liquid is formed on the surface of the rotating disk by rotating the rotating disk. Soot and dust are dissolved or absorbed in the formed coating film of the cleaning liquid so that it can be removed. Further, the apparatus disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-24559 is provided with a discharge electrode, and plasma is generated by the discharge from the discharge electrode to decompose nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas. Yes. In this way, nitrogen oxides are detoxified like nitrogen and oxygen, and those that are partially oxidized to produce acid should be neutralized, for example, by mixing an alkaline solution with the purification solution. Can be done.
[0006]
Further, according to the apparatus disclosed in JP-A-9-329015, a porous filter made of alumina ceramic or the like is disposed between electrodes, and an AC high voltage or pulse high voltage is applied between the electrodes. The plasma is generated. According to the apparatus disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-329015, particulate contaminants containing carbon as a main component are deposited on the filter when they are filtered by the porous filter, but are present there. It is oxidized to carbon dioxide by the action of oxidizing radicals in the discharge plasma, and is released as a gaseous substance from the filter to the atmosphere. Further, nitrogen oxides that have been subjected to the action of plasma are reduced to nitrogen and released into the atmosphere.
[0007]
Furthermore, according to the apparatus disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 2997912, a processing object supply means for supplying a processing object such as exhaust gas, a plasma generation unit, an oxygen-containing gas supply means, an auxiliary heating means, A compound processing apparatus comprising a combustion chamber and waste gas processing means is disclosed. In the apparatus disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 2997912, the exhaust gas is decomposed into components such as nitrogen, oxygen, halogen, hydrogen, or carbon by nitrogen plasma and organic halogen compounds in the exhaust gas by the plasma from the plasma generating unit. The decomposed components are burned by a burner using oxygen from the oxygen-containing gas supply means, hydrogen becomes water vapor, carbon becomes carbon dioxide, and waste gas treatment means together with halogen compounds such as nitrogen, oxygen and hydrogen halide. It is sent to the atmosphere after removing halogen compounds.
[0008]
However, the apparatus disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 8-24559 described above has a problem that unburned carbon, dust, and the like that have been removed accumulate in the apparatus. In addition, in order to rotate the rotating disk, a power source such as a motor is required, which is costly and further increases the size of the apparatus.
[0009]
In addition, in the apparatus disclosed in the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-329015, particularly when used in diesel engines in which light oil or heavy oil is used as fuel for ships, trucks, power generators, etc., the exhaust gas after combustion is used. Since a large amount of unburned carbon is contained, there is a problem that the porous filter is clogged and the unburned carbon cannot be sufficiently removed.
[0010]
Furthermore, although the apparatus disclosed in Japanese Patent No. 29997912 is compact and can efficiently process exhaust gas, it uses a burner and requires fuel, and requires an equipment cost such as an oxygen supply facility. there were. In addition, in order to remove harmful components contained in exhaust gas discharged from vehicles and the like, there has been a disadvantage that it cannot be made compact enough.
[0011]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, in view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention can be detoxified by burning particulate pollutants such as unburned carbon, and can remove remaining floating substances such as unburned carbon and dust, and is released to the atmosphere. It is an object of the present invention to provide an exhaust gas treatment apparatus and an exhaust gas treatment method that can reduce the concentration of gaseous pollutants such as nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas that is produced, and that are cheap and compact.
