【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a fuel cell control system.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A conventional fuel cell control system is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-277136. In this fuel cell stack, a warm-up load is connected to one or two adjacent cells, and power is generated for each cell to warm up.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, since the warm-up load is connected to every one or two cells to gradually warm up the whole, there are the following problems.
1) Electric power cannot be taken out until all cells are warmed up.
2) Since there is no heat generation except in the warming-up cell, the temperature of the cell that is determined to be warming-up end due to heat radiation or the like also decreases.
3) Since each cell is warmed up, a temperature distribution in the fuel cell stack occurs immediately after it is determined that all the cells have been warmed up.
[0004]
An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel cell control system that solves such problems of the prior art.
[0005]
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a fuel cell that receives supply of fuel gas and oxidant gas to generate electric power, an operating state detecting unit that detects an operating state of the fuel cell, and the fuel based on a detected value of the operating state detecting unit It is determined whether or not the battery has been warmed up. When the warming up has not been completed, the flow rate of at least one of the fuel gas and the oxidizing gas to be supplied and the target flow rate of the gas required for the target extraction power And the operation state detecting means is means for detecting at least two of the output voltage, output current, and output power of the fuel cell. The first parameter is an output value detected by one detection means, the second parameter is an output value detected by the other detection means, and the controller Calculating a reference value for a second parameter based on the parameter, it determines the warm-up state of the fuel cell based on a comparison between the reference value and the second parameter.
[0007]
In a second aspect based on the first aspect , the controller controls the operating efficiency of the fuel cell by controlling the pressure of at least one of the fuel gas and the oxidizing gas.
[0011]
According to a third aspect , in the first or second aspect , when the controller returns the operation of the fuel cell to a normal state, the controller returns the operation efficiency with a predetermined delay.
[0012]
In a fourth aspect based on the first aspect , the controller returns the operation to the normal state based on the difference between the second parameter and the reference value when returning the operation of the fuel cell to the normal state.
[0013]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the calorific value of the fuel cell is increased by controlling the gas flow rate of at least one of the fuel gas and the oxidizing gas to reduce the operation efficiency of the fuel cell, and the electric power is loaded. While supplying the fuel cell, it is possible to promote the warm-up of the fuel cell main body without any additional special heat source or device. In addition, since any two of the output current, output voltage, and output current are used as the operating state of the fuel cell, it is possible to detect that the fuel cell is before the end of warm-up without using a special device. I can do it.
[0015]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the pressure of at least one of the fuel gas and the oxidizing gas is controlled in order to reduce the operation efficiency of the fuel cell, this can be realized without adding a special device. Further, for example, the fuel gas path can be realized even when it is difficult to control the flow rate so that the circulation system is configured by using a passive device such as an ejector.
[0018]
According to the invention of claim 3 , it is possible to prevent the operation state from changing suddenly and the output of the fuel cell from becoming unstable by gradually returning the operation state after the warm-up of the fuel cell is completed.
[0019]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, the operating state is gradually returned based on the warm-up state of the fuel cell, so that the fuel cell can be rated at the time when the warm-up is completely completed.

[0047]
In this embodiment, the efficiency control of the fuel cell is performed only with the air (cathode gas) flow rate. However, if the anode gas flow rate is controllable, the same can be performed with the fuel gas.
[0048]
Therefore, by operating the

As a method of reducing the operating efficiency of the fuel cell, the flow rate of at least one of the fuel (anode) gas and the oxidation (cathode) gas is controlled, so there is no need to add a special device, and the cost and weight increase. Can be suppressed.

In addition, it is possible to detect that the fuel cell is before the end of warm-up at low cost without using a special device, because the fuel cell operating state is any one of the output power, output voltage, and output current of the fuel cell. I can do it.

Similarly, the fuel cell operating state is detected from any two of output current, output voltage, and output current, so that the fuel cell is after the warm-up is completed inexpensively without using a special device. Can be detected.

Further, by gradually returning the operation state according to the warm-up state of the fuel cell, the fuel cell can be rated at the time when the warm-up is completed.

In step 230, the actual cathode SR is calculated using the following equation.
[0061]
## EQU1 ##
[0062]
[Equation 1.2]
Here, SR Cathode is the actual cathode SR, Q AIR is the air flow rate [NL / min] measured by the
[0063]
In step 240, the detected value of the output wattmeter 14 of the fuel cell is read.
[0064]
In step 250, a current reference value is calculated. This is calculated from the actual cathode SR and electric power using the fuel cell characteristics measured in advance as shown in FIG. The fuel cell characteristics shown in FIG. 8 show that the SR increases as the current increases for a constant power, and the SR increases as the power increases for a constant current.
[0065]
In step 260, it is determined whether the warm-up of the

[0067]
In step 280, the target pressure (fuel gas or air pressure) set in advance according to the target power is corrected using the following equation.
[0068]
[Formula 2.1]
here,
Pt1: target pressure Pt2 set according to the target power: corrected target pressure κ: an arbitrary constant of 1 or less. However, it may be varied according to the difference between the current reference value and the detected fuel cell output current. By gradually shifting the operation state to the normal operation according to the warm-up state of the
[0069]
Here, as apparent from Equation (2.1), the corrected target pressure Pt2 is equal to or lower than the target pressure Pt1, and the fuel cell is reduced by reducing the pressure of at least one of the fuel gas and air supplied to the fuel cell. By operating with the operation efficiency of 4 lowered, the amount of heat generated by the fuel cell increases while supplying electric power to the load, and the warm-up of the fuel cell body can be promoted without providing a special heat source outside.
[0070]
In step 290, the warm-up incomplete flag is confirmed. If the warm-up incomplete flag is set, the process proceeds to step 300 to perform warm-up end processing. The contents of the warm-up end process are shown in the flowchart of FIG.
[0071]
First, in
[0072]
In step 410, a new corrected target pressure Pt2 is set using the following equation so that the corrected target pressure Pt2 matches the target pressure Pt1.
[0073]
## EQU2 ##
Here, ΔP: constant value.
[0074]
In step 420, the corrected target pressure Pt2 is compared with the target pressure Pt1, and if the target pressure Pt1 is large, the process returns to step 410, and a new corrected target pressure Pt2 is set again using the equation (2.2). This calculation is repeated until the target pressure Pt1 and the corrected target pressure Pt2 become equal. By performing this calculation, a delay can be generated at the end of warm-up, the operating efficiency of the fuel cell can be suddenly changed with a delay at the end of warm-up, and the output of the fuel cell can be unstable. Can be prevented.
[0075]
On the other hand, if they match, the process proceeds to step 430.
[0076]
In
[0077]
In this embodiment, the expression (2.2) is used to restore the target pressure after the warm-up is completed, but a filter such as a first-order lag may be used.
[0078]
Therefore, in the second embodiment, as a method for reducing the operating efficiency of the fuel cell, the pressure of at least one of the fuel gas and air (oxidizing gas) is controlled, so that it is not necessary to additionally provide a special device. Further, for example, the fuel gas path can be implemented even when it is difficult to control the flow rate so that the circulation system is configured by using a passive device such as an ejector.
[0079]
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and it is obvious that various modifications can be made within the scope of the technical idea of the present invention.
