【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、自動販売機に組み付けられる商品選択スイッチなどの押ボタン装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
自動販売機は周知のように屋内だけでなく、風雨に曝される屋外にも設置される。したがって、商品選択スイッチとしてその前面パネルに設置される押ボタン装置には、雨水などが自動販売機内、特にスイッチ回路部に侵入しないように充分な水密性が要求され、要部をシリコーンゴムでシールする技術が、例えば平成8年5月30に登録された実用新案第2506507号(実願昭63−96530号、但しこの公報にはシリコンゴムと記載されている)に提案されている。

しかし、自動販売機の道路へのはみ出し設置が近年厳しく取り締まられるようになって来たので、押ボタン装置を含めた全体の奥行寸法を小さくする必要があるが、前記実用新案第2506507号の押ボタン構造は前面パネルの前面に取り付ける構造であるため、前方への突出量を小さくすることが困難であった。

一方、実開平3−127971号公報には、自動販売機のパネルに開設した穴にパネル前面からスイッチの後部を差し込んで固定する技術が提案されている。このスイッチ構造ではスイッチの前方への突出量が抑えられるが、このスイッチは部材間のシール性が悪いために、内部に雨水が浸入して電気系統や駆動部分でトラブルが発生し易いと云った問題点があった。

したがって、優れたシール性を確保しながら、前方への出っ張り寸法を小さくすることのできる押ボタン装置を提供する必要性があった。

本発明は上記した従来技術の課題を解決するためになされたものであって、自動販売機の前面パネルに開設されたパネル穴に筒状部が前記前面パネルの表側から差し込まれ前側頭部が前記パネル穴と筒状部との間の隙間を覆って前記前面パネルの表面側に外装される押ボタンケースと、この押ボタンケースの筒状部前方に開設した押ボタン穴に前方に抜け落ちないように設置される操作部材と、前記押ボタンケースの筒状部内に背面から挿入設されて光を前方へ導くリフレクタと、前方突出部が前記操作部材の背面凹陥部に嵌め込まれ周辺部が前記押ボタンケースの内面と前記リフレクタとで押圧挟持され前記前方突出部と前記周辺部との中間部の弾力によって前記前方突出部が前記リフレクタと離間して前記操作部材を前後移動可能に保持するケース内シール部材と、このケース内シール部材の背面から後方へそれぞれ延設される棒状スイッチ機能部及び透光性棒状部と、前記リフレクタを通り抜けた前記棒状スイッチ機能部により開閉動作されるスイッチ回路と前記リフレクタに挿入された前記透光性棒状部に対峙する発光ダイオードとを有して前記パネルの背面側に設置される基板と、前記前面パネルの背面側で前記基板を支持し前記押ボタンケースの筒状部外面の傾斜突起又は前記リフレクタのフックと具備する穴との係合によって前記押ボタンケースの前側頭部とで前記前面パネルを挟持する押ボタン取付部材とを備えるようにした第1の構成の押ボタン装置と、

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施形態を、図面に基づいて説明する。
自動販売機200に使用される本発明の押ボタン装置100は、図1に示したように、自動販売機200の透明な前面パネル201の表面側から取り付けられる押ボタンケース1、リング状シール部材であるOリング2、操作部材としてのキートップ3、ケース内シール部材4、ケース内固定部材としてのリフレクタ5と、前面パネル201の背面側から取り付けられる押ボタン取付部材6、基板7、基板取付部材8とからなる。

押ボタンケース1は、貫通した押ボタン穴10が列設された板状部11と、押ボタン穴10を囲繞して板状部11の背面から後方に延設された複数の筒状部12とを有する。この筒状部12は、自動販売機200の前面パネル201に列設されたパネル穴202と同一ピッチで、且つ、挿入可能に外径が僅かに細く形成される。

押ボタンケース1の板状部11は、その背面側に各筒状部12を囲繞する浅い溝13を備えて、少なくとも押ボタン穴10が開設されている部分は前面パネル201のパネル穴202より大きく形成され、溝13それぞれに硬質ゴムなどの弾性体からなるOリング2が嵌め込まれて、自動販売機200への装着時における前面パネル201と押ボタンケース1との間の水密性が確保される。

キートップ3は、例えば透明なプラスチックからなり、その筒状体の前端は閉塞され、開口した後端下部を除く部分からは前記張出部16が外方に延設され、押ボタンケース1の開口した筒状部12の後端から挿入されたときに、張出部16が押ボタンケース1の第1の垂直壁14に係合して押ボタン穴10から前方への脱落が防止できるようになっている。

ケース内シール部材4は、中央部がキートップ3の凹陥した内側と同形に前方に突出形成され、この前方突出部17がキートップ3の凹陥部に嵌め込まれ、その周辺部分が押ボタンケース1の第2の垂直壁15とリフレクタ5の前端とで挟持され、傾斜した中間部18の弾力によって、キートップ3を押ボタン穴10から前方に押し出す方向に作用する力で浮かせて保持すると共に、キートップ3を押ボタン穴10の内側に1mm前後押し込むことがことができるように形成されている。

このケース内シール部材4は弾力性、耐久性、光透過性などを考慮して、半透明のシリコーン樹脂で形成される。また、ケース内シール部材4は、後端部に導電性材料を有して前方突出部17の背面から基板7の方向に直角に延設された棒状スイッチ機能部(これが「課題を解決するための手段」でスイッチ機能部材と云ったものに該当する)19、20と、棒状スイッチ機能部19、20よりは短い透光性棒状部21、22とを有し、透光性棒状部21が延設されている前方突出部17の表面側には販売中を意味する○印23が、透光性棒状部22が延設されている前方突出部17の表面側には売り切れ表示24が印刷されている。

なお、これらの印刷は赤色を全面に途布し、さらにその上に所要の文字・図形などを黒抜き印刷することで、透光性棒状部21、22それぞれの先端部が対峙する部分の基板7に設けた発光ダイオード25、26の点灯時にも内部が透けて見えないように構成されている。

リフレクタ5は不透明なプラスチックなどからなり、前方の略円形をした外周部に設けられた複数の傾斜突起27と、左右一対のレ型のフック28、29とを有し、押ボタンケース1の筒状部12に開設された複数の係合穴30に対応する傾斜突起27を嵌合させることで、押ボタンケース1に取り付けられる。

上記した自動販売機200の前面パネル201にその前面側から組み付けられる押ボタンケース1、Oリング2、キートップ3、ケース内シール部材4およびリフレクタ5の5部品は、プリセットされた状態で自動販売機200の前面パネル201に組み付けられる。

すなわち、Oリング2は押ボタンケース1の溝13に筒状部12の側から嵌め込まれ、キートップ3は押ボタンケース1の筒状部12の後部開口端から挿入されて押ボタン穴10に嵌められ、このキートップ3の内側にケース内シール部材4が同様にその前方突出部17を嵌め込まれて挿入され、この状態でリフレクタ5の傾斜突起27を押ボタンケース1の係合穴30に嵌め込ませることで一体化される。

一方、前面パネル201の背面側から設置される押ボタン取付部材6は、前板40と、この前板40の上下両端部から後方に延設された上板41と下板42とから断面コ字状に形成されて補強されており、前面パネル201のパネル穴202と同一ピッチで前板40に列設された穴43それぞれの左右の前板40にリフレクタ5の左右一対のレ型のフック28、29が係合して、押ボタンケース1が自動販売機200の前面パネル201に取り付けられる。

この取付時に、自動販売機200の前面パネル201と押ボタンケース1とはその間に介在するOリング2が変形するように密着設置されて、前面パネル201と押ボタンケース1との間がOリング2によってシールされる。なお、上板41には穴44が、下板42には穴45が列設されている。

そして、この基板7の前面パネル201背面への装着時に、ケース内シール部材4の棒状スイッチ機能部19、20の導電性の後端それぞれがリフレクタ5の隙間34、35を通り抜けて基板7のスイッチ回路46a、46bの前方約0.5mmに位置し、透光性棒状部21、22それぞれが穴32、33に挿入されて基板7の発光ダイオード25、26に対峙するように構成されている。

また、基板7のスイッチ回路46と発光ダイオード25、26は自動販売機200の図示しない制御器と接続され、この制御器が出力する制御信号によってスイッチ回路46毎に発光ダイオート25、26の何れか一方が商品の在庫状態に応じて点灯すると共に、発光ダイオート25が点灯しているときに所要の額面の貨幣が図示しない貨幣投入口から投入され、対応する押ボタンスイッチのキートップ3が押ボタン穴10の内側に押し込まれて、棒状スイッチ機能部19、20の少なくとも何れか一方の後端の導電性部分がスイッチ回路46に接したときにはスイッチ回路46が閉成し、これにより自動販売機200の図示しない制御器に制御信号が送信されて所要の商品の販売動作が行われるようになっている。

なお、発光ダイオート25、26が点灯すると、発光ダイオート25、26から出た光は透光性棒状部21、22にその後端部から進入し、屈折率が空気より大きい透光性棒状部21、22の光ファイバー効果によって外部に漏れることなく前方に案内され、ケース内シール部材4の前方突出部17の表面に印刷した○印23または売り切れ表示24の何れか一方が明るく照らし出される。

上記構成の本発明の押ボタン装置100においては、上記したように押ボタンケース1にOリング2と、キートップ3と、ケース内シール部材4と、リフレクタ5とをプリセットすると共に、自動販売機200の前面パネル201の背面側から取り付ける押ボタン取付部材6、基板7および基板取付部材8も、基板7を取り付けた基板取付部材8を押ボタン取付部材6に係合させてプリセットし、2部品として前面パネル201の表面側と背面側から対抗設置し、両者をプレス機などで押圧嵌合させて取り付けることができるので、これら部品を一つづつ取り付ける場合に比較して自動販売機200の生産性が格段に向上する。

また、本発明の押ボタン装置100においては、リフレクタ5の上板37と下板39の穴36、38と、押ボタン取付部材6の上板41、下板42の穴44、45とは図14に示した位置関係で開設されているので、商品販売に供されていて破損するなどして現地で交換修理する必要が生じたときには、自動販売機200の前面パネル201が撓み易い合成樹脂製であっても穴36と穴37、あるいは穴38と穴45、あるいは穴36と穴37および穴38と穴45とにドライバー54などを差し通し、押ボタン取付部材6(または組み付けられた基板取付部材8)の背面を押さえながらリフレクタ5を矢印方向に引っ張ることで、リフレクタ5の左右一対のフック28、29が押ボタン取付部材6の前板40に簡単に係合し、押ボタンケース1などが自動販売機200の前面パネル201に密着して取り付けられるので、一人のサービス員による出張修理が可能となる。

【発明の効果】
以上説明したように本発明の押ボタン装置においては、自動販売機などの商品選択手段として組み付け使用する場合には、前面パネルに開設したボタン取付穴の内側に大半の部品が収納されるので、前方への突出幅は小さくなり、狭いところにも設置可能となった。また、部品同士の間のシールをケース内シール部材で行い、自動販売機の前面パネルとの間のシールをリング状シール部材(Oリング)で行うので、シール性が良い。

また、前面パネルから前方への突出幅が小さく抑えられたので、押ボタン装置の部分には埃が溜り難く、清潔な状態が長く保てると共に、突起部分に手を引っ掛けて負傷すると云った懸念がなくなったので、前面パネルや押ボタン装置の汚れを拭き取る作業が短時間で行えるようになった。

なお、前面パネルの表面側に外装される押ボタンケースの前側頭部や、操作部材(キートップ)の外周部分に丸みを設けることで、突起部分に手を引っ掛けて負傷する懸念がなくなると云った前記作用効果は一層顕著になる。

また、パネル穴が列設された前面パネルを長い押ボタンケースと押ボタン取付部材とで挟持する構造の押ボタン装置においては、前面パネルを補強する作用効果が大きく、したがって前面パネルの薄板化が図れると云った特長がある。

また、一つの押ボタンケースに複数の筒状部が設けられ、この押ボタンケースに一つの押ボタン取付部材と一つの基板が対応設置される構造の押ボタン装置においては、生産性が極めて高くなり、コスト削減効果が一層顕著となる。これは、リフレクタの傾斜突起が押ボタンケースの筒状部の係合穴に嵌合させることによって、弾性部材の周辺部が押圧挟持されて、押ボタンケースと操作部材との間が水密状態になる組み立てができ、更に、予め組み立てた二つの部品が、パネルを挟んで押ボタンケースの筒状部又はリフレクタと押ボタン取付部材とが係合することによって、リング状シール部材が変形して押ボタンケースの前側頭部と押ボタン取付部材との間にパネルを挟持してパネルに取り付けられるため、防水機能が要求される押ボタン装置の組み立てがし易きものとなるものである。
