これらはいずれもMP3(MPEG−1 Audio Layer−III)形式で圧縮された圧縮音声信号で成るファイルである。
【0052】
【0106】
なお、本実施の形態では、音声信号の圧縮形式としてMP3を用いたが、これに限るものでなく、TwinVQ(周波数領域重み付きインターリーブ・ベクトル量子化)、ASF(Advanced Streaming Format)等、他の圧縮形式を採用してもよい。
【0107】

[Field of the Invention]
The present invention relates to a portable mixing recording apparatus that can input a sound signal with a microphone or the like while monitoring the recorded sound signal and mix it to produce music, a control method therefor, and a program.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, music devices with improved portability have been realized by advances in audio compression technology, electronic component miniaturization technology, and the like. For example, in a portable MP3 player using MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer-III) as a compression technique, a WAV file formed by digitally sampling audio signals such as music performance and singing is encoded and compressed in the MP3 format. By storing the file in flash memory etc., you can enjoy playback on the go such as outdoors. Moreover, in the portable karaoke apparatus disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-338984, an audio signal file encoded and stored in the MP3 format is expanded and reproduced, and at the same time, a real voice is input from a microphone, By mixing and playing, you can enjoy karaoke performance of the desired song on the go.
[0003]
All of these devices are intended for reproduction and do not record and store audio signals input from a microphone or the like, but there are also devices that enable recording and storage. For example, a portable MP3 recorder has an analog input terminal, A / D converts audio signals from a cassette tape recorder, radio, etc., further encodes in MP3 format, and stores the compressed file as an audio signal file. be able to.
[0004]
However, this portable MP3 recorder cannot perform mixing recording in which a large number of input signals are multiplexed. As a music apparatus capable of mixing, for example, a double radio cassette player is known. In this double radio cassette player, while a musical sound is reproduced in one cassette, an audio input signal from a microphone or an external input terminal can be mixed with this to perform multiple recording in the other cassette.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In general, when considering music production by overdubbing or the like on the go, recording and mixing functions are required while maintaining sound quality. However, since the portable MP3 player and the portable karaoke apparatus are exclusively for reproduction and cannot record input audio signals, and the portable MP3 recorder cannot be mixed, neither is suitable for music production. In addition, the double radio cassette cassette is repeatedly unmixed by repeating the mixing with the analog signal of the musical tone, so the sound quality is severely deteriorated by a large number of times of mixing, which is also not suitable for music production.
[0006]
On the other hand, a 4-channel MD multi-channel recorder using MD is known as an apparatus for music production purposes (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-77757). In this multi-channel recorder, a signal by line input can be A / D converted and voice-compressed and recorded on the MD. For example, after overdubbing several parts, mix them and move them to an empty channel (ping-pong recording). If there are many parts, record another part on the channel that was freed by ping-pong recording. Finally, you can mix down to all channels.
[0007]
However, in the multi-channel recorder, when performing ping-pong recording, the digital audio signal recorded in the MD is converted into an analog audio signal and then mixed with the signal (analog audio signal) by line input, and therefore ping-pong recording is repeated. If this happens, there is a problem that the sound quality deteriorates. The multi-channel recorder is a stationary type and is not suitable for music production on the go.
[0008]
In the multi-channel recorder, even when a line-input audio signal is recorded on one MD channel, the audio signals recorded on a plurality of MD channels are mixed to another one channel. Even in the case of ping-pong recording, the recording instruction is performed by one key called a recording key.
[0009]
However, if an instruction for normal recording (recording a line-input audio signal to one channel) and an instruction for ping-pong recording are used together with a single key called a recording key, the user cannot distinguish both instructions at a glance. , There is a risk of losing the operation you want to do now.
[0010]
Furthermore, using the multi-channel recorder, as shown in FIG. 13, overdubbing (mixing recording) is performed on a line-input audio signal (performance signal) to a part of an audio signal (source file) recorded on a certain channel. ), The user starts mixing recording at the same time as starting the playback of the source file, and while monitoring the source file, waits for the recording to proceed to the position where overdubbing is desired, and recording proceeds to that position. At that point, you need to start playing.
[0011]
However, when a performance signal to be overdubbed is input by line by picking up a performance sound generated by a user playing a musical instrument with a microphone, a sound other than the performance sound may be picked up during performance standby. For this reason, the user needs to be careful not to make a noise during the performance standby, and thus may not be able to concentrate on the performance.
[0012]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems of the prior art, and its purpose is to easily produce music by overdubbing while preventing deterioration of sound quality as much as possible without being restricted by excessive location. An object of the present invention is to provide a portable mixing recording apparatus, a control method thereof, and a program that can be performed.
[0013]
In order to achieve the above object, the portable mixing recording apparatus according to
[0014]
According to this configuration, when the recording instruction unit is operated by the user, the digital audio signal input and converted by the input conversion unit is recorded in the memory, while when the mixing recording instruction unit is operated by the user, The digital audio signal input and converted by the input conversion means and the digital audio signal reproduced by reading the source file stored in the memory by the reproducing means are mixed and recorded in the memory. In this way, recording instruction means for instructing recording of the input digital audio signal to the memory, and mixing for instructing recording of the input digital audio signal and the digital audio signal reproduced by the reproducing means to record to the memory Since the recording instruction means is composed of separate recording instruction means, the user can perform his / her intended recording by a simple operation of operating the corresponding recording instruction means. The ambiguity for disappears and the operability is improved.
[0015]
Note that the predetermined memory may be constituted by a removable storage medium, and for example, a memory card or the like is suitable.
[0017]
According to this configuration, since the mixed digital audio signal is compressed and converted into a compressed audio signal and stored, the memory capacity can be reduced, which contributes to improvement in portability. Therefore, music production by overdubbing or the like can be easily performed while preventing deterioration of sound quality as much as possible without being restricted by excessive locations.
[0018]
In order to achieve the above object, a portable mixing recording apparatus according to
[0019]
According to this configuration, after the reproduction of the digital audio signal is paused by the pause instruction unit, when the mixing recording instruction unit is operated by the user, the input conversion unit inputs and converts from the paused position. The reproduced digital audio signal and the digital audio signal reproduced by reading the source file stored in the memory by the reproducing means are mixed and recorded in the memory. In this way, when you want to make mixing recording to only a part of the source file, the part you do not want to make mixing recording is only played back, and it is not in the mixing recording standby state like the conventional device. In addition, there is no room for signals other than audio signals to be mixed and recorded, and the user can concentrate only on mixing recording such as performances.
