従来の天井埋込形空気調和機は、図7にて示すように、化粧パネルの四辺に設けた吹出口の内のいくつかを遮蔽する板状の遮風断熱材18を、化粧パネル10の裏面の吹出口12の入口の周囲に形成した前記遮風断熱材18の厚さ分の深さの嵌合凹部30に嵌合し、前記化粧パネル10を前記天井埋込形空気調和機本体5の下面に取付けることにより、前記遮風断熱材18を取り付けていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、近年デザイン上の観点から見た目をスッキリさせるために、前記化粧パネルを薄くする傾向にあるが、上記構成では、前記遮風断熱材の厚さ分、前記遮風断熱材が前記化粧パネル側に入り込む必要があり、前記化粧パネルが薄形化するとそのスペースを確保することが困難であるという問題点が生じていた。
本発明においては、上記の問題点に鑑み、化粧パネルの四辺に設けた吹出口の内のいくつかを遮蔽する遮風断熱材を、化粧パネルの厚さ等に依存することなく取付けることができる天井埋込形空気調和機を提供することを目的とする。

本発明は、上記課題を解決するため、天井裏に懸吊した天井埋込形空気調和機本体と、天井下面に当接するように前記本体下面に装着した化粧パネルと、同化粧パネルの四辺に設けた風向板を備えた吹出口の内のいくつかに、前記本体下面と前記化粧パネルとの間に挟持するように遮風断熱材を装着することにより、前記吹出口の数を制限してなる天井埋込形空気調和機において、
前記遮風断熱材を、前記本体下面に開口した吹出通路内に嵌合する嵌入部と、前記本体下面と前記化粧パネルとの間に挟持するフランジ部とで構成する一方、同フランジ部に当接して密閉するシール材を、前記化粧パネルの裏面全周に貼着した構成となっている。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1乃至図6にて示す本発明の実施例により、本発明の実施の形態について説明する。
先ず、図1乃至図3にて示す、本発明の第一の実施例について説明する。
図1と図2に示すように、5は天井1の上方の屋根裏壁面2に、同屋根裏壁面2に埋め込んだ吊りボルト3と吊りナット4により懸吊した天井埋込形空気調和機本体で、同本体5の下面6には中央に吸込ベルマウス7が開口し、同吸込ベルマウス7の周囲に異なる方向を向いた四つの吹出通路8の開口部9が設けられている。10は天井1の下面に当接するように前記本体5の下面6に装着した化粧パネルで、同化粧パネル10の中央には吸込グリル11、外周部四辺には前記四つの開口部9に対応し、風向板13を備えた四つの吹出口12が設けられている。
前記吸込グリル11の上面にはフィルタ14が設けられ、更に上方にはモータ16にて駆動される送風ファン15が設けられ、同送風ファン15の外周には熱交換器17が設けられている。
前記送風ファン15にて、前記吸込グリル11より室内空気を前記フィルタ14にて濾過して吸い込み、前記熱交換器17にて熱交換した空気を前記吹出口12より吹き出す。
図2と図3に示すように、前記四つの吹出口12の内、設置条件等により吹き出しを止めたい吹出口12に、黒色の発泡ポリエチレン等の発泡素材にて形成した遮風断熱材18を装着する。同遮風断熱材18は、前記吹出通路8に嵌合する嵌入部19と、前記本体5の下面6と前記化粧パネル10との間に挟持するフランジ部20とで構成されている。同フランジ部20が当接する前記化粧パネル10の裏面全周には、吹出空気と吸込空気とが漏れないように発泡ポリウレタンフォーム等にて形成したシール材21が両面接着剤等により貼り付けられている。
前記フランジ部20の厚さt1は、前記シール材21の厚さt2より十分薄くすることにより、前記フランジ部20が無い前記化粧パネル10裏面の四隅の部分においても、前記シール材21の復元力により前記本体5の下面6と確実に密着するため、吹出空気と吸込空気との漏れを確実に防止することができる。
また、前記遮風断熱材18に、黒色の素材を用いることにより、前記吹出口12を見たときに前記遮風断熱材18が目立たず外観を損なうことがない。

次に、図4にて示す、本発明の第二の実施例について説明する。
上記第一の実施例とは、遮風断熱材の構成と、同遮風断熱材を挟持する部分の構成とが異なる。
遮風断熱材18は、嵌入部19とフランジ部20とを夫々発泡スチロール等のシート状発泡素材を必要サイズの板状に切り出し、切り出した前記嵌入部19と前記フランジ部20とを両面接着剤等により上下に貼り合わせて形成することにより、前記遮風断熱材18をビク型等の安価な初期投資にて作製することができるため、コスト的に安価なものとすることができる。
なお、前記フランジ部20を形成するシート状発泡素材を発泡スチロール等で黒色の素材が入手できない場合は、同シート状発泡素材の一面のみに黒色を吹き付け塗装したり、黒色フィルムをラミネートしたりすることにより、前記吹出口12に面した下面側を黒色とすることができる。
また、前記本体5の下面6に、前記フランジ部20が嵌合する嵌合凹部22を形成することにより、同フランジ部20がある程度厚くても、前記シール材21の気密性を阻害することのない構成とすることができる。

次に、図5と図6にて示す、本発明の第三の実施例について説明する。
上記第一の実施例とは、遮風断熱材の構成が異なる。
遮風断熱材18の下面に、風向板13が傾動したときに干渉しないように凹部23を形成することにより、化粧パネル10がより薄くなったり、風向板13が大きくなったりした場合でも、前記遮風断熱材18と前記風向板13とが干渉することのない構成とすることができる。

以上説明したように、本発明によれば、化粧パネルの四辺に設けた吹出口の内のいくつかを遮蔽する遮風断熱材を、化粧パネルの厚さ等に依存することなく取付けることができる天井埋込形空気調和機となる。
