BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an engine oil passage structure, and more particularly to an engine oil passage structure for driving a compressor of a refrigerator or an air conditioner.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Oil is circulated in order to smoothly operate the rotating part and sliding part of each part of the engine. This oil is usually supplied to each part through an oil passage from an oil pump provided in an oil pan at the lower part of the crank chamber. On the other hand, a refrigerating machine, a gas heat pump, or other air conditioner having an air conditioning switching heat cycle has a compressor for refrigerant compression, and an overhead valve (OHV) type single cylinder or multiple cylinder engine is used to drive the compressor. It is used.
[0003]
An engine for driving such an air conditioner is installed, for example, in a machine room of a building, and the cylinder is almost horizontal to effectively use the space above the engine and lower the position of the center of gravity to suppress the influence of vibration and the like. It is arranged horizontally. In such a horizontal engine for driving an air conditioner, an anti-torque balancer is provided in the crank chamber in parallel with the crankshaft to suppress vibration and noise due to torque fluctuation particularly in the low-speed rotation region. An engine that extends the operable range to a low speed range has been researched and developed by the present applicant and has not been proposed yet.
[0004]
The crank chamber of the engine equipped with such a balancer includes a first case integrated with a cylinder block that constitutes the back and outer peripheral walls of the crank chamber, and a second case that constitutes the front wall of the crank chamber. It is configured in combination with a case. Oil is supplied to rotating parts such as a crankshaft, a camshaft and a valve driving tappet shaft, and a rotating shaft part of the balancer through an oil passage formed in the wall of the crank chamber. Such an oil passage is formed in the crank chamber wall in the machining process, and then subjected to an impregnation process for filling casting defects with a water glass material and a pressure inspection process for inspecting oil leakage, etc. To improve engine performance and smooth engine operation.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventionally proposed engine, oil passages are formed in both the first case and the second case constituting the wall of the crank chamber, and oil is supplied to each part of the engine. For this reason, the machining process becomes cumbersome, both casting molds are complicated and expensive, and both cases have to be subjected to an impregnation process and a pressure inspection process, which increases the number of manufacturing processes and increases the productivity. Will come down. In addition, since oil passages are formed for both the first and second cases, there is a risk that processing errors, assembly errors, etc. may occur in both cases, leading to a decrease in yield.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in consideration of the above points.
