本発明は、広告、宣伝目的のために車両に備え付けられる車両用広告装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
トラックなどの荷物積載コンテナの側面には、積載している荷物の広告や宣伝のために、当該荷物に関連する図柄などを表示することが行われている。例えば、ビールを搬送するためのトラックであれば、荷物積載コンテナの側面に当該ビールの図柄を施したり、テレビコマーシャル映像の一部を表示したりすることが行われている。従来、これらは、コンテナの側面に直接塗装により表示するか、あるいは広告を表示したフィルム状物を貼着して表示することが一般的である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来行われているトラックなどの車両を用いた上記広告、宣伝技術は、そのトラックなどによって搬送される荷物が常に同じ場合には問題ない。しかしながら、搬送される荷物が一定しない用途で用いられるトラックの場合には、積載荷物の種類とコンテナ側面に表示される広告対象物とが一致しないことが起こり得る。従って、この種の積載荷物に関連した広告表示手段は、表示された広告に対応した特定の荷物を搬送するメーカー所有のトラックなどで用いられているに過ぎず、積載荷物が種々変更される運送業者等の所有、管理するトラックではあまり普及していない。運送業者等の所有するトラックに、このような積載荷物に関連した広告表示を付した場合には、そのトラックは、実質上、表示された広告に対応した荷物を搬送する場合しか用いることができず、トラックの稼働効率の低下を招く。

もっとも、コンテナに直接塗装するのではなく、広告が表示されたフィルム状物を貼着する手段の場合には、このフィルム状物を貼り替えることで対応することは可能である。しかしながら、コンテナ側面からフィルム状物を剥がし、他のフィルム状物を貼着する作業は決して容易ではなく、しわや浮き上がりなどを生じさせずに貼着するには時間が掛かり、また熟練を要する。

本発明は上記に鑑みなされたものであり、運送業者等が所有、管理するトラックなど、車両の保有者の業務に拘わらず、積載荷物に対応した広告表示を可能とすることができ、各業者の保有するトラックなどの車両の稼働効率を低下させることなく、積載荷物の広告、宣伝効率を向上させることができる車両用広告装置を提供することを課題とする。また、本発明は、熟練を要することなく、短時間できわめて容易に広告の種類を変更することができる車両用広告装置を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記した課題を解決するため、請求項１記載の本発明では、車両の任意部位であって、外部から視認可能な位置に設けられると共に、複数種類の広告を交互に表示可能に設けられた広告表示手段と、
車両に積載される荷物の搬入・搬出口付近に設置され、荷物に付設された荷物識別部の情報を読み込み、当該荷物の種類を認識する荷物認識処理手段と、
前記荷物認識処理手段により認識された前記荷物の種類の情報と、荷物の種類毎に対応させてデータ記憶部に記憶されている広告特定情報とを比較し、前記荷物の種類の情報に対応する広告特定情報を読み出し、当該広告特定情報により特定された広告を前記広告表示手段に表示させる広告表示制御手段と
を具備することを特徴とする車両用広告装置を提供する。
請求項２記載の本発明では、車両の任意部位であって、外部から視認可能な位置に設けられると共に、複数種類の広告を交互に表示可能に設けられた広告表示手段と、
車両に積載される荷物の搬入・搬出口付近に設置され、荷物に付設された荷物識別部の情報を読み込み、当該荷物の種類を認識する荷物認識処理手段と、
前記荷物認識処理手段により認識された前記荷物の種類の情報と、荷物の種類毎に対応させてデータ記憶部に記憶されている広告特定情報とを比較し、前記荷物の種類の情報に対応する広告特定情報を読み出し、当該広告特定情報により特定された広告を前記広告表示手段に表示させる広告表示制御手段と

を具備することを特徴とする車両用広告装置を提供する。
請求項３記載の本発明では、前記広告表示制御手段は、予め記憶された各広告の表示時間の情報を読み込み、各広告の表示時間が経過する毎に、広告表示手段に表示させる広告の種類を変更するように制御する広告変更制御手段を備えていることを特徴とする請求項１又は２記載の車両用広告装置を提供する。
請求項４記載の本発明では、前記広告表示制御手段は、前記データ記憶部に記憶された各広告の広告料の情報を読み込み、各広告の表示時間を前記広告料に比例して決定する表示時間決定手段を具備することを特徴とする請求項１〜３のいずれか１に記載の車両用広告装置を提供する。
請求項５記載の本発明では、前記広告表示手段が、外部から視認される表示面の位置を変更することにより、該表示面に表れる広告の種類を変更可能な構成を有するフィルム型表示装置と、このフィルム型表示装置の表示面を照らす電照装置とを具備して構成されていることを特徴とする請求項１〜４のいずれか１に記載の車両用広告装置を提供する。
請求項６記載の本発明では、前記広告表示手段が、車両の荷物積載コンテナに設けられていることを特徴とする請求項１〜５のいずれか１に記載の車両用広告装置を提供する。

（作用）
本発明の車両用広告装置によれば、まず、荷物認識処理手段により、トラックの荷物積載コンテナなどに積載される荷物の種類を認識する。荷物認識処理手段により認識された荷物の種類に関する情報を、広告表示制御手段が受信すると、広告表示制御手段が、荷物積載コンテナの側面など、外部から視認可能な位置に設けられた広告表示手段により表示する広告を特定する。そして、広告表示手段においては、例えば、フィルム型表示装置の場合には、広告表示制御手段からの指令に基づき、その駆動部が動作して、当該特定された広告を表示する。あるいは、広告表示手段が、液晶ディスプレイなどのような画像表示装置の場合には、広告表示制御手段から送られる情報に基づき特定の広告画像を表示する。車両に積載される荷物の種類が荷物認識処理手段により把握される構成であるため、車両保有者の業種に拘わらず、荷物の種類に対応した広告表示が迅速に可能となる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施形態を図面に基づいて更に詳しく説明する。図１は、本発明の一の実施形態に係る車両用広告装置１を搭載した車両１０を示している。この車両１０は、トラックであり、その荷物積載コンテナ１１の側面に、車両用広告装置１を構成する広告表示手段２が設けられている。本実施形態では、このように、車両１０としてトラックを用いているが、車両用広告装置１を搭載可能な車両としては、荷物を搬送する用途に供せられるものである限り、トラックに限定されるものではないことはもちろんであり、バンタイプの車両のほか、セダンタイプ等であっても可能である。また、広告表示手段２を取り付ける部位は、その大きさや構造（例えば、フィルム型表示装置であるか液晶表示装置であるかなど）、さらには法規制等による制約もあるが、外部から視認可能で、表示することにより人が広告を把握できる部位であれば特に限定されるものではない。例えば、バンタイプやセダンタイプの車両であればその天井部や、あるいは本実施形態のように荷物積載コンテナ１１を有するトラックにおいても、荷物積載コンテナ１１の天井部や後面等に設けることができる。

本実施形態の車両用広告装置１は、図３に示したように、上記の広告表示手段２のほか、荷物認識処理手段３、広告表示制御手段４を有している。

広告表示手段２は、複数種類の広告を所定のタイミングで交互に表示可能なものであればいかなるものであってもよい。例えば、図２に示したように、所定の大きさを有するフィルム２１に対し、その長さ方向に複数種類の広告を適宜の間隔で印刷する。例えば、長さ１ｍに亘ってワインを注いだグラスの図柄２１ａを印刷し、次の１ｍの長さにおいてはワインボトルの図柄２１ｂを印刷し、さらに、アイスクリームの図柄２１ｃを印刷するなどする。このようにして、複数種類の広告が印刷されたフィルム２１を、所定間隔（例えば、１ｍ）離間して配置された２本のローラ２２，２３の一方に巻き付けておき、駆動部２４の駆動によって他方のローラ２３に巻き取る構成とすることによりフィルム型表示装置が形成される。従って、他方のローラ２３を巻き取り駆動させることにより、２本のローラ２２，２３間には、最初にグラスの図柄２１ａが表れ、続いてワインボトルの図柄２１ｂが表れ、これをさらに巻き取ると、アイスクリームの図柄２１ｃが表れる表示面が形成される。この表示面に対し、その後方あるいは側方から電照装置２５を用いて光を供給すると、表示面に表れている図柄が強調されて外部からの視認性を高める。このような構成から成るフィルム型表示装置と電照装置とを、薄型パネル状に形成されたフレームに収容してユニット化することにより、図１で示したように、荷物積載コンテナ１１の側面に形成した取り付け孔１１ａに嵌め合わせて容易に取り付けることができる。

上記した広告表示手段２はもちろん一例であり、フィルム型表示装置といっても、フィルムに印刷した広告を交互で表示できるものである限り、上記のほか、種々のタイプのものを用いることができる。また、フィルム型表示装置を用いるのではなく、液晶表示装置などのような画像表示装置を用いることももちろん可能である。

荷物認識処理手段３は、積載された荷物の種類を認識し、その情報を広告表示制御手段４に送信可能なものであればよい。具体的には、積載される荷物に付設された荷物の種類を特定する情報を含んでなる荷物識別部の情報を読み込み、当該荷物の種類を認識する手段である。例えば、荷物識別部が荷物に付設されたバーコードの場合は、そのバーコードを読み取るバーコード読み取り装置、荷物に付設されたＲＦ−ＩＤやトランスポンダーなどの各種の無線式送受信機の場合には、それらに記憶された情報を受信する装置である。荷物認識処理手段３は、例えば、荷物積載コンテナ１１の荷物の搬入・搬出口付近に設置され、搬入・搬出される荷物の状況を認識する。

広告表示制御手段４は、上記した荷物認識処理手段３から送信される電気信号や画像情報を受信し、その情報に基づいて、広告表示手段２に対し、積載されている荷物に対応した広告を表示させるマイクロコンピュータなどから構成される。例えば、広告表示制御手段４に、予め、広告表示手段２に印刷された広告の種類、大きさ、印刷位置などの広告特定情報を記憶させておく。そして、荷物認識処理手段３から送られてきた積載荷物の情報と広告特定情報とを比較し、一致した広告特定情報を読み出して、当該広告の大きさや印刷位置の情報を基に、例えば、広告表示手段２を構成するフィルム型表示装置の巻き取りローラの回転量を換算して、それに対応する駆動時間を電気信号としてフィルム型表示装置の駆動部２４に送信する構成とすることができる。この結果、フィルム型表示装置は、ローラ２２，２３間の表示面に積載荷物に対応した広告が位置することになる。

また、広告表示手段２が液晶表示装置などの画像表示装置である場合には、広告表示制御手段４は、各種の広告を記憶した広告記憶部が液晶表示装置のデータ記憶部に設定されている場合には、そのデータ記憶部に対してアクセスし、積載荷物に対応する広告情報の読み出しを行う構成とすることができる。もちろん、各種の広告を記憶した広告記憶部は、広告表示制御手段４の有するデータ記憶部に設定しておくこともできる。

本実施形態によれば、荷物認識処理手段３を有するため、荷物積載コンテナ１１に積載される荷物を認識することができる。従って、この荷物認識処理手段３による情報に基づいて、広告表示制御手段４により広告表示手段２を制御することにより、積載荷物に対応した広告を容易に表示することができる。例えば、積載される荷物がワインである場合には、荷物認識処理手段３からの情報に基づき、広告表示手段２に対して広告表示制御手段４からワインを注いだグラスの印刷された広告を表示面に位置させるような制御情報が送られる。一方、積載される荷物がワインからアイスクリームに変更された場合には、荷物認識処理手段３及び広告表示制御手段４を介して送られる情報に基づき、広告表示手段２の表示面には、アイスクリームの図柄が表示されることになる。従って、本実施形態によれば、積載される荷物に対応して表示する広告を変更可能であるため、運送業者の保有するトラックなどのように各種の荷物を運搬する用に供される車両であっても、同じトラックを用いていながら、積載される荷物に対応した広告表示が可能となり、保有トラックの稼働効率を向上させることができる。

図４は、本発明の他の実施形態に係る車両用広告装置１を示す構成図である。本実施形態においては、上記実施形態と同様の構成の広告表示手段２、荷物認識処理手段３及び広告表示制御手段４のほか、表示時間カウント手段５及び表示時間記憶部６を備えている。

表示時間カウント手段５は、各広告が表示された時間を計数する計時装置等から構成され、また、表示時間記憶部６は、計数された時間を各広告ごとに順次記憶しておく磁気式、光学式などの各種記憶媒体などから構成される。表示時間カウント手段５及び表示時間記憶部６は、それぞれが独立したハードウエア構成であってもよいが、もちろん、両者を一体的に収容した一つのハードウエア構成であってもよい。また、表示時間カウント手段５及び表示時間記憶部６のいずれか一方、あるいは両方とも、広告表示制御手段４の構成部材として含めることもできる。

本実施形態によれば、上記実施形態と同様に、荷物認識処理手段３及び広告表示制御手段４を介して、積載した荷物に対応した広告が表示される。しかしながら、これだけの構成では、積載した荷物に対応した広告を表示できるという目的は達成できるものの、車両用広告装置１を搭載する車両１０は、常に移動するものであるため、各荷物の広告スポンサーにおいて、自己の積載荷物に対応した広告が、自ら確認し得ない範囲においても広告されているかどうかを把握することが困難である。これに対し、本実施形態によれば、表示時間カウント手段５によって各広告の表示時間が計数され、かつその結果が表示時間記憶部６に記憶されている。従って、表示時間記憶部６に記憶されている情報を、日毎、週毎、月毎など任意の期間を区切って読み出すことにより、広告スポンサーに対し、当該広告スポンサーに係る広告の表示時間を知らせることができ、広告スポンサー側における広告効果の把握が容易となる。

また、例えば、広告スポンサーと本実施形態の車両用広告装置１を搭載した車両１０の保有者との間で、予め所定期間におけるトータルの広告時間に関する取り決めを行うこともできるが、その場合には、表示時間記憶部６に記憶されている情報から、契約通りの広告がなされているかどうかを確認することが容易となる。あるいは、このような取り決めを行っていないとしても、表示時間カウント手段５及び表示時間記憶部６を設けておくことにより、所定期間における広告表示時間に対応した広告料を事後的に算出することも可能となる。この場合、広告料の算出は、表示時間記憶部６の情報を読み出して別途算出することもできるが、表示時間記憶部６の情報を各広告毎に読み出して、広告料を算出するプログラムとしての広告料算出手段を設けておき、通信回線を介して広告スポンサー側のコンピュータに定期的に送信するシステムとすることも可能である。

上記した各実施形態によれば、積載荷物が１種類ずつ変更される場合には問題ないが、複数種類の荷物が同時に混載される場合には、荷物認識処理手段３によって積載される荷物の種類を認識しても、そのうちいずれの広告を表示すべきが判断できない。従って、かかる場合にも対応し得るように、広告表示制御手段４には、荷物認識処理手段３から送信される複数の積載荷物の情報から表示すべき広告の優先順位を決定する表示時間決定手段を設けると共に、広告表示手段２に対する広告を変更させるための制御情報が、この表示時間決定手段からの情報に基づいて出力されるように構成された広告変更制御手段を設けておくことが好ましい。

表示時間決定手段としては、もっとも単純な構成としては、予め各広告の表示時間（連続表示時間）を設定しておく構成とすることができる。これによれば、広告変更制御手段が、各広告の表示時間の情報を読み込み、各広告の表示時間が経過する毎に、広告表示手段に表示させる広告の種類を変更するように、該広告変更制御手段から広告表示手段２に対して制御情報が出力され、所定時間で広告が変更されることになる。

また、連続表示時間を直接入力するのではなく、所定期間において表示すべき全表示時間のみを入力しておき、既に表示した時間と残りの広告表示期間とを勘案して、混載された荷物毎に、そのときの運搬中に表示する時間を算出し、その情報を広告変更制御手段に受け渡す構成とすることもできる。例えば、契約された全表示時間が１０時間であるにも拘わらず、残存する広告表示期間が１日しかなく、既に表示したトータルの時間が８時間となっている荷物Ａと、全表示時間が５時間であって、残存する広告表示期間が５日で、既に４時間表示している荷物Ｂとが混載された場合には、表示時間決定手段は、例えば、荷物Ａの連続表示時間を１時間として、これをその運搬中、３０分の間隔をおいて２回表示と決定し、荷物Ｂの連続表示時間を１５分で１回表示などと決定する構成とすることができる。

また、広告スポンサーとの間で定めた広告料に関する情報を、マイクロコンピュータのデータ記憶部に予め記憶させておき、表示時間決定手段がこの広告料に関する情報を読み込み、広告料に比例した各広告の連続表示時間、トータルの表示時間、あるいは表示期間などを算出し、この情報を広告変更制御手段に受け渡して、表示する広告を変更する構成とすることもできる。さらに、荷物認識処理手段３によって、混載される荷物の種類のほか、それぞれの積載量も認識する構成とし、表示時間決定手段においては、各荷物の積載量に比例して、各広告の表示時間を決定する構成とすることもできる。例えば、積載量が多い荷物ほど、それに対応する広告の連続表示時間を長く設定したり、所定期間における積載量を計測して、当該期間におけるトータルの表示時間を長く設定したり、あるいは、当該広告を表示する期間を長く設定することで結果として当該期間におけるトータルの表示時間を長くしたりする構成とすることができる。

なお、上記した説明では、表示面に表れる広告を１種類に限定しているが、複数種類の広告が表示面に同時に表れる広告表示手段を用いることもできる。また、車両１台に対し、本発明の車両用広告装置を複数台搭載することももちろん可能である。

【発明の効果】
本発明の車両用広告装置は、積載される荷物の種類を認識する荷物認識処理手段を有し、その情報に基づいて広告表示制御手段によって表示すべき広告の種類を制御し、所定の広告を表示する構成である。従って、運送業者等が所有、管理するトラックなど、車両の保有者の業務に拘わらず、積載荷物に対応した広告表示が可能となり、各業者の保有するトラックなどの車両の稼働効率を低下させることなく、積載荷物に関する広告、宣伝効率を向上させることができる。

また、本発明の車両用広告装置は、荷物認識処理手段、広告表示制御手段によって、広告表示手段に表示される広告を自動的に制御する構成であるため、積載される荷物の種類が変更された場合に、何らの熟練も要することなく、短時間できわめて容易に広告の種類を変更することができる。

さらに、所定の基準に基づいて広告を表示する時間を決定する広告表示時間決定手段を有する構成とすれば、荷物が混載されている場合でも、複数種類の広告を適宜に変更して表示することが可能となる。
