Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a sliding surface structure made of an acid and wear resistant Ni-based alloy.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, this type of Ni-based alloy has been known to be composed of a Ni matrix and SiC particles dispersed in the Ni matrix. This Ni-based alloy is, for example, a cylinder bore in an engine Al alloy cylinder block. Is formed by electroplating on the inner peripheral surface.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, depending on the gasoline composition and engine operating conditions, the generation of sulfuric acid in the cylinder bore, the dissolution of the Ni matrix by the sulfuric acid, and the dropping of the SiC particles due to the dissolution may occur. As a result, the inner surface of the cylinder bore is abrasive. There was a problem of wear.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An object of the present invention is to provide a sliding surface structure made of the Ni-based alloy that exhibits excellent acid resistance against sulfuric acid and has good wear resistance.
[0005]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the invention of
[0006]
Both the alloy matrix and the Si 3 N 4 particles exhibit excellent acid resistance against sulfuric acid, and since the Si 3 N 4 particles are non-magnetic, generation of local batteries between them and the alloy matrix Is greatly suppressed. Thereby, the acid resistance of the Ni-based alloy can be ensured. However, when the P content is P <8 wt%, corrosion of the alloy matrix due to sulfuric acid proceeds. In particular, in the range of 0 wt% <P ≦ about 7 wt%, the acid resistance is inferior to that of P = 0 wt%. .
[0007]
Si 3 N 4 particles contribute to the suppression of wear of the alloy matrix and have the effect of improving the wear resistance of the Ni-based alloy. Further, since the Si 3 N 4 particles are substantially spherical, they are less aggressive against the sliding counterpart member, thereby ensuring the wear resistance of the member. However, when the volume fraction Vf is Vf <6%, the above effect cannot be obtained. On the other hand, when Vf> 16%, the Si 3 N 4 particles easily fall off and the seizure resistance also decreases.
[0008]
The claimed metal structure of the alloy matrix of the first aspect of the invention is only an amorphous single structure consisting amorphous phase, thus metal structure of the alloy matrix is an amorphous single organization, This is extremely effective in improving the acid resistance of the alloy matrix, and hence the sliding surface structure. When, for example, the periphery of an engine cylinder bore is covered with such a sliding surface structure, the temperature around the cylinder bore during engine operation is approximately 200 ° C. or lower, so that the crystallization of the sliding surface structure proceeds. It is difficult to maintain the good acid resistance.

Both the alloy matrix and the Si 3 N 4 particles exhibit excellent acid resistance against sulfuric acid, and since the Si 3 N 4 particles are non-magnetic, generation of local batteries between them and the alloy matrix Is greatly suppressed. From this figure, it was found that the metal structure of the alloy matrix made of the Ni-10 wt% P alloy was an amorphous single structure consisting only of an amorphous phase at room temperature.
