本発明は、ボルトによる締結の際にボルトの先端部に螺合される連結用クリップに関し、特にトイレの便座、洗浄用水タンク等を便器に取り付ける場合等に使用される連結用クリップに関する。

【従来の技術】
一般に狭い空間内に設置されることの多い、トイレの便座、洗浄用水タンク、便器等から構成されるトイレ用衛生器具の組み付け、分解を容易にするため、これらの構成品を連結するボルトの先端に螺合されるナットを有した連結用クリップには特有の作動が要求される。トイレ用衛生器具をボルト及び連結用クリップにより連結する場合、トイレ用衛生器具の複数の構成品を挿通したボルトに対して、その先端から頭部方向に順にナットを回し入れる通常の締め付けは行わない。まず、連結用クリップ内のナットの内径を広げて、ナットがボルトの外側で遊嵌した状態でナットをボルト頭部へ移動させる。連結される構成品を貫通するボルトにおいて、構成品になるべく近い位置までナットを移動し、ナットの内径を縮めてナットとボルトが螺合する状態にした後、連結用クリップを回転させて締め付けを行う。これにより、ボルトに対して少ない回転量で連結用クリップを締め付けることができ、トイレ用衛生器具の構成品の組み付け性は向上している。また、メンテナンス或いは清掃等でボルト及び連結用クリップによる締結を解除する場合は、連結用クリップが締め付け固定されている位置でナット内径を広げる。この作動により、ナットとボルトは螺合しない状態になり、ナットはボルトの外側で遊嵌した状態になるため、ナットはボルトの先端部へ容易に抜き取ることができ、トイレ用衛生器具のメンテナンス性は向上している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この部品においては、操作部を移動させてナットの内径を大きくした、即ちナットを広げた時、対向する半円筒状のナットは一端側に支点を置いて互いに反対方向に回動するように広がる。このため、他端においてはナットの内径を充分に大きく確保することができる。しかし、一端の内径は変化が小さいため、広げたナット内周にボルトを挿通する際にボルトのネジ山とナットの一端側内周面の間の隙間を充分に取ることができない。このため、ナットの一端側付近の内周面には雌ネジを形成することを避ける必要があった。

近年、トイレ用衛生器具には、製造コストを抑える等の理由から樹脂製のボルトが多用されている。これに伴いナットも樹脂製となっている。小さなネジ部でも大きな締結力を有する金属製のナットと金属製ボルトの組み合わせとは異なり、樹脂製のナットを樹脂製ボルトに締め付ける場合、ナットの雌ネジ部を減少させるには締結力への影響を考慮する必要があった。このため、ネジ部を減少させる必要のないナットを有した連結用クリップが求められていた。

上記した技術的課題を解決するために講じた第1の技術的手段は請求項1に示すように、内周面にボルトが螺合可能な雌ネジ部が形成された円筒体を分割した複数の分割円筒体形状部材からなるナットと、該ナットの外周に嵌合されて前記分割円筒体形状部材を互いに接近及び離間させる略円筒状操作部材とを備え、前記略円筒状操作部を前記ナットに対して移動させることで前記分割円筒体形状部材が接近して前記ナットの内径が第1の内径になる時前記ボルトと螺合し、前記分割円筒体形状部材が離間して前記ナットの内径が第2の内径になる時前記ボルトと螺合しない状態となる連結用クリップにおいて、前記複数の分割円筒体形状部材はそれぞれ一体的に案内部を備え、前記略円筒状操作部材は、その内周側に、前記案内部の間に押し入れられて前記案内部の間で挟まれる挟入部と、該挟入部により移動させられる前記分割円筒体形状部材に当接して前記分割円筒体形状部材の内周面が前記ボルトの中心軸と平行に移動するよう規制する規制部とを備え、前記案内部の間に前記挟入部が無い時は前記ナットの内径は前記第1の内径となり、前記案内部の間に前記挟入部が挟まれた時は前記ナットの内径は前記第2の内径となることを特徴とする連結用クリップを構成したことである。
