近年、有用廃プラスチック類、空き缶および空き瓶等の再利用化が進められており、そのためこれらの有用廃棄物を袋に入れた状態で分別収集し、廃棄物収容袋を有用廃棄物処理施設に搬入し、ここで有用廃棄物を袋から取り出して有用廃プラスチック類、アルミニウム缶、スチール缶、空き瓶に選別し、それぞれを回収するようになっている。そして、効率良く有用廃棄物を袋から取り出すために、自動的に袋を破る破袋装置が用いられている。

従来、破袋装置としては、廃棄物収容袋を搬送する搬送手段の上方に種々の破袋機が配されたものが知られている。この破袋装置に用いられる破袋機としては、たとえば厚生省水道環境部監修の「ごみ処理施設構造指針解説」に記載されたキャタピラ式破袋機、フック式破袋機および剪断式破袋機や、特許第2842395号公報に記載されたロータリ破袋機等がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来の破袋機では、いずれの場合にも構造が複雑になってその重量が比較的大きくなり、搬送手段の搬送経路に対する初期の高さ調整作業が困難になるとともに、既設の搬送装置への追設が困難であるという問題がある。また、破袋力を発生するための駆動装置を必要とするので、コストが高くなるという問題がある。しかも、従来の破袋機では、いずれの場合も破袋率(搬送される全資源ごみ収容袋の中の破られる袋の割合)は60〜70%程度であることから、この破袋率をアップさせる目的で、搬送手段の搬送経路に沿って2つ以上の破袋機を並べて配置することが考えられるが、この場合には上述した問題点がさらに顕著になる。

この発明の目的は、上記問題を解決し、構造が簡単でかつ軽量化を図ることができるとともに、コストが安い破袋機を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段と発明の効果】
この発明による破袋機は、廃棄物収容袋を搬送する搬送手段の搬送経路の上方に配されかつ廃棄物収容袋を破る破袋機であって、刃先を下方に向けた複数のカッタが、搬送手段の搬送方向に並んで配されかつ隣接するものどうしが搬送手段の搬送経路と直角をなす水平軸線の周りに揺動しうるように連結されることによりカッタ列が構成され、カッタ列の一端が、搬送手段の搬送経路の上方に設けられたフレームに、搬送手段の搬送経路と直角をなす水平軸線の周りに揺動しうるように取り付けられ、カッタ列の他端に線状支持部材が取り付けられ、線状支持部材が、緊張弛緩手段を介してフレームに取り付けられているものである。
