Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a rotation restricting device for a swivel chair, and more particularly to a rotation restricting device that disables rotation of a seat portion of the swivel chair when necessary.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a rotation restricting device for a swivel chair, those described in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 48-75907 and Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 53-7307 exist.
[0003]
In the above-mentioned Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 48-75907, a pipe provided under a seat is rotatably fitted on an upper end of a shaft provided upright on a leg, and the pipe is laterally fitted to the pipe. Then, a fastening tool with a lever is screwed together, and the side of the shaft portion is pressed with the fastening tool to restrict rotation. In this case, the lever of the fastening tool protrudes greatly to the side, not only deteriorating the appearance but also getting in the way. Further, the shaft portion of the leg portion is adjusted in height in multiple stages by screwing from the side, and is not provided with a gas cylinder.
[0004]
Further, in the above-mentioned Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 53-7307, a pipe provided below a seat is rotatably fitted on an upper end of a shaft provided upright on a leg, and A part of the lower end is notched to expose the side surface of the leg, and a U-shaped bending arm is attached to the lower end of the pipe, and a cam is attached to the end of the bending arm. By depressing the fixed lever, the cam is pressed against the side surface of the leg portion within the cutout portion to restrict rotation. Also in this case, the lever deteriorates the appearance and gets in the way. Further, the shaft portion is not provided with a gas cylinder and is not a chair that can easily adjust the height of the seat portion.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, in view of the above-mentioned situation, the present invention intends to solve the problem by providing a gas cylinder that is extendable and non-rotatable on the shaft part of the leg part, and a seat part is rotatably attached to the upper end part of the gas cylinder. In the swivel chair, it is possible to make the seat portion non-rotatable when necessary, and to provide a rotation restricting device for the swivel chair that does not impair the appearance and get in the way.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is provided with a gas cylinder that is extendable and non-rotatable on the shaft portion of the leg portion, and a support body provided on the lower surface of the seat portion is rotatably attached to the upper end portion of the gas cylinder. And a rotation restricting device for a swivel chair in which the seat portion cannot be rotated by the rotation restricting means, wherein the shaft cylinder attached to the upper end portion of the gas cylinder is rotated by a bearing member fixed to the support. The rotation restricting means is capable of receiving a restriction plate fixed to an upper end portion of the shaft cylinder protruding upward from the bearing member, and a seat provided in contact with the restriction plate so as to be detachable from the support plate. The restricting plate is a hexagonal plate in plan view having three pairs of restricting edges parallel to each other perpendicular to the rotation axis of the shaft cylinder. The stop member simultaneously contacts the pair of restriction edges. A pair of abutting edges are provided on the inner periphery of the opening, and one end is attached to the support body so as to be vertically rotatable with a horizontal support shaft, and the operating means is provided with the locking member on the support body The rotation restricting device of the swivel chair is realized by rotating up and down to realize a rotation restricting state in which the abutting edge contacts the restricting edge and a rotatable state in which the abutting edge is separated from the restricting edge. Configured.
[0007]
Here, the locking member is formed by forming a square opening at the center of the substrate.
[0008]
Further, the operating means rotates a lever provided outside the support, thereby rotating a cam disposed in contact with the bottom surface of the locking member inside the support to engage the engagement. The stop member is operated to move up and down.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. 1 to 5 show a first embodiment of a rotation restricting device for a swivel chair according to the present invention, in which 1 is a leg, 2 is a seat, 3 is a shaft, 4 is a gas cylinder, and 5 is a support. The bodies 6 indicate rotation restricting means.
[0010]
The swivel chair in the present embodiment includes a gas cylinder 4 that is extendable and non-rotatable on the shaft 3 of the leg 1, and a support 5 provided on the lower surface of the seat 2 can be rotated at the upper end of the gas cylinder 4. And the rotation restricting means 6 makes the seat 2 non-rotatable.
