【0001】

【0045】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention is used for applications such as exterior materials that are left exposed to the outside for a long period of time, uses an elastomer sheet laminate that is excellent in weather resistance and that is not easily discolored, and uses such a sheet, particularly for construction. The present invention relates to a waterproof and water-proof sheet that is laid on a roof, floor, wall, reservoir, industrial waste disposal site, etc., and has excellent aesthetics and weather resistance, and has no problem of discoloration.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally used for exterior materials that are left exposed to the outside for a long period of time, such as waterproofing and waterproofing sheets that are laid on building roofs, floors, walls or reservoirs, industrial waste treatment plants, etc. The sheet is primarily used to prevent rainwater from entering the interior of the building or to prevent the water in the reservoir from getting into the ground. As a waterproofing method for roofing of buildings and waterproofing ponds, etc., a method of laying elastomer sheets made of rubber, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, ethylene vinyl acetate, chlorinated polyethylene, modified asphalt, etc. is usually adopted. ing.
However, among these sheets, the rubber sheet is relatively excellent in weather resistance of the material itself and can withstand long-term use. However, other sheets such as polyvinyl chloride and polyethylene have initial physical properties and resistance. Although it is excellent in functions such as impact resistance, the weather resistance is insufficient and improvement has been demanded.
Therefore, as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 3-92228, it has been proposed to improve the weather resistance of the sheet by laminating a fluororesin layer having excellent weather resistance on the sheet.
[0003]
In recent years, a waterproof elastomer sheet to be laid on the roof, floor, wall, or reservoir of a building has been required to be a colored elastomer sheet from the viewpoint of appearance and aesthetics as well as waterproofness and weather resistance. Has reached the point.
[0004]
By the way, recently from the appearance and aesthetic requirements, a colorant is blended with the elastomer material itself to make a colored elastomer sheet, or a colored rubber sheet is laminated on a conventional black rubber sheet and vulcanized and integrated. Is used as the waterproof and water-proof sheet.
In addition, a colored tedlar (DuPont, polyvinyl fluoride) film is laminated and integrated with a rubber sheet.
[0005]
However, in the sheet laminated with the fluororesin as described above, there is a difference in expansion / contraction property between the fluororesin and the sheet made of rubber, polyvinyl chloride, porin ethylene, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, and the like. In some cases, there is a problem that warping occurs due to the difference.
Further, regarding the colored elastomer sheet, there are the following problems in addition to the problem of warping due to the difference in properties.
For example, a color rubber sheet in which a colorant is mixed with rubber is certainly superior in appearance as compared with a conventional black rubber sheet, but is inferior in weather resistance to a black sheet. Further, only a color tone having a low brightness and far from being a delicate color tone was obtained. Furthermore, in addition to problems such as severe color variation between lots, there was a problem of poor weather resistance and discoloration over time, which did not satisfy the requirements.
[0006]
Furthermore, a colored sheet made of polyvinyl chloride and a colored sheet made of chlorosulfonated polyethylene or a colored sheet made of polyethylene are themselves poor in weather resistance and unsuitable for outdoor use over a long period of time. And the sheet | seat which laminated | stacked the film of the polyvinyl chloride with the vulcanized rubber sheet had the problem that a warp generate | occur | produces from the difference in both properties.
[0007]
In addition, since polyvinyl fluoride (Tedlar) is excellent in weather resistance, it can be said that the waterproof and water-proof sheet obtained by integrally laminating the film and the rubber sheet has been improved to prevent natural deterioration and discoloration. Also, the problem of warping due to the difference in expansion and contraction properties has not been solved.
[0008]
Therefore, by addressing the actual situation as described above, the present applicants can use ePTFE film earlier, so that there is little variation in color, a delicate color tone can be produced, no warpage occurs, and weather resistance is improved. An elastomer sheet including a rubber sheet which is excellent and has no problem of discoloration even when colored is proposed. (1996 Patent Application No. 265265)
[0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the above proposals are basically those obtained by laminating and integrating an ePTFE film on an elastomer sheet, and by laminating a thermoplastic resin film between the elastomer sheet and the ePTFE film. Although the effect was recognized sufficiently compared with the conventional one, when the laminate surface (ePTFE film surface) is twisted, a mark (a dark colored portion) is generated and the appearance is deteriorated. I encountered a problem.
[0010]
The present invention pays attention to such a problem and further develops the above proposal to further solve the problem, has less color variation, can produce a delicate color tone, does not generate warpage, and has excellent weather resistance, In addition, in addition to various purposes that do not cause a problem of discoloration even when colored, it is an object to provide an elastomer sheet using an ePTFE film that does not deteriorate the appearance even when rubbed on the surface of the laminate.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
That is, in order to achieve the above object, the present invention calenders the laminated body of the elastomer sheet and ePTFE film previously proposed, and crushes the porous structure of the ePTFE film over the entire surface of the film, or the ePTFE film and the thermoplastic heavy film. The laminate product is calendered, and the porous structure of the ePTFE film is crushed on the entire surface of the film, and the structure of the elastomer sheet laminate in which the thermoplastic resin film side of the laminate sheet and the elastomer sheet are laminated and integrated is characterized.
[0012]
Further, it is also advantageous to use a colored ePTFE film and a colored thermoplastic resin film as the ePTFE film and the thermoplastic resin film used in each of the elastomer sheet laminates, and further to use a rubber sheet as the elastomer sheet. And is a feature of the present invention.
[0013]
In addition, the present invention adopts the above-described configuration particularly in a waterproof and water-proof sheet that is laid on a roof, floor, wall, reservoir, industrial waste disposal site, etc. of a building, and laminates the ePTFE film on an elastomer sheet, and ePTFE. The film was obtained by laminating the porous structure of the film and crushing the porous structure of the ePTFE film over the entire surface of the film, or laminating the ePTFE film and the thermoplastic resin film, and crushing the porous structure of the ePTFE film over the entire surface of the film. It is also characterized in that the thermoplastic resin film side of the sheet is laminated on the elastomer sheet.
[0014]
Further, the ePTFE film used in the waterproof and water-proof sheet, the colored ePTFE film as the thermoplastic resin film, and the colored thermoplastic resin It is also a feature that a film is used, and a rubber sheet is used as an elastomer sheet, and is combined with the above structure, and is included in the present invention.
[0015]
[Action]
Since the elastomer sheet laminate and waterproof waterproof sheet according to the present invention are not deteriorated by ultraviolet rays and the ePTFE film having extremely excellent weather resistance is laminated on the surface of the elastomer sheet, the weather resistance can be greatly increased. Conventionally, it is possible to use an elastomer material that is excellent in initial physical properties but could not be used for long-term exposure due to a problem of weather resistance. Further, the ePTFE film is flexible and plastic, and has a unique property along an arbitrary shape. The ePTFE film can freely follow the change in the shape of the elastomer even when laminated with a flexible elastomer material such as rubber. Therefore, when the ePTFE film is laminated with the elastomer sheet, the ePTFE film is not peeled off due to the inability to follow the deformation of the elastomer sheet, and the elastomer sheet is not warped.
In addition, since the porous structure of the surface of the ePTFE film is crushed over the entire surface, the generation of imprints is prevented and a good appearance is maintained.
[0016]
On the other hand, when an ePTFE film is laminated with a thermoplastic resin film interposed on the surface of the elastomer sheet, the porous structure of the ePTFE film is crushed after the lamination of the ePTFE film and the thermoplastic resin film and before the lamination with the elastomer sheet. When the thermoplastic resin film is melted by applying heat, the melted thermoplastic resin can enter the holes of the ePTFE film, so that it is a fluorine-based resin film that cannot normally be firmly bonded by thermal fusion. Even if it is a film of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTEF), it can be fused with sufficient strength, and it is possible to obtain a waterproof and water-proof sheet that is excellent in color tone and weather resistance and has no problems such as discoloration, peeling of laminated sheets, warping be able to.
[0017]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the elastomer sheet laminate according to the present invention and the waterproof and water-proof sheet by the laminate will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The elastomer sheet used in the present invention has the same functions as those of a waterproof water-proof sheet made of an elastomer such as a conventional vulcanized rubber or polyvinyl chloride (water-proof and water-proof, mechanical strength, etc. And chemical properties) are used. Therefore, the

[0029]
The ePTFE film thus produced is a flexible film that is pure white and has a marshmallow feel. Moreover, this film has air permeability, and it can be seen that pores called “holes” are continuous from the front surface to the back surface of the film. When observed with an electron microscope, the microstructure of the film has a unique fibrous porous structure composed of fibrils (small fibers) and nodes (nodules) connecting them both on the surface and inside. The appearance of this fibril / node structure changes depending on the stretching direction and the stretching ratio. For example, when uniaxially stretched, fibrils are oriented in one direction of the stretching direction and become interdigital, and nodes connecting the fibrils are observed as elongated islands perpendicular to the stretching direction. On the other hand, when biaxially stretched, fibrils spread radially in the stretching direction, and the nodes connecting them are observed as fine particles rather than islands. Further, as the draw ratio is increased, the fibril generally becomes longer regardless of the drawing direction, the node shape becomes relatively smaller, and finally the so-called nodeless structure consisting only of fibrils is obtained. The specific gravity of the ePTFE film is smaller than the specific gravity of pure PTFE solid, and depending on the porosity, many are smaller than the specific gravity of water.
[0030]
ePTFE consists of pure PTFE, and the fibrils and nodes that characterize its structure are both PTFE. By the way, PTFE is a chemically very stable material, and is not easily deteriorated or corroded even when used for roof water discharge or storage ponding for a pond that is exposed to sunlight or outside air for a long period of time. Thus, ePTFE inherently has the excellent chemical stability of PTFE, is durable to ultraviolet light, and is not oxidized by air. In addition, PTFE has excellent weather resistance such that it is not synthesized in nature and therefore is not eroded by bacteria.
[0031]
However, ePTFE has different mechanical and physical properties than the PTFE solid. A film made of a solid PTFE has a milky white color like transparent ground glass, whereas an ePTFE film has an outstanding pure white color. This is considered to be due to the total reflection phenomenon derived from the fine porous structure of ePTFE. In addition, PTFE solids are generally considered to be rigid materials, but ePTFE film has a marshmallow-like feel as described above, and can conform to the shape of other objects. It is a highly plastic material. This is also thought to be due to its unique fibrous structure. Moreover, due to its network structure, it has a gentle elastic recovery force. Therefore, even if laminated as an elastomer sheet laminate of the present invention, it can easily follow the expansion and contraction of the elastomer. In addition, PTFE is considered to be a material that has no affinity with other substances and is particularly difficult to adhere to. However, ePTFE has a porous structure, and hence is easily bonded by a so-called anchor effect. For this purpose, when the thermoplastic resin film 3 is used, it is important to previously laminate the
[0032]
If a material such as a PTFE solid film, a fluororesin film other than PTFE, a polyester film, or a polyvinyl chloride film has a large rigidity and lacks flexibility, it is laminated due to the difference in expansion and contraction of the constituent materials. The warp is generated in the body, and peeling occurs due to repeated bending. For example, when a fluororesin film or polyester is laminated on an elastomer sheet, the rigidity of the fluororesin film or polyester film is too high to follow the deformation of the elastomer sheet, so that the sheet is warped or peeled off. However, in the case of the

Table 1 shows the tensile modulus of elasticity of typical fluororesin film, monofluoropolyethylene film and ePTFE film. Table 1 shows that the tensile modulus of elasticity of ePTFE film is extremely low compared to general fluororesin film (polyvinyl difluoride) (PVDF) and polyvinyl fluoride film (PVF), and excellent flexibility. I understand.

[0037]
As a method of coloring ePTFE film, a pigment is mixed in the production of the film, and the pigment is embedded in the film pores. After the film is formed, a solvent-based paint is applied to the film pores. Examples thereof include a method of embedding a pigment and a method of forming a film and then dipping the film in a paint bath to embed the pigment in the pores of the film.
Hereinafter, a method for coloring the ePTFE film by mixing a pigment will be described.
[0038]
An inorganic pigment corresponding to the color tone, for example, carbon black, is mixed with PTFE resin in an amount of 0.5 to 50 wt%. The blending amount is adjusted depending on the color and the type of pigment, but if it is 50 wt% or more, pinholes are generated in the film stretching or the strength is reduced. The mixing method is 1) Add a sufficiently dried pigment to the granulated PTFE resin and mix it with a mixer. 2) Add the pigment to a solution in which PTFE primary particles called dispersion are dispersed in water and mix. There is a method of granulating, and any method is possible, but the latter method 2) is more uniform in pigment dispersion, and the colored e-PTFE film finally obtained is less likely to have uneven color. Is preferred. After adding 17 to 22 wt% of a hydrocarbon solvent as a lubricant for extrusion to the granulated PTFE, mixing, preforming is performed and paste extrusion is performed. After the lubricant is dried and removed from the film obtained by rolling the extrudate to a predetermined thickness, it is stretched by 50 to 1,500%, preferably 500 to 1000% in the width direction at a high temperature below the melting point (327 ° C.) of PTFE. When necessary, heat and heat treatment is performed at a temperature higher than the melting point of PTFE. The film width at this time is preferably 500 mm or more, more preferably 1,200 mm or more. When the film width is less than 500 mm, the width of the waterproof water-proof sheet finally obtained is limited to 500 mm or less.
[0039]
Usually, the ePTFE film has a white color and can be used as a white waterproof and water-proof sheet when laminated on an elastomer sheet as it is. Such a case is also included in the present application. Further, if a colored one is used, an elastomer sheet colored in an arbitrary color can be obtained as a result, and an excellent color tone can be imparted to the appearance of the waterproof water-proof sheet.
Moreover, when a pigment is embedded in the pores of the ePTFE film, a film colored in an arbitrary color can be obtained. Moreover, if an ePTFE film to which no pigment is added is used, a pure white film can be obtained as it is.
[0040]
Next, the manufacturing method of this invention elastomer sheet laminated body and a coloring waterproofing water shielding sheet is demonstrated.

Of course, the same three-layer structure sheet as in the above-described embodiment with the thermoplastic resin film 3 interposed may be laminated by the same method using an unvulcanized rubber sheet. Further, even when the elastomer is a polymer other than rubber, it can be bonded and integrated using a chloroprene rubber-based, butyl rubber-based, epoxy resin-based, urethane-based, or cyanoacrylate-based adhesive.
In this case as well, after the lamination, the porous structure of the ePTFE film is crushed on the entire film surface by calendering.

Next, in order to obtain a waterproof water-proof sheet, each of the above was laminated as follows.
First, the ePTFE film colored with the light gray and the polyethylene film were fused by being nipped with a heat roll. At this time, in order to prevent the polyethylene film from melting and adhering to the heat roll, the ePTFE film was set to the heat roll side, and the polyethylene film side was set to the nip roll side. Heat roll temperature is 170 ° C, nip pressure is 7kg / cm 2 And processed at a processing speed of 5 m / min.
[0048]
Next, the two-layer laminate of the ePTFE film and the polyethylene film obtained as described above was subjected to calendering to crush the porous structure of the ePTFE film. The pressure of the calendar roll was 50 t / m and the processing speed was 25 m / min.
Next, the two-layer laminate and the vulcanized rubber sheet subjected to the calendering process were fused using a pressure contact roll at the same time as the rubber sheet was sent out from the vulcanization can with an apparatus as shown in FIG. . Processing conditions are: vulcanized rubber sheet surface temperature 153 ° C., nip pressure 5 kg / cm 2 The processing speed was 5 m / min. And the three-layer laminated product of the

Comparative Example 1
On the other hand, for comparison, a three-layer laminate of ePTFE film, polyethylene film, and vulcanized rubber sheet, which is a sheet having the same configuration as in Example 1 and is not calendered on a two-layer laminate of ePTFE film and polyethylene film. Obtained as Comparative Example 1.
And as a result of rubbing the surface (ePTFE film surface) of each of the three-layer laminates of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 with an index fingernail, Comparative Example 1 showed streaks. It was observed that the imprinted portion looks darker (darker) than the portion other than the imprinted portion.
On the other hand, according to the embodiment of the present invention, there was no imprint, and the appearance was very good as compared with Comparative Example 1.
[0050]
Next, as a result of measuring the color difference of the surface (ePTFE film surface) of the three-layer laminate of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 with a color difference meter CR-210 of Minolta Co., ΔE = 13.
The color difference of the imprinted portion generated in Comparative Example 1 was the same as that of Example 1. From this result, the imprint of the ePTFE film is caused by the fact that the porous structure of the ePTFE film is partially crushed, resulting in a decrease in light reflectivity and a dark (dark) color tone. According to the above, it was confirmed that the generation of the press marks could be prevented by crushing the entire surface of the ePTFE film in advance.
[0051]
Further, 1 cc of machine oil was dropped on the surface of the three-layer laminate of Example 1 and Comparative Example 1 (the surface of the ePTFE film), and after 1 minute, the machine oil was wiped off with a waste cloth. In Comparative Example 1, the oil was on the surface of the ePTFE film. The oil penetrated and stained with oil.
On the other hand, the oil according to the embodiment of the present invention was not stained with oil at all, and an extremely good result was obtained as compared with Comparative Example 1. This is because the oil penetrated into the porous structure of the ePTFE film in Comparative Example 1 and the stain was attached, whereas in the example of the present invention, the porous structure of the ePTFE film was almost crushed. Therefore, the oil penetration did not occur and the oil did not stain, and it can be seen that the laminate according to the embodiment of the present invention is excellent in stain resistance.
[0052]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention uses an ePTFE film as described above, an elastomer sheet, and further laminated with a thermoplastic resin film interposed between the two cans. There are advantages and disadvantages in the sheet, and it has improved the point that was not necessarily sufficient, and as suggested earlier, it can exhibit a delicate color tone with little color variation, and no warpage occurs, In addition, it is possible to provide a waterproof and water-proof sheet without problems of discoloration and peeling, and particularly to the present invention, which can impart sufficient weather resistance to an elastomer material that has not been used because of its poor weather resistance. Crushes the porous structure of the surface of the laminate (the surface of the ePTFE film) over the entire surface of the film, so that a laminate using an ePTFE film having a porous structure is used. It is without any of the dark part of the stripe-like thread trace press occurs, has a remarkable effect capable of holding a very good appearance.
Moreover, the present invention does not cause oil permeation by crushing the porous structure on the surface of the ePTFE film as described above. Therefore, the oil does not stain and has an excellent effect on stain resistance. There is expected.
