【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、走行機体に、植立穀稈を刈り取って搬送する刈取搬送装置を昇降揺動可能に、かつ、左右方向に摺動変位可能に連結装備するとともに、前記刈取搬送装置によって搬送された刈取穀稈を受け取って搬送するフィードチェーンを左右一側部に備えた脱穀装置を搭載してあるコンバインに関する。

【従来の技術】
上記のようなコンバインにおいては、圃場の左右中間箇所を縦断する状態に機体を刈り取り走行させて圃場の穀稈植立領域を左右に分断する中割り作業を行う場合には、刈取搬送装置が走行機体に装備した左右の各クローラ式走行装置の前方に位置する状態となるように、走行機体に対して刈取搬送装置を左右方向に摺動変位させることによって、又、機体の左右一側方を未刈り側にした状態で機体を周回走行させながら圃場の穀稈植立領域の外側から順に回り刈りする回り刈り作業を行う場合には、刈取搬送装置が走行機体に対する最左右一側端位置に位置する状態となるように、走行機体に対して刈取搬送装置を左右方向に摺動変位させることによって、中割り作業や回り刈り作業などの刈取収穫作業時において左右のクローラ式走行装置による植立穀稈の踏み付けなどが発生する不具合を未然に回避できるようになる。

従来、上記のようなコンバインとしては、刈取搬送装置からフィードチェーンに向けてフィードチェーンの搬送始端側上部に接当する状態に延出して刈取搬送装置からの刈取穀稈をフィードチェーンに案内するガイド杆を、その刈取搬送装置側を支点にした刈取搬送装置に対する縦軸心周りでの相対揺動が可能となるように刈取搬送装置に設けたものがある(例えば特許文献1参照。)。

又、脱穀装置に、フィードチェーンの搬送始端側上部に接当する下降作用位置と、その搬送始端側上部から離間してフィードチェーンの搬送始端側上方を開放する上昇解除位置とに、横軸心周りに揺動切り換え可能な供給ガイドを設け、かつ、刈取搬送装置に、この刈取搬送装置を走行機体に対する左右方向での特定の取り付け位置に位置させた場合に、フィードチェーンの搬送始端側上方を開放する作用解除状態から、フィードチェーンの搬送始端側を上方から覆う作用状態への、横軸心周りでの揺動切り換えが可能となる枕扱きカバーを設けたものがある(例えば特許文献2参照。)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記特許文献1に記載の従来技術では、ガイド杆が刈取搬送装置からフィードチェーンの搬送始端側上部に向けて延出するだけであることから、ガイド杆をフィードチェーンの搬送始端側上部に接当させた状態のままで、脱穀装置に向けて刈取穀稈を搬送案内するフィードチェーンに対して刈取穀稈を人為供給する枕扱き作業を行える。又、走行機体に対する刈取搬送装置の左右方向での摺動変位に伴って、ガイド杆が縦軸心周りに揺動して、その案内終端側がフィードチェーンの搬送始端側上部に接当する状態を維持することから、刈取搬送装置にガイド杆を装備するものでありながら、刈取搬送装置の走行機体に対する左右方向での摺動変位にかかわらず、ガイド杆による刈取搬送装置からフィードチェーンへの刈取穀稈の搬送案内を良好に行える。

しかしながら、上記特許文献1に記載のガイド杆は、フィードチェーンの搬送始端側を上方から覆うものではないことから、枕扱き作業の際に刈取穀稈を仮置きする載置台として利用することができず、そのため、フィードチェーンに対する刈取穀稈の人為供給が行い難く、穂先側をフィードチェーンに接触させるなどの不都合が生じ易くなっていた。又、ガイド杆は、その案内終端側をフィードチェーンの搬送始端側上部に接当させた状態のまま、刈取搬送装置の走行機体に対する左右方向での摺動変位に伴って縦軸心周りに揺動することから、ガイド杆とフィードチェーンとの間において無理な擦れが生じる虞があり、結果、ガイド杆とフィードチェーンとの接当箇所が早期に損耗する不都合を招き易くなる。

一方、上記特許文献2に記載の従来技術では、脱穀装置に供給ガイドを設けることから、刈取搬送装置の走行機体に対する左右方向での摺動変位にかかわらず、フィードチェーンと供給ガイドとの位置関係を一定にすることができ、もって、供給ガイドを下降作用位置に位置させた状態では、中割り作業や回り刈り作業などの作業形態に応じた刈取搬送装置の走行機体に対する左右方向での摺動変位にかかわらず、供給ガイドによる刈取搬送装置からフィードチェーンへの刈取穀稈の案内を良好に行える。又、枕扱き作業時には、枕扱きカバーを作用状態に切り換えてフィードチェーンの搬送始端側を上方から覆うようにすれば、その枕扱きカバーを刈取穀稈を仮置きする載置台として利用できることから、刈取穀稈のフィードチェーンへの人為供給が行い易くなる。

しかしながら、上記特許文献2に記載の従来技術では、刈取収穫作業を行う場合と枕扱き作業を行う場合とに応じて、供給ガイド及び枕扱きカバーを切り換え操作する必要があり、しかも、枕扱きカバーの作用状態への切り換えは、刈取搬送装置を走行機体に対する左右方向での特定の取り付け位置に位置させた状態でしか行えず、その特定位置から刈取搬送装置が外れている状態で枕扱きカバーを作用状態に切り換える必要が生じた場合には、走行機体に対する刈取搬送装置の変位操作をも行わなければならないことから、収穫作業効率の向上を図る上において改善の余地がある。

本発明の目的は、収穫作業効率の向上などを図れるようにしながら、刈取収穫作業及び枕扱き作業を良好に行えるようにすることにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
〔構成〕
上記目的を達成するため、本発明のうちの請求項1に記載の発明では、走行機体に、植立穀稈を刈り取って搬送する刈取搬送装置を昇降揺動可能に、かつ、左右方向に摺動変位可能に連結装備するとともに、前記刈取搬送装置によって搬送された刈取穀稈を受け取って搬送するフィードチェーンを左右一側部に備えた脱穀装置を搭載してあるコンバインにおいて、前記フィードチェーン側となる前記刈取搬送装置の左右一側部に、該刈取搬送装置から前記フィードチェーンに向けて該フィードチェーンの搬送始端側上部に接当する状態に延出して前記刈取搬送装置からの刈取穀稈を前記フィードチェーンに案内するガイド杆と、そのガイド杆の上方から前記フィードチェーンの搬送始端側を覆う枕扱きカバーとを備えた穀稈ガイドを装備し、前記穀稈ガイドと前記刈取搬送装置の左右方向での相対摺動を許容するように構成され、かつ、前記刈取搬送装置の左右方向への摺動変位に伴って、前記穀稈ガイドが前記刈取搬送装置の摺動変位方向と反対の方向に摺動変位するように、前記穀稈ガイドを押し引き操作する連係手段を備えて、前記フィードチェーンに対する左右方向での所定位置に維持する維持機構を設けてある。

〔作用〕
上記請求項1に記載の発明によると、刈取搬送装置を、中割り作業や回り刈り作業などの作業形態に応じた走行機体に対する適切な位置に位置させるために、走行機体に対して左右方向に摺動変位させたとしても、穀稈ガイドは、その摺動変位する刈取搬送装置に装備されるものでありながら、維持機構によって、刈取搬送装置の左右方向への摺動変位にかかわらず、そのガイド杆がフィードチェーンの搬送始端側上部に接当する状態に、又、その枕扱きカバーがガイド杆の上方からフィードチェーンの搬送始端側を覆う状態に維持されるようになる。

その結果、中割り作業や回り刈り作業などの刈取収穫作業を行う場合には、そのときの作業形態に応じた走行機体に対する刈取搬送装置の左右方向での摺動変位にかかわらず、刈取搬送装置からの刈取穀稈は、枕扱きカバーの下方においてフィードチェーンの搬送始端側上部に接当する状態となっているガイド杆によってフィードチェーンに案内されるようになる。

又、枕扱き作業を行う場合には、そのときの走行機体に対する刈取搬送装置の左右方向での摺動変位にかかわらず、フィードチェーンに対して人為供給する刈取穀稈を、ガイド杆の上方からフィードチェーンの搬送始端側を覆う状態となっている枕扱きカバーに仮置きすることができ、これによって、フィードチェーンに対する刈取穀稈の人為供給の際に、その穂先側がフィードチェーンに接触するなどの不都合が生じ難くなる。

しかも、穀稈ガイドは、維持機構が穀稈ガイドに対する刈取搬送装置の左右方向への摺動変位を許容することで、走行機体に対する刈取搬送装置の左右方向での摺動変位にかかわらず、フィードチェーンに対する左右方向での所定位置、言い換えると、そのガイド杆がフィードチェーンの搬送始端側上部に接当する位置に維持されることから、刈取搬送装置を走行機体に対して左右方向に摺動変位させる際に、ガイド杆とフィードチェーンとの間において無理な擦れが生じることはなく、もって、その無理な擦れに起因したガイド杆及びフィードチェーンの早期の損耗を未然に回避できるようになる。

つまり、刈取収穫作業を行う場合と枕扱き作業を行う場合とに応じてガイド杆及び枕扱きカバーを切り換え操作する手間を要することなく、又、刈取搬送装置の左右方向への摺動変位によってフィードチェーンとガイド杆との間での無理な擦れに起因した早期損耗を招くことなく、刈取収穫作業時には、ガイド杆による刈取搬送装置からフィードチェーンへの刈取穀稈の案内が良好に行われるようになり、又、枕扱き作業時には、枕扱きカバーを刈取穀稈を仮置きする載置台として利用することができて、フィードチェーンに対する刈取穀稈の人為供給が行い易くなり、結果、収穫作業効率の向上やガイド杆及びフィードチェーンの耐久性の向上を図りながら、刈取収穫作業及び枕扱き作業を良好に行えるようになる。

本発明のうちの請求項2に記載の発明では、上記請求項1に記載の発明において、前記維持機構を、前記刈取搬送装置と前記穀稈ガイドとを左右方向に相対摺動可能に連結する連結部と、前記穀稈ガイドを前記刈取搬送装置における前記左右一側部の外方に向けて付勢する状態に前記刈取搬送装置と前記穀稈ガイドとの間に介装されるバネと、インナーワイヤが前記走行機体と前記所定位置の前記穀稈ガイドとにわたって掛け渡され、アウターワイヤが前記刈取搬送装置の左右方向への摺動変位に伴って前記インナーワイヤに沿って前記刈取搬送装置の変位方向と同方向に変位する状態に前記刈取搬送装置に支持される連係ワイヤとから構成してある。

上記請求項2に記載の発明によると、穀稈ガイドは、連結部を介して刈取搬送装置に連結装備されるものでありながらも、刈取搬送装置を走行機体に対して左右方向に摺動変位させる場合には、その連結部によって刈取搬送装置に対する左右方向での相対摺動が許容され、又、バネによって、走行機体に対する刈取搬送装置の左右他側部方向への変位に伴うその左右他側部方向への移動が阻止され、更に、連係ワイヤによって、走行機体に対する刈取搬送装置の左右一側部方向への変位に伴うその左右一側部方向への移動が阻止されるようになり、もって、フィードチェーンに対する左右方向での所定位置に維持されるようになる。

つまり、連結部によって穀稈ガイドを刈取搬送装置に連結し、バネによって穀稈ガイドを付勢し、連係ワイヤによって走行機体と刈取搬送装置と穀稈ガイドとを連係するだけの比較的に簡単で安価な構成でありながら、走行機体に対する刈取搬送装置の左右方向への摺動変位にかかわらず、穀稈ガイドをフィードチェーンに対する左右方向での所定位置に維持することができるのであり、その結果、構成の簡素化及びコストの削減を図りながら、収穫作業効率の向上やガイド杆及びフィードチェーンの耐久性の向上を図れるとともに、刈取収穫作業及び枕扱き作業を良好に行えるようになる。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1にはコンバインの全体側面が示されており、このコンバインは、左右一対のクローラ式走行装置1の駆動で走行する走行機体2の前部に、植立穀稈を刈り取って後方に向けて搬送する刈取搬送装置3を昇降揺動可能に、かつ、左右方向に摺動変位可能に連結装備し、その刈取搬送装置3からの刈取穀稈に対して脱穀処理を施すとともに、この脱穀処理で得られた処理物に対して選別処理を施す脱穀装置4や、この脱穀装置4からの穀粒を貯留する穀粒タンク5などを走行機体2に搭載し、走行機体2における穀粒タンク5の前方箇所に運転座席6などを備えた搭乗運転部7を形成して自脱形に構成されている。

穀稈搬送装置12は、刈取穀稈の穂先側を係止搬送する係止搬送機構13や、刈取穀稈の株元側を挾持搬送する挾持搬送機構14などを備えて構成され、その係止搬送機構13が、脱穀装置4の正面に形成された図外の投入口に刈取穀稈の穂先側を供給し、その挾持搬送機構14が、脱穀装置4の左側部に装備されたフィードチェーン15の搬送始端部に刈取穀稈の株元側を受け渡すようになっている。
