この発明は、野菜等の苗を畑圃場に形成した畝に植付ける苗植機の技術分野に属する。

【従来の技術】
従来、実開平3−117408号公報に開示されるように、畝を跨いで走行する左右一対の前輪と左右一対の後輪を設けた車体の後部に歩行操縦用の操縦ハンドルを設け、機体側面視で前記後輪から操縦ハンドルにかけての前後間に、上下動して圃場に苗を植付ける苗植付装置と、該苗植付装置の上から苗を供給する苗供給装置を設けた苗植機がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記従来の苗植機では、作業者が機体の前進走行に追従して歩行しながら苗供給装置に苗を補給しなければならないので、作業が容易ではなかった。また、広幅の畝に対して植付作業を行う場合は、作業者が歩行する個所となる畝側方の谷部と、植付作業を行う畝の上方に位置する苗供給装置まで遠くなり、苗供給装置への苗補給作業が容易に行えなかった。

そこで、機体に座席を設けてその座席に座って苗供給装置に苗を補給することが考えられる。畑圃場での苗植機において、そのような座席を設けたものは、例えば、実開昭60−87511号公報に開示されるように、機体側面視で前輪と後輪との前後間に苗植付装置を配置した構成の苗植機において、機体側面視で前輪と後輪との前後間であって苗植付装置の後方近傍に作業者用座席を配置したものがある。しかしながら、機体側面視で後輪から機体後部の操縦ハンドルにかけての前後間に苗植付装置と、該苗植付装置の上から苗を供給する苗供給装置を設けた歩行操縦タイプの構成とした苗植機においては、前記の苗植機とは苗植付装置の位置が異なり、もともと前記のように作業者が乗車する構成を意図していない構成であるため、このような構成の苗植機に、苗供給装置への苗補給作業を行う座席を設けるには、少なからずの工夫を要する。前記の苗植機のように単純に苗供給装置の後側に配置したのでは、苗供給装置の手前に操縦ハンドルが位置することになって苗供給装置への苗補給作業が容易に行えず、また、機体の前後長が長くなって、機体の操縦性が悪くなるのである。

そこで、本発明は、機体側面視で後輪から機体後部の操縦ハンドルにかけての前後間に苗植付装置と苗供給装置を設けた歩行操縦タイプの構成とした苗植機において、苗補給作業用の座席を設けて苗補給作業の容易化を図るとともに、機体の前後長が長くならないようして機体の操縦性をできるだけ低下させないようにすることを課題とする。

本件発明は、上記課題を解決するために、以下の構成としたものである。

【作用及び発明の効果】
請求項1記載の発明の苗植機は、左右の走行部1,1,14,14が畝を跨いで走行し、苗供給装置4が苗を苗植付装置5に供給し、苗植付装置5は上下動して圃場に苗を植付ける。苗供給装置4への苗の補給作業は、車体3に設けた作業者着座部Sの座席6に作業者が座って行える。座席6は、操縦ハンドル2の後端部より前側且つ左右外側で苗供給装置4の後側近傍にを配置されるので、苗供給装置4への苗の補給作業が容易に行え、しかも、座席6を設けた構成であるが機体の前後長が長くならず、機体操縦も容易に行える。更に、作業者着座部Sを車体3に対して左右位置変更可能に設けたので、作業時には苗供給装置4への苗の補給作業が行い易い位置に座席6の左右位置を調節でき、また、非作業時には作業者着座部Sを機体内側に移動して機体幅を狭く、機体の運搬、移動、格納をし易くできる。

この発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
図に示す苗植機は、畝を跨いで走行する左右一対の前輪14,14と左右一対の後輪1,1からなる走行部を設けた車体3の後部に歩行操縦用の操縦ハンドル2を設け、機体側面視で前記走行部の後側接地部(後輪)1,1から操縦ハンドル2にかけての前後間に、上下動して圃場に苗を植付ける苗植付装置5と、該苗植付装置5の上から苗を供給する苗供給装置4を設けた構成のものである。

本例では、上記車輪14,14,1,1のうち左右一対の前輪14,14を遊転車輪とし、左右一対の後輪1,1を動力が伝達されて駆動回転する駆動車輪としている。なお、上記車輪14,14,1,1によるホイールタイプの走行部に替えて、クローラタイプの走行部を採用することもできる。この場合、上下動して圃場に苗を植付ける苗植付装置5と、該苗植付装置5の上から苗を供給する苗供給装置4は、機体側面視でクローラの接地部後端部から操縦ハンドル2にかけての前後間に配置される。また、上記左右の走行部14,14,1,1は、車体3に対して左右位置変更調節可能に設けていて、畝幅が異なる場合にも適宜対応して走行することができるようになっている。走行部14,14,1,1の車体3に対する左右位置変更調節機構は、走行部14,14,1,1の車体3に対する支持部を左右伸縮構成にする等の構成で可能となる。

車体3の各部具体構成について以下説明する。車体3は、その前部にエンジン13を搭載し、前部左右両側には前輪14,14を伸縮可能の前輪アーム15で支持し、左右両側のアクスルハウジング16,16の周りに後部が上下動可能の伝動ケース17,17の後部側面から突出する車軸18に駆動車輪1,1を装着し、エンジン13の後側に配置したミッションケース19の後部から後方にのびるフレーム10を突出させて、このフレーム10の後上がり傾斜でのびる後部の上端部に歩行操縦用の操縦ハンドル2を取付けている。操縦ハンドル2の後端部は、機体後方側に立つ操縦者が手で握るグリップ部11となっており、そのグリップ部は図に示すように左右一対設けた構成としても、操縦ハンドルの左右各後端部を互いに連結して平面視ループ状のハンドルに構成してもよい。この場合、操縦ハンドルの左右各後端部を互いに連結する部分をグリップ部に構成する。

また、車体3の前記ミッションケース19の後側には、油圧等により駆動される車輪昇降用シリンダ20を有し、該シリンダ20から後方に突出し或はシリンダ2内に引込み動作するピストンの先端部に左右横方向にのびるアーム21の中央部を連結している。このアーム21の左右両端部と駆動車輪1,1を取付けた前記伝動ケース17,17の基部に一体のアーム22との間を、右側では連動ロッド23で連結し、左側では油圧等によって伸縮動作可能なローリング動作用シリンダ24を介在させて連結する。このように構成により、車輪昇降用シリンダ20を伸縮動作させると、左右の駆動車輪1,1が上下動し、車体3が上下動することになる。また、ローリング動作用シリンダ24を伸縮動作させるとローリング動作用シリンダ24を設けた側の駆動車輪1が昇降し、車体3が左右に傾動することになる。車輪昇降用シリンダ20は左右の駆動車輪1,1の間に配置されて畝上面に接地する接地センサ25によって車体3の畝上面に対する高さが検出され、この検出高さが設定高さとなるように車輪昇降用シリンダ20が動作するように構成している。ローリング動作用シリンダ24の伸縮動作は、操縦ハンドル2付近に設けた操作具によって操縦者が適宜動作可能に構成している。

苗植付装置5,5は、本例では、同時に2条植え付けられるよう左右に並べて2体設け、且つ、二体の苗植付装置5,5は左右車輪間の中央位置から左右一方側に偏らせて配置したものとしている。これにより広幅の畝Aを往復作業走行して4条植え付けることができる。各苗植付装置5は苗を上方から投入されるようになっていて下部が前後に開閉する一対のくちばし状の苗植付具27となっている。苗植付装置5,5は、各苗植付装置5の上方に設けた苗供給装置4,4の苗供給カップ28から落下供給される苗を受けて下降し、畝Aにくちばし状の苗植付具27の下部が突き刺して前後に開き、植付穴を形成するとともに苗をその植付穴に放出して植付る。前記ミッションケース19の後部には植付伝動ケース29が連結されていて、この植付伝動ケース29内の伝動機構を経由して苗植付装置5,5と苗供給装置4、4等が駆動される。前後一対の駆動回転するアーム30,30によって、後部が前後揺動自在の支持アーム32,32に回動自在に支持される前後の昇降アーム31,31が上下動されるように構成され、この昇降アーム31,31の各先端部を苗植付具27の前後の支持軸33,33に回動自在に取付けている。昇降アーム31,31が上下動されることによって苗植付具27が植付軌跡線Tに沿って上下動され、また、昇降アーム31,31に連動する苗植付具27の開閉機構が作動して、上端位置から下端位置までの下降するときははくちばし状の苗植付具27が閉じた状態となり、下端位置で前後に開き、そして、前後に開いた状態で上昇し、上端位置で再び閉じるように動作する。植付後の苗は、その左右側方の土が左右の鎮圧輪26,26で鎮圧されて覆土される。

苗供給装置4、4は、左右の苗植付具27,27の各上方に配置される。苗供給装置4,4は、それぞれ、中心部を支持ベース34に設けられた軸心上下方向の回転軸35によって回転駆動される円盤状部材の外周に沿ってカップ状の苗供給カップ28・・・を複数一定間隔で配置した構成である。作業者は、苗供給カップ28・・・の上方から苗を投入して苗を補給することになる。各苗供給カップ28の底部には開閉自在の底蓋36が設けられ、前記軌跡Tの上端位置に苗植付具27が位置するとき、その上方に繰り出された苗供給カップ28の底蓋36が開き、それ以外の場所では底蓋36が閉じるように設けている。苗植付具27が上下動するごとに苗供給装置4、4が回転駆動されて苗を収容した苗供給カップ28・・・が苗植付具27の上方に一つづつ繰り出されるように動作して、苗植付具27に苗を供給するようになっている。苗供給装置4,4への伝動は、前記植付伝動ケース29内の伝動機構を経由して伝動され、苗植付装置5,5とタイミングを合わせて連動する。左右の苗供給装置4,4の各支持ベース34,34は、前記植付伝動ケース29の上部と前記フレーム10の後部とに前後端部を取付けた中央支持フレーム37と、該中央支持フレーム37から左右にのびる側部支持フレーム38とで支持する構成としている。苗供給装置4,4の前側の機体上部に、支持フレーム39で支持される予備苗載台40を設け、該予備苗載台40に苗を収容した苗箱を載せられるようになっている。

上記のように構成した苗植機において、前記苗供給装置4に苗を補給する作業者が座る座席6を備えた作業者着座部Sを設けた構成としている。

図に示した本例の構成は、以下のようになっている。座席6は、操縦ハンドル2の後端部より前側且つ側方で苗供給装置4,4の後側近傍で左右外側寄りに設けられている。この座席6に作業者が座れば、苗供給装置4,4と操縦ハンドル2との近くに位置するため、苗供給装置4,4の苗供給カップ28・・・への苗の補給作業が容易に行え、また、操縦ハンドル2やその近傍に配置された機体操縦用の操作具の操作も容易に行うことができる。更に、この座席6は機体側部に位置するため、作業者Mは、畝Aを踏むことなく畝側方の谷部Bから容易に乗り降りできる。支持輪7はこの座席6の下側に設けられる。又、足載せ部としてのステップ8はこの座席6の前側下方に設けられる。

前記作業者着座部Sを車体3に取付けるフレーム42,43を左右方向にのびる部材で構成し、該フレーム42,43を、後端部に前記操縦ハンドル2を取付けた前後にのびるハンドルフレーム10に取付けている。よって、作業者着座部Sの車体3への取付けが簡易なフレーム構成で可能となり、機体の重量アップやコストアップをできるだけ少なくできる。
