従来のフューエルリッドの支持構造では、車体パネルの側面にヒンジ部材が固定されるスペース及びばね部材が当接するばね受けのスペースが確保されているため、フューエルリッドを開いた際にヒンジ部材の固定部位及びばね受けの部位が開口に存在した状態になる。このため、限られた開口のスペースに制約が生じ燃料ガンを挿入する等の実用領域のスペースとしての有効開口を確保できていないのが現状であった。

本発明は上記状況に鑑みてなされたもので、燃料注入口を有する開口を有効に利用できるフューエルリッドの支持構造を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するための本発明のフューエルリッドの支持構造は、燃料注入口を有する開口を車体パネルに形成し、該車体パネルの面に対し略直交する方向にヒンジ取付き面を開口の内周の一側部に形成して、前記開口の上縁から下縁まで延在するヒンジを前記ヒンジ取付き面に固定し、前記ヒンジにリッド側を取付けることで該リッドを開口に対して開閉自在に支持し、前記ヒンジの両端部にばね受け部を設け、前記ばね受け部に対応する前記リッドの裏面に該リッドを閉じた際に該リッドを開方向に付勢する弾性部材を設けたことでばね受けの部位をヒンジの中央部から外して開口の実用スペースを確保するようにしたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1には本発明の一実施形態例に係るフューエルリッドの支持構造を表すリッド部の斜視、図2にはヒンジの斜視、図3には図1中のIII-III 線矢視、図4には図1中のIV-IV 線矢視を示してある。

図に示すように、車体パネルとしてのサイドパネル1の車体後方部には燃料注入部2が形成され、燃料注入部2は燃料注入口3を有する開口4となっている。燃料注入部2の開口4の内周の一側部の面5(図1中右側:ヒンジ取付き面)には上下方向に延びるヒンジ6が固定されている。ヒンジ6には上下方向の中心ピン7が設けられ、中心ピン7にリッド8の端部が回動自在に支持されている。ヒンジ6の両端部位に対応するリッド8の裏面には取付部材9により弾性部材としてのS字状ばね10が固定されている。
