前述の課題を解決するための請求項1記載の発明の自動車用空調装置のファンユニットは、ダッシュパネルとグローブボックスとの間に配置されるファンユニットケースと、前記ファンユニットケースに収容される送風ファンと、前記ファンユニットケースに設けられ、外気を前記ファンユニットケース内に導入するための外気導入口と、前記ファンユニットケースに設けられ、内気を前記ファンユニットケース内に導入するための内気導入口と、前記外気導入口が前記内気導入口とを開閉する開閉ドアとを備えた自動車用空調装置のファンユニットにおいて、前記送風ファンが、その駆動軸が車両前後方向に沿うように配置され、前記外気導入口が前記ファンユニットケースの車両上下方向上側に配置され、前記内気導入口が、前記ファンユニットケースの車両上下方向上側で、且つ前記送風ファンの羽根部よりも前記グローブボックス側に配置され、且つ車両上下方向上方へ向けて開口した上側内気導入口と、車両上下方向下側で、且つ前記送風ファンの羽根部よりも前記グローブボックス側に配置され、且つ車両上下方向下方へ向けて開口した下側内気導入口とで構成されていることを特徴としている。
