Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a snow melting mat for stairs that prevents snow accumulation by melting snowfall on a pedestrian bridge or an outdoor staircase surface in a snowy area with electric heat.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Up to now, as a snow melting mat for stairs used for pedestrian bridges and outdoor stairs, a flat sheet heating element that has been covered with resin or rubber to protect the heating element and improved durability has been used. As shown in FIG. 1 of US Pat. No. 4,967,057, each stage is separately laid and used on the surface of a landing or each footboard.
[0003]
However, in the above-mentioned snow melting mat for stairs, the edge portion of the stairs cannot be covered and exposed, so there was a drawback that the snowfall on this edge portion was not melted and snow accumulated, and the short snow melting mat was attached to the stairs. A plurality of sheets must be prepared according to the number of stages, and wiring work for connecting the mats to each other with a cord and connecting to a power source is required, which is complicated and inefficient.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, the present inventors have solved the above-mentioned problems by using a single stepped snow mat that continuously covers the surface from the upper step to the lower step of the staircase along the step portion. However, the present invention is directed to improving this, and is intended to prevent the mat from being worn and slipped at the edge portion of the stairs that a person always steps when walking on the stairs. It is for the purpose.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is a single long mat that continuously covers the surface from the upper step to the lower step of the staircase along the step portion, and is a flexible heating element that generates heat when energized. It is composed of a rubber covering in which a planar heating cloth containing a heating yarn is embedded, and the flexible heating yarn is disposed along the length direction of the rubber covering, and the flexible heating yarn is arranged. An energizing wiring cord connected to the rubber covering is disposed and embedded along the width direction at the side edge in the length direction of the rubber covering, and the flexible heating yarn is disposed along the step of the staircase. The wiring cord is arranged along the width direction of the staircase, and a non-slip tape is attached to the bent portion of the rubber covering covering the edge portion of the staircase to constitute the snow melting mat for the staircase. is there.
[0006]
According to the present invention, it is of course possible to prevent snow accumulation at the edge portion of the staircase by the rubber covering in which the planar heating cloth containing the flexible heating yarn that generates heat when energized is used as the heating element. However, the edge that humans are most likely to step on when ascending and descending stairs is protected by a non-slip tape attached to the rubber covering, preventing wear on the rubber covering and making it more slippery due to melting snow. Slip accidents at the edge can be prevented.
[0007]
【Example】
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
1 and 2 are a cross-sectional view of a snow melting mat 1 for a staircase before laying on a staircase and a plan view in a state where an upper covering rubber layer is peeled off, 2 and 2 are upper and lower covering rubber layers, 3 is a flexible Sheet-like heating cloth 5 made of imitation woven fabric knitted with heat-generating heating yarn 4 and a wiring cord.
[0008]
The snow melting mat 1 is formed to be thin and long, for example, having a width of 850 mm, a length of 3000 mm, and a thickness of 3 mm, and the hardness of the rubber material that forms the covering rubber layers 2 and 2 so as to maintain flexibility (Hs: JIS A) is set to 75 degrees or less.
[0009]
The flexible heating yarn 4 has an electric resistance value suitable as a heating element, and has excellent flexibility and bending durability and tensile strength compared to a nichrome wire or the like, such as a metal fiber and an organic fiber. A heat-generating fiber or carbon fiber mixed with fibers is used, and a planar shape which is a woven or knitted fabric composed of the flexible heat-generating yarn 4 and a flexible non-conductive yarn such as ordinary synthetic fiber or natural fiber. The heating cloth 3 is sandwiched between the upper and lower covering rubber layers 2 and 2 and is integrally integrated.
[0010]
The flexible heating yarn 4 is used as either a warp group or a weft group constituting the planar heating cloth 3 or an insertion yarn of a warp or a weft insertion knitting, and the arrangement in the woven or knitted fabric is a covered rubber. It is made along the length direction of the layer, that is, the direction along the step of the staircase. As the ground texture of the planar heating cloth 3, imitation weaving or leopard weaving is adopted, the density of the weaving is roughened to form large mesh-like voids on the surface, and the upper and lower covering rubber layers 2, 2 It is preferable that the two can be bonded and integrated through this gap.
[0011]
The wiring cords 5 and 5 are directly connected to the flexible heating yarn 4 via the crimping terminal 6 in order to heat the flexible heating yarn 4 by energizing from a power source (not shown). It consists of a heat-resistant silicone electric wire, and is arranged and embedded along the width direction, that is, the width direction of the stairs, at both side edges 2a and 2b in the length direction of the covering rubber layer.
[0012]
In the snow melting mat 1 as described above, for example, the planar heating cloth 3 and the wiring cords 5 and 5 connected thereto are placed at predetermined positions on an unvulcanized EPDM rubber sheet, and then the same as described above. Covered with EPDM rubber sheet, sandwiched between two rubber sheets, heated and pressurized, and integrated by vulcanization adhesion to form a planar heater. As shown in FIG. 8 are continuously laid along the surface, and are fixedly attached to the vertical portion 9 of the staircase 7 by an appropriate fixture (for example, anchor bolt 10).
[0013]
The snow melting mat 1 includes a bent portion 11 that is bent at a substantially right angle at the edge portion of the staircase, and a non-slip tape 12 is attached to the surface of the bent portion 11.
[0014]
As the non-slip tape 12, a non-slip layer on the surface is formed of artificial abrasive grains, which is adhered to a base material (lining) with an adhesive, and an adhesive layer is formed on the back surface of the base material (for example, Nippon Ko- “Non-slip” manufactured by Ted Abrasive Co., Ltd.) is used, but a non-slip tape using a cloth as the base material is preferable because it is flexible and does not crack even if it is repeatedly stepped on. In general, an anti-slip tape is constructed by laying a snow-melting mat on the stairs, then peeling off the backing paper and sticking the adhesive layer to the folded part. The worn snow melting mat may be laid on the stairs.
[0015]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, by continuously covering the surface including the edge portion of the staircase with a single long snow melting mat, it is possible to prevent snow accumulation on the edge portion and to prevent slippage on the edge portion. It is possible to prevent wear of the rubber covering, increase the life of the product, and prevent a slip accident on a slippery stair by melted water, and expect safe walking.
