図11に示すように、パレット2に載せられた荷物3を格納するラック式倉庫システムとして、柱材1とパレット支持部材4とから格子状に形成されたラック6の集合体である収納部5を互いに向き合わせて配置し、その間にスタッカクレーン7を水平方向に移動自在に設けたものが知られている。このスタッカクレーン7の枠体8には、収納部5に沿って上下方向に移動するケージフレーム9が設けられている。この二方向の移動によって、このスタッカクレーン7は、荷物3をパレット2と共に所望の場所のパレット支持部材4へ移動できる。

前記課題を解決すべく本発明は、荷物の収納部に設けられた複数の固定棚と、上記収納部に着脱自在に取り付けられた可動棚と、これら固定棚又は可動棚に荷物を受け渡すべく上記収納部に沿って移動するスタッカクレーンと、該スタッカクレーンに設けられ上記荷物又は可動棚を保持する可動フォークとを備え、該可動フォークが、上記スタッカクレーン側から上記収納部側へ移動自在に設けられ、上記可動棚を使用頻度の低い固定棚に複数積層して保管するようにし、且つ各可動棚にこれらを積層したとき各可動棚の間に上記可動フォークを差し込む隙間を形成するためのスペーサとしての部材を取り付け、該部材が、上記可動棚の上面部に、上記可動フォークのスタッカクレーン側から収納部側への移動方向に沿って形成された棒状部材からなり、該棒状部材が、上記可動フォークによってスタッカクレーン側から収納部側へ移動される荷物のガイドを兼ねるものである。

上記構成によれば、スタッカクレーンの可動フォークによって可動棚を適宜着脱することにより、荷姿の変化によるラックの開口の変更を短時間で容易に行うことができる。また、可動棚を複数積み重ねても、フォークを用いて容易に移動することができる。

以下、本発明の実施の一形態を添付図面に従って説明する。

図1に示すように、本実施形態における収納部5は、柱材1と、柱材1同士を結ぶ構造水平材としての役目と荷物3を載置する棚としての役目を兼用する固定棚11と、可動棚12の両端部を支持すべく柱材1に取り付けられた棚固定部材13と、棚固定部材13に着脱される可動棚12とから主に構成されている。

柱材1は充分な強度を有しており、倉庫の床面から天井に向かって垂直に延出されている。この柱材1は、スタッカクレーン18の走行方向に沿って、荷物3が三つ並んで収納できる間隔を隔てて配置されており、スタッカクレーン18の走行方向と直交方向(図1の紙面裏表方向)に二列設けられている。そして、この隣接する柱材1同士を固定させるように固定棚11が溶接またはボルト等により、水平に固着されている。この固定棚11は背の高い荷物3aが収納できる高さに上下方向に等間隔に設けられている。そして、これら柱材1と固定棚11によってパレット2を載置するラック6が格子状に構成されることとなる。
