Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention, power tools, and attached to the air tool or the like is rotated at a high speed, metal, a method for manufacturing a cup-shaped rotary brush for polishing the surface of the non-ferrous metals.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A cup-type rotating brush that provides excellent polishing performance and a good finished surface as a tool for polishing and finishing metal processed surfaces and welds and polishing and removing burrs and rust generated on metal surfaces. Many are used.
[0003]
Generally, a spring steel wire is used as the wire forming the brush portion of the cup-type rotating brush. Further, the outer casing for holding and fixing the brush portion, the inner casing, the caulking ring for connecting them, and the ring for fixing the wire are all made of metal.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Therefore, the weight of the rotating brush itself is large, and the fatigue of the worker when polishing the metal surface by attaching it to the spindle of the air tool or power tool is great, and the burden on the air tool or power tool is also large. There's a problem.
[0005]
Further, the rotating brush is a consumable item, and when the brush is worn, it is discarded and replaced with a new one. In other words, the conventional rotating brush has a large number of wires arranged one by one, or is folded in two and hooked onto a ring and arranged radially, and this is interposed between the outer cage and the inner cage. In this state, it is integrally formed by caulking and fixing with caulking members such as nuts.
[0006]
Therefore, since the wire cannot be disassembled from the outer casing or inner casing, if the wire is worn, the entire rotating brush is discarded, and there are no outer casing, inner casing, or nut that is not damaged even if the wire is worn. As a result of disposal, resources are wasted and waste is increased.
[0007]
In addition, even when the brush part is made of nylon filament or polyamide or polyester chemical fiber mixed with abrasive grains, the outer casing, inner casing and nut are made of metal, so the brush section is worn. Even in the case of disposal, there is a problem that it is difficult to separate dust because the metal portion and the synthetic resin portion exist.
[0008]
The present invention has been made paying attention to the above circumstances, and the object of the present invention is that it can be manufactured at a light weight and at a low cost, reduces the fatigue of the worker during the polishing work, and also imposes a burden on the air tool and the power tool. It is to provide a method for manufacturing a cup-shaped rotary brush that can be reduced.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-described object, the present invention provides a lower jig having a conical tube portion and a bottom portion that protrudes horizontally outward from the lower end edge, and a diameter larger than the conical tube portion of the lower jig. Using the upper jig with both ends opening having a conical cylinder part, a large number of chemical fiber bundles cut to a predetermined length are aligned and leaned against the outer peripheral surface of the conical cylinder part of the lower jig A first step of contacting the lower end of the lower jig to the bottom of the lower jig; and the outer jig of the chemical fiber bundle leaning against the lower jig is fitted with the upper jig from the outside to form a conical cylinder portion. A second step of pressing the chemical fiber bundle against the conical cylinder part of the lower jig on the inner peripheral surface of the lower jig, and closely contacting the base end part thereof ;
A third step of welding only the base end portion of the chemical fiber bundle and integrally bonding to form a brush bundle, and the disk-shaped base formed of a synthetic resin material and having an annular groove on the lower surface thereof A fourth step of applying an adhesive to the annular groove; and removing the lower jig and the upper jig from the brush bundle, and fitting a base end portion of the brush bundle into the annular groove of the base. And a fifth step of bonding the base to the base.
[0012]
According to the said structure, since it consists of two parts, a base and a brush bundle, while being structurally simple, it is lightweight and can reduce an operator's burden. In addition, centrifugal force acts on the brush bundle during rotation of the rotating brush, but the proximal end of the brush bundle is heat-welded and solidified, so that the hair of the brush bundle can be prevented from being removed. Since the base end portion is fixed by an adhesive or the like while being fitted in the annular groove of the base, the brush bundle does not come out of the base and is excellent in safety.
[0013]
In addition, the rotating brush gradually wears due to the polishing operation, and the brush bundle becomes shorter and becomes unusable. However, since the rotating brush is a worn brush bundle with the base, the amount is small even if discarded. Yes, resource waste and waste can be reduced.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, since it is composed of two parts, a base made of a synthetic resin material and a brush bundle made of a chemical fiber, it can be manufactured at a light weight and at a low cost, and can be manufactured by an operator during polishing work. This has the effect of reducing fatigue and the burden on the air tool and power tool.
[0032]
In addition, while the rotating brush rotates, centrifugal force acts on the brush bundle, but since the base end of the brush bundle is heat-welded and solidified, the hair of the brush bundle can be prevented from being removed. Since the base end portion is fixed by an adhesive or the like while being fitted in the annular groove of the base, the brush bundle does not come out of the base and is excellent in safety.
[0033]
In addition, the rotating brush gradually wears due to the polishing operation, and the brush bundle becomes shorter and becomes unusable. However, since the rotating brush is a worn brush bundle with the base, the amount is small even if discarded. Yes, resource waste and waste can be reduced. Furthermore, since all the rotating brushes are made of a synthetic resin system, even when discarded as garbage, there is no doubt about the separation of the garbage.
