Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an embroidery frame mounting structure in which an embroidery frame for holding an object to be embroidered is mounted to a drive frame for driving the embroidery frame back and forth and from side to side.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a conventional embroidery frame mounting structure, there is a structure shown in FIG. In FIG. 7, 11f is an embroidery frame, and the inside is an embroidery space 12f. Plate-like connecting members 13f and 14f are fixed to the left and right edges of the embroidery frame 11f, respectively. A cutout groove 51 that opens in the left direction is formed in the left connecting member 13f, and a cutout groove 52 that opens in the back side is formed in the right connecting member 14f. On the other hand, 7f indicates a frame for driving the embroidery frame in the embroidery sewing machine. 21f and 22f are a pair of holding members in the drive frame 7f. In order to fix the holding members 21f and 22f with the connecting members 13f and 14f on the upper surfaces thereof, screw rods 53 projecting from the upper surfaces of the holding members 21f and 22f and nuts screwed to the screw rods 53 are provided. (For example, refer to Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 1-11752).
[0003]
In the above configuration, when attaching the embroidery frame to the holding members 21f and 22f, the connecting members 13f and 14f are placed on the holding members 21f and 22f so that the screw rod 53 enters the notches 51 and 52, and the nut 54 is tightened. Thus, the embroidery frame 11f can be attached to the holding members 21f and 22f at fixed positions. At the time of embroidery, the movement of the drive frame 7f can be transmitted to the embroidery frame 11f via the holding members 21f and 22f, the screw rod 53, and the connecting members 13f and 14f. As a result, an accurate pattern can be sewn at a predetermined position on the cloth previously attached to the embroidery frame 11f.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In this conventional embroidery frame mounting structure, the nut 54 must be turned and tightened at the time of the above mounting, which is troublesome. Also, if the nut 54 is loosely tightened, the connecting members 13f and 14f are displaced back and forth with respect to the holding members 21f and 22f during embroidery, and the embroidery pattern collapses. It must be done carefully, and in this respect, there is a problem that the mounting is troublesome.
[0005]
The embroidery frame mounting structure of the present application is provided in order to solve the problems of the prior art.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the embroidery frame mounting structure in the present invention is:
An embroidery frame that can be moved back and forth, left and right, and is positioned between two holding members that protrude in a juxtaposed manner with a space for the embroidery frame between them. A flat plate-like coupling member for connecting the embroidery frame to the holding member is provided on both sides, and the coupling member is mounted on and removed from the holding member in a mounted state. In the mounting structure of the embroidery frame that is freely connected, the configuration of the two coupling members is such that one of the coupling members is fitted with a convex guide piece provided on the holding member at the back end. In addition to forming a U-shaped notch guide groove for mating, a fitting hole is formed near the front side for fitting to a convex fitting convex portion provided on the holding member. An engagement hole having a long diameter in the width direction is formed in the intermediate portion of the other coupling member. In this case, a fitting hole is formed near the back side, a U-shaped guide groove is formed at the front side end portion, and a convex engagement projection provided on the corresponding holding member is formed in the middle portion thereof. A notch to be formed on the back side of the above two U-shaped notch parts on the premise of the direction of the embroidery object mounted on the embroidery frame. When the part is selected and the both coupling members are put on the two holding members, there are two guide pieces on the holding member, the fitting convex part, and the engaging convex part on the coupling member side. Each of the guide groove, the fitting hole, and the engaging hole is arranged so as to be correspondingly fitted.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, drawings showing embodiments of the present invention will be described. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes an embroidery sewing machine. The embroidery sewing machine represents a part of a multi-head embroidery sewing machine, but may be a single embroidery sewing machine. The embroidery sewing machine 1 is a well-known machine and is configured as follows. That is, reference numeral 2 denotes a table, which includes a fixed portion 2a and a movable portion 2b. The movable portion 2b has a raised position where the upper surface thereof is flush with the upper surface of the fixed portion 2a and a lowered position shown in the drawing (when embroidering a part of the circumferential surface of a bag-like or cylindrical embroidery object, Since the non-embroidery portion of the object hangs down, it can be moved up and down between the position where the embroidery is retracted so as not to obstruct the suspending portion. 3 is a bed and 4 is a needle drop hole. Although not shown, a head is provided above each bed 3. Reference numeral 5 denotes a needle bar which is provided on the head and can move up and down, and has a needle 6 for sewing at the lower end. Reference numeral 7 denotes a drive frame for driving the embroidery frame, which is movable in the front-rear direction 7a and the left-right direction 7b. 7 ′ is a main frame in the drive frame 7 and is driven in the directions 7a and 7b by a drive mechanism (not shown). Reference numerals 8 and 9 denote holders for holding the embroidery frame, which are used to hold one embroidery frame at the left end and the right end thereof. Yes. In the present specification, the back side and the front side, which is the opposite side, refer to the side where the person who performs the operation centering on the embroidery sewing machine (the left diagonally lower side in the figure) is called the front side and the operation. The side far from the person (the side diagonally upward in the figure) is called the back side. Also, with respect to the holding tool 10 described below, the sides corresponding to them will be referred to as the front side and the back side, respectively.
[0008]
Next, 10 indicates a holder for holding the embroidery object 15. Reference numeral 11 denotes an embroidery frame in the holder, which is formed in an annular shape, and an inner side thereof is an embroidery space 12 for embroidering the workpiece. Reference numerals 13 and 14 denote connection members (also referred to as coupling members) provided on the left and right sides of the embroidery frame 11 for connection to the holder. 15 is an item to be embroidered, which is in the form of one piece of cloth, or in the form of a bag or cylinder that needs to be embroidered with the movable part table 2b lowered, such as clothing such as a trainer or T-shirt. The latter is illustrated here.
[0009]
Next, the holders 8 and 9 will be further described with reference to FIGS. Reference numerals 21 and 22 denote holding members for the holders 8 and 9, respectively. The rear end portions 21 'and 22' are attached to the main frame 7 ', and the embroidery frame 11 is juxtaposed with each other to hold the left and right sides It protrudes to the front side. The distance D between the holding members 21 and 22 is set such that a space for accommodating one embroidery frame 11 is secured between them. In this example, a holding member 21 or holding member 22 for holding one embroidery frame 11 and a holding member 22 or holding for holding another embroidery frame 11 brought to a position adjacent to the embroidery frame 11 Although an example in which the member 21 is integrally formed is shown, these may be formed separately and individually attached to the main frame 7 ′. Reference numerals 21a and 22a denote upper surfaces of the holding members 21 and 22, which are surfaces for receiving and supporting the lower surfaces of the connecting members 13 and 14, respectively. These receiving surfaces 21a and 22a are formed on smooth and flat surfaces in order to facilitate the insertion (sliding) of the connecting members 13 and 14 along them.
[0010]
Next, the fasteners 23 and 24 provided in the holders 8 and 9 for fastening the connecting members 13 and 14 to the holding members 21 and 22 will be described. Reference numeral 25 denotes a spacer provided on the holding members 21 and 22 for holding a base portion of a later-described pressing spring at a predetermined height from the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a. Reference numeral 26 denotes a floating prevention piece for preventing the end portions 13a and 14a of the connecting members 13 and 14 from floating from the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a, and a gap 27 for inserting the end portions 13a and 14a with respect to the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a. Are fixedly spaced apart. Although the spacer 25 is used as a holding body for the levitation prevention piece 26 as an example of the means provided in a fixed manner, it may be fixed to the holding members 21 and 22 using a holding body separate from the spacer 25. Reference numeral 28 denotes a stopper for restricting the insertion position (position toward the back side) of the connecting members 13 and 14 and shows an example in which a part of the spacer 25 is used. 30 is a guide piece for guiding the position of the connecting member 14 in the left-right direction with respect to the holder 9 when the connecting member 14 is attached to the holder 9, and is fixed to the holding member 22 in a state of protruding from the receiving surface 22a. Illustrate pins. Reference numeral 31 denotes a fitting portion provided on the holding member 22 and a fitting convex portion provided in a state of protruding from the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a. The above-mentioned fitting portion is used for positioning the connecting members 13 and 14 with respect to the holding members 21 and 22 and transmitting a horizontal force from the holding members 21 and 22 to the connecting members 13 and 14 by mutual fitting. Is. The fitting convex part 31 shows an example constituted by pins fixed to the holding members 21 and 22. The height of the fitting convex portion 31 is such that the connecting members 13 and 14 are inserted onto the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a while the connecting members 13 and 14 are slightly lifted from the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a. In order to be able to perform, it is made as low as possible within the range where the function as the fitting portion can be exhibited. The height of the connecting members 13 and 14 from the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a is almost completely prevented from rising due to the presence of the pressing spring described below. A high degree is sufficient.
[0011]
33 and 33 are pressing springs for preventing the pair of fitting portions from coming off. The connecting members 13 and 14 placed on the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a are pressed against the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a. The disengagement of the fitting is prevented by preventing the lifting from the above. In order to allow the pusher spring 33 to slide under the free end of the pusher spring 33 by pushing the connecting members 13 and 14 along the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a, the base part 34 is moved to the back side. It is positioned and fastened to the holding members 21 and 22 with fastening screws 35, and the front side is a free end. Reference numeral 36 denotes a free end, which serves as a pressing portion for pressing the connecting members 13 and 14 and preventing them from floating from the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a. The pressing portion 36 presses the connecting members 13 and 14 near the fitting convex portions 31 and 31 so that the fitting of the pair of fitting portions is difficult to come off. 37 is a guide portion for smoothly guiding the end portions 13a, 14a of the connecting member under the presser portion 36 when the connecting members 13, 14 are slid under the presser portion 36 along the receiving surfaces 21a, 22a. And, it is formed on the slope facing the lower front side. 38 is a guide pressing portion for guiding the end portions 13a, 14a so as to advance toward the gap 27 without abutting against the floating prevention body 26 when the connecting members 13, 14 are inserted. The end portions 13a and 14a are elastically pressed toward the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a to perform the guidance. Reference numeral 39 denotes a guide portion for smoothly guiding the end portions 13a and 14a of the connecting member below the pressing portion 38, and is formed on an inclined surface facing downward on the front side. The set screw 35 is also used as a means for fixing the spacer 25 to the holding members 21 and 22.
[0012]
Next, the holder 10 will be further described with reference to FIG. The embroidery frame 11 has a pair of frames that can be separated from each other, for example, an inner frame 41 and an outer frame so that the embroidery object can be held in a state where the embroidery planned place in the embroidery object is tightly stretched in the embroidery space 12. It consists of 42 and. In this case, the space inside the inner frame 41 is the embroidery space 12. The connecting members 13 and 14 are formed in a thin plate shape so that they can be slid under the pressing spring 33 by being pushed along the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a of the holding members 21 and 22 in the holders 8 and 9. It has become. As an example of means for forming such a plate shape, for example, a metal plate is bent into a crank shape in cross section, and one piece thereof is used as a connecting plate. The bent one piece 43 on the opposite side is fixed to the inner frame 41 as a fixing piece for the embroidery frame 11, for example. The connecting members 13 and 14 may be attached to the outer frame 42. Reference numeral 44 denotes a guide groove formed in a U-shape (also referred to as a V-shape) provided in the front end portion 13b and the rear end portion 14a of the connecting members 13 and 14, respectively. This is for guiding the positions of the connecting members 13 and 14 in the left-right direction with respect to the holder 9 when the holders 8 and 9 are attached. The guide groove 44 is formed in a shape that gradually becomes narrower from the back end 44a toward the deep part of the guide groove 44 in order to enable smooth guidance. 45 and 46 are engagement holes and fitting holes provided in the connecting members 13 and 14 of the pair of fitting portions, and the engagement convex portions 31a and the fitting convex portions 31 are fitted respectively. Correspondingly formed as possible. These fitting engagement holes 45 and 46 exemplify through holes, but may be bottomed recesses that open on the lower surfaces of the connecting members 13 and 14. These fitting engagement portions 45 and 46 are located at positions corresponding to the fitting engagement convex portions 31 and 31a, that is, when the connecting members 13 and 14 are brought into a predetermined position with respect to the holding members 21 and 22, respectively. It is provided at the position where it overlaps with 31 and 31a. The fitting engagement recesses 45 and 46 corresponding to these are provided on the embroidery object 15 attached to the holder 10 so that the fitting state with the fitting engagement projections 31 and 31a is maintained firmly. It is provided at the front end portions 13b and 14b on the side where the load applied to the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a from the connecting members 13 and 14 increases greatly due to the weight. The engaging recess 45 is arranged between the back side and the front side, and a large shrinkage force is generated in the embroidery object due to an increase in the number of embroidery needles to the embroidery object, and the shrinkage force reduces the width dimension of the inner frame 41. Even if a situation arises, a long hole that is long in the left-right width direction is formed in order to prevent biting with the engaging protrusion 31a due to the reduction. The relationship between the convex portion and the concave portion is relative to the positioning of the pair of fitting portions (31, 45, 46) and the function of transmitting the force in the horizontal direction, and the fitting portions 31, 31a are fitted. On the other hand, the fitting portions 45 and 46 may be formed in the corresponding fitting convex portions while being formed in the mating concave portions. Also, the installation position may be the front side of the presser spring 33 (FIG. 2), but it may be in the middle of the presser portions 36, 38 on the lower side of the presser spring 33. Further, the pair of guide members composed of the guide piece 30 and the guide groove 44 are relative, the connecting member 14 side may be tapered, and the holder 9 side may be formed in a corresponding funnel-shaped recess.
[0013]
A case where the embroidery object 15 is embroidered using the embroidery frame 11 will be described. When embroidery is performed on the embroidery object 15, the embroidery object 15 is mounted on the embroidery frame 11 so that the planned embroidery position of the embroidery object 15 is located in the embroidery space 12. Next, the embroidery frame 11 is loaded into the holders 8 and 9. The operation advances the embroidery frame 11 into the space between the left and right holders 8 and 9 toward the back, and the left and right connecting members 13 and 14 move the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a of the holding members 21 and 22 in the holders 8 and 9, respectively. Insert under the spring 33 along 22a. In this case, the insertion of the connecting member 14 will be described as an example with reference to FIG. The connecting member 13 is inserted in parallel with the connecting member 14. First, as shown in (A), the end portion 14a is advanced in the direction of the arrow 47 and is slid under the presser portion 36 along the receiving surface 22a. The reason why the arrow 47 is inclined is to avoid interference between the connecting member 14 and the fitting convex portion 31. However, since the fitting convex portion 31 is formed with a low height as described above, the inclination may be extremely small enough to clear the fitting convex portion 31, and is inserted in a state substantially along the receiving surface 22a. Can be done. Next, as shown by arrow 48 in (B), the end portion 14a is directed to the gap 27. In this case, since the end portion 14a is pressed downward by the pressing portion 38, the end portion 14a can be directed to the gap 27 without causing the end portion 14a to abut against the levitation prevention body 26. In this case, the guide member 30 is advanced so as to enter the guide groove 44, so that the connecting member 14 is guided to the holder 9 in an appropriate position in the left-right direction. As a result, the fitting recess 46 smoothly moves to a position where it overlaps with the fitting projection 31. In addition, when the right and left positions of the connecting member 14 are appropriate, the left and right positions of the connecting member 13 with respect to the holder 8 are also interlocked with each other. When the connecting member 14 is advanced as described above and the tip of the connecting member 14 comes into contact with the stopper 28, the fitting recess 46 is overlapped with the fitting protrusion 31. Then, as shown in (C), the end 14b of the connecting member 14 is lowered onto the receiving surface 22a, the fitting recess 46 is fitted with the fitting projection 31, and the engagement hole 45 is engaged with the engagement projection 45. Fit with the part 31a. With the above operation, the embroidery frame 11 is attached to the holders 8 and 9 at a predetermined position.
[0014]
Next, as shown in FIG. 7, when the trainer 15 is attached to the embroidery frame 11, it may be noticed that the attached state is opposite to that shown in FIG. In this case, it is not necessary to remove the embroidery object 15 and reattach it as in the prior art. That is, of the two guide grooves 44, 44, the guide groove 44 (one groove 44 of the coupling members 13, 14) having a preferable orientation suitable for the state of the trainer 15 is replaced with one of the holding members 21, 22. The coupling members 13 and 14 may be attached to the holding members 21 and 22 toward the guide piece 30 in the same manner as described above. Then, regardless of which guide groove 44, 44 is directed to the back side, the coupling members 13, 14 with respect to the guide piece 30, the fitting convex portion 31, and the engaging convex portion 31a on the holding members 21, 22 The guide grooves 44, 44 on the side, the fitting holes 46, 46, and one of the engagement holes 45, 45 are arranged so as to fit each other. If they are changed by 180 degrees, they are integrated in the horizontal direction.
[0015]
Next, the operation at the time of embroidery on the embroidery object loaded in the embroidery sewing machine 1 as described above will be described. The drive frame 7 moves in the directions of arrows 7a and 7b in FIG. 1 based on a predetermined program. The movement is transmitted to the embroidery frame 11 through the holding members 21 and 22, the fitting engagement convex portions 31 and 31 a, the fitting engagement concave portions 45 and 46, and the connecting members 13 and 14, and the embroidery object 15 is integrated with the drive frame 7. It moves to. In synchronism with the movement, the needle bar 5 moves up and down, and the embroidery 15 is embroidered by the needle 6. In the above case, since the holding portion 36 of the pressing spring 33 prevents the coupling members 13 and 14 from being lifted, the fitting state between the fitting concave portions 45 and 46 and the fitting convex portions 31 and 31 is maintained extremely firmly. . Therefore, the accuracy of movement of the embroidery object 15 is stably maintained, and the embroidery object 15 is stably embroidered with a predetermined pattern stably. The fitting state between the fitting concave portions 45 and 46 and the fitting convex portions 31 and 31 is also maintained by a load applied to the connecting members 13 and 14 due to the weight of the holder 10 and the weight of the embroidery object 15.
[0016]
Removal of the embroidery frame 11 after completion of embroidery is performed in the reverse procedure to the above. That is, first, the end portion 14b is lifted from the state of FIG. 4C, and the fitting recess 46 and the fitting projection 31 are disengaged. Similarly, with respect to the connecting member 13, the fitting concave portion 45 and the fitting convex portion 31 are disengaged. Next, when the embroidery frame 11 is pulled forward, the connecting members 13 and 14 come out from between the holding members 21 and 22 and the pressing spring 33, and the embroidery frame 11 is detached from the holders 8 and 9.
[0017]
Next, in the case of the above embroidery, when the embroidery object 15 is a garment such as a trainer and embroidery is performed on its chest and back, the fitting engagement concave portions 45 and 46 and the fitting engagement convex portions are also provided for the following reason. The certainty of maintaining the fitting state with 31, 31a is increased. That is, when embroidery is performed in the above place, the embroidery frame 11 is positioned with respect to the embroidery object 15 in the relationship shown in FIG. The center of gravity of the embroidery frame 11 is substantially at the center position of the embroidery frame 11 as indicated by symbol G when the embroidery object is not attached. However, when the embroidery object 15 as described above is mounted, the position of the center of gravity in the mounted state becomes a front side position as compared with the case where the embroidery object 15 is not mounted as indicated by the symbol G ′ due to the weight of the sleeve 15a. For this reason, the load applied from the connecting members 13 and 14 to the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a greatly increases on the end portions 13b and 14b side. Due to the increased load, the end portions 13b and 14b are more difficult to lift from the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a, and the fitting state between the fitting convex portions 31 and 31 and the fitting concave portions 45 and 46 is firmly maintained.
[0018]
Next, the example of FIG. 6 is intended to prevent erroneous damage to the push spring when the embroidery frame is attached to the holder. In the figure, reference numeral 50 denotes a deformation limiting member for preventing excessive deformation of the pressing spring 33e, which is formed of a hard material and is fixedly provided at a position as shown. The deformation limiting member 50 limits the deformation of the portion near the base 34e of the pressing spring 33e by the connecting member when the embroidery frame is attached within the range of its elastic limit. As a result, it is possible to prevent an accident that the pressing spring 33e is permanently deformed and the connecting member cannot be pressed. In addition, the part which is considered functionally the same or equivalent to the thing of the previous figure, and overlaps description is attached | subjected to the code | symbol same as the previous figure, and the overlapping description is abbreviate | omitted.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the present invention, if the holding members 21 and 22 are provided with the holding springs 33 in advance, it is desired to engage the coupling members 13 and 14 of the embroidery frame 11 with the holding members 21 and 22. In this case, the coupling members 13 and 14 are fitted to the receiving surfaces 21a and 22a of the holding members 21 and 22, the guide piece 30, the fitting convex portion 31, the engaging convex portion 31a, the guide groove 44, and the fitting engagement. There is an effect that the whole can be fitted by a simple operation that allows the holes 46 and 45 to be fitted.
Even if the direction of the embroidery object 15 is attached to the embroidery frame 11 in the opposite direction, it is not necessary to reattach the embroidery object 11, and only the orientation of the embroidery frame 11 is changed by 180 degrees by looking at the direction of the embroidery object 15. This operation has the effect that the connecting members 13 and 14 can be quickly and firmly attached to the holding members 21 and 22 as described above.
