本発明は、布帛の幅裁装置に関し、特に、定長裁断(丈裁断)と幅裁断を同時に行う布帛の幅裁装置に関する。

従来、裁断機を用いてカーテン生地等の布帛ロールを所定の長さに切断する場合、図4に示すような裁断機を用いて、測長ローラで測長しながら、引取りローラで生地を送り出す。所定の長さに達すると、送り出しが停止され、引取りローラの下方で、幅方向に走行する走行カッターにより、生地が切断される。

従来の裁断機としては、本出願人が提案して特開平6-106495号公報に開示された「布帛の定長裁断機」がある。これは、カーテン地等の長尺布帛を所定の長さに切断する際、カーテン地を広げるために使用されていた長いテーブルを不要にして、据え付け面積を狭くし、かつ布帛にかかる張力を小さく一定にするものである。この裁断機では、布帛ロールを、送り出しローラで回転して布帛を送り出す。この布帛を、上方のスイングアーム先端の中間送りローラを介して、前側上方の引取りローラで引取る。この引取りローラと中間送りローラとの間の布帛の弛み量と、中間送りローラと送り出しローラとの間の布帛の弛み量を、それぞれ所定範囲に制御する。

ところで、カーテン縫製を行う場合、窓寸法や原反生地幅やヒダ倍数等の諸条件により、原反生地の幅をどうしても半幅等に裁断しなければならない場合がある。その場合、予め定長裁断(丈裁断)を行い、その後に布帛を半幅に折ったり、目印を付けたりして、人がハサミ等で所定の幅に切断している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来の裁断方法では、定長裁断(丈裁断)の後に幅裁ちを行うため、余分な時間を費やす。特に、長尺のカーテン地の幅を半幅等に裁断する場合、広い場所や、かなりの労力を必要としていた。また、人が手作業で行うため、まっすぐに切断するのが難しく、寸法にバラツキを生じることもあった。

本発明は、上記従来の問題を解決して、定長裁断(丈裁断)と幅裁断が同時にでき、布帛を正確に切断できる装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の課題を解決するために、本発明では、カーテン生地等の布帛ロールを解反して所定の長さに切断する丈裁断用カッターを有する裁断機に取り付けて布帛を測長しながら幅裁ちを行うための布帛の幅裁装置であって、布帛の丈方向に対して平行に設けられた回転刃と、前記回転刃を駆動するためのモータと、前記モータの駆動力を前記回転刃に伝える伝動手段と、前記回転刃と前記モータと前記伝動手段とを前記裁断機の測長ローラ及び引取りローラの下流側において、前記丈裁断用カッターの直後に取り付ける取付手段とを具備する構成とした。このように構成したことにより、布帛の定長裁断(丈裁断)と幅裁断が同時にできる。

以下、本発明の実施の形態について、図1〜図3を参照しながら詳細に説明する。

本発明の実施の形態は、布帛の丈方向に対して平行な回転刃を設け、測長しながら布帛の幅裁ちを行う幅裁装置である。

図1は、本発明の実施の形態における幅裁装置を取り付けた裁断機の斜視図である。図1において、裁断機1は、カーテン生地等の布帛ロールを解反して所定の長さに切断する装置である。幅裁装置2は、カーテン生地等の布帛ロールを解反した生地を所定の幅に切断する装置である。引取りローラ3は、布帛ロールからカーテン生地等引き出すためのローラである。回転刃4は、カーテン生地等を丈方向に裁断する刃である。生地5は、カーテン生地等の布帛である。図2は、裁断機から生地を除いた状態を示す図である。図3は、幅裁装置の斜視図である。図3において、取付金具6は、幅裁装置を裁断機のレールに取り付ける部材である。

上記のように構成された本発明の実施の形態における幅裁装置の動作を説明する。図1に示す裁断機1の引取りローラ3の下方に、送り出される生地5の丈方向に対して平行な回転刃4を有する幅裁装置2を設ける。生地の無い状態では、図2に示すようになる。この幅裁装置2を取り付ける裁断機1は、例えば、特開平6−106495号公報に開示されている「布帛の定長裁断機」である。幅裁装置2は、図3に示すように、モータにより回転する回転刃4で生地を丈方向に直線状に裁断するものであり、取付金具6で、裁断機1に生地の幅方向に設けられたレール(図示なし)の所望の位置に取り付けるようになっている。この幅裁装置2は、裁断機1に簡単に脱着でき、幅裁断の必要が無い場合は、取り外して置くことができる。幅裁装置2は、生地幅に対して任意の位置に取り付けることができるため、幅裁寸法を好みの任意寸法に設定できる。スライド機構や旋回機構等を利用することにより、生地から離れた位置に退避させて、機能しないようにしておくこともできる。

裁断機1において、測長しながら引取りローラ3で送り出された生地5は、そのまま、回転刃4により、取付位置に応じた幅に裁断されて行く。この際、生地5は、自然な状態(外部からの張力が極めて低い、自重のみの状態)であるため、生地5が伸長されることなく、まっすぐ、かつ正確に切断することができる。幅裁装置2は、生地を所定の丈で切断する丈裁断用走行カッター(図示なし)の直後に設けられている。そのため、丈裁断用走行カッターと幅裁断用の回転刃4の取付位置の相互関係により、生地端に切れ残りが発生することもあるが、わずかな長さ(5cm程度)であるので、人が手で生地を保持しながら、下方へ送り出し、切断することができる。また、半幅に切断する場合には、左右の生地の重さが同じであるので、そのまま、自重による落下で切断することもできる。

上記のように、本発明の実施の形態では、幅裁装置を、布帛の丈方向に対して平行な回転刃を設け、測長しながら布帛の幅裁ちを行う構成としたので、正確に幅裁ちができる。

【発明の効果】
以上の説明から明らかなように、本発明では、カーテン生地等の布帛ロールを解反して所定の長さに切断する裁断機に取り付けて布帛を測長しながら幅裁ちを行うための布帛の幅裁装置に、布帛の丈方向に対して平行に設けられた回転刃と、回転刃を駆動するためのモータと、モータの駆動力を回転刃に伝える伝動手段と、回転刃とモータと伝動手段とを裁断機の測長ローラ及び引取りローラの下流側の下方に取り付ける取付手段とを備えた構成としたので、定長裁断(丈裁断)と幅裁断が同時に正確にでき、スペースと時間と労力を節減できるという効果が得られる。
