【発明が解決しようとする課題】
以上のような構成のプレスブレーキ等において、ワークWの板厚が同一の場合、曲げ加工に要する上部テーブル1曲げ駆動用の押圧力は、ワークWの曲げ加工長さに比例するため、その曲げ加工長さが長くなると、その押圧力も比例して大きくなり、各上部/下部テーブル1/2の変形(撓み)力も大きくなるため、これらの部材を上記荷重トン数に耐える剛性を有する強力なものとする必要があり、その分装置及び各関連部材も大形化すると共に、コスト増も強いられていた。
以上の問題点を解決する一方法として、図4にその概念図を示すようないわゆる断続的な“送り曲げ”方式加工法がある。

この方法は、例えばワークWの曲げ長さlが仮に4mである場合、曲げ長さ容量が1mの金型を有するプレスブレーキを、図4に示すようにワークWを断続的に4回その曲げ線方向に送って加工長を1m×4=4mとする方法により、加工装置の大形化、高コスト化を防止しようとするものである。

しかしながら、この方法には、当然乍らその各加工回数毎の連続部の加工品質や、不連続性を防止するための加工工程上の諸問題を伴い、十分の成果を挙げることは困難であった。

本発明は、以上のような局面にかんがみてなされたもので、“局部的加工の連続的送り曲げ”方式を採用することにより、前記断続的送り曲げ方式の諸問題点を解消して、曲げ長さが長い場合でも曲げ装置の大形化、高コスト化を防止することのできる手段の提供を目的としている。

このため、本発明においては、相対する一対の金型のそれぞれ一方を取付けた上部および下部各テーブルを、一平面内に相対的に移動押圧することにより、前記両金型間の板材の曲げ加工を行う曲げ加工装置において、前記金型の一方を、回転ローラ形式に形成して、他方の直線状金型上をその長さ方向に沿って転動往復移動可能に構成すると共に、前記直線状金型上において、前記ローラ形式金型の転動移動中を含む各位置でのローラの中心軸を支点として、前記ローラ形式金型を軸支するテーブルを前記移動平面内に所定角度傾斜状態で押圧可能に構成したことを特徴とする送り曲げ式板材曲げ加工装置を提供することにより、前記目的を達成しようとするものである。
