Description
【0001】

【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the present invention, the paper break detector that detects the presence or absence of a sheet contacts the sheet with the tip of a swingable detection piece biased in a direction of pressing the sheet toward the sheet guide by a spring. Because of the contact type that detects the presence or absence of a sheet, even if the sheet is highly transparent, it is possible to reliably detect the sheet breakage of the sheet.
[0031]
In addition, since the swing center of the detection piece of the paper breakage detector is inclined in the sheet transfer direction on a plane parallel to the sheet guide surface of the sheet guide, a new sheet is passed through the sheet guide surface of the sheet guide. In this case, the inclined edge is pushed by the sheet and the detection piece swings, and the paper threading operation can be performed smoothly. In addition, since the swing center of the detection piece is inclined with respect to the sheet transport direction, when passing a new sheet, the sheet is perpendicular to the sheet transport direction or from the same direction as the sheet transport direction. Can be inserted, and operability can be improved.
