【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記ガステーブルでは、鍋、フライパンなどの調理器具が五徳をはみ出して置かれることがしばしばあり、それら調理器具が五徳後方のグリル部排気口を塞ぐように置かれた状態においてグリル部が使用されると、排気不充分となり、トッププレート、そして、このトッププレートの四周フランジ部が載置されるキッチンキャビネット上面部のカウンターが異常に温度上昇する。近年、カウンターは、いわゆる人工大理石、若しくはこの範疇に属さなくとも樹脂製のものが主流となりつつあり、このような樹脂製カウンターでは、上記の異常な温度上昇により割れ、変形などが発生しやすかった。

この出願の発明は、以上の通りの事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、グリル部排気口が鍋、フライパンなどの調理器具により塞がれることのないガステーブルを提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この出願の発明は、上記の課題を解決するものとして、バーナー部を上部に備え、グリル部をガステーブル本体に前後方向に出し入れ可能に内蔵するとともに、ガステーブル本体の上端部に配設されるトッププレートにおいて、バーナー部に五徳が装着され、その後方にグリル部排気口が形成されたガステーブルであり、グリル部排気口の上方における五徳とほぼ同じ高さ若しくはそれ以上の高さにガード部を備え、ガード部は、ガステーブルが設置されるキッチンキャビネットの上面部を形成するカウンターの後端に立設されるバックガードにおいて、グリル部排気口に対応する位置に装着される断面Ｌ字形のカバー体と、このカバー体の垂下部より前方に突設され、所定高さにおいてグリル部排気口の横幅方向にのびるように配置されるコ字形のフレーム体とからなることを特徴とするガステーブル（請求項１）を提供する。
