Description

【0001】

[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to a repair method that can easily repair, for example, a coating defect that has occurred on the painted surface of an automobile body.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, for example, as shown in FIG. 6, painting on an automobile body is usually performed by applying a base coating 51, an intermediate coating 52, and a top coating 53 to the body W, and finally performing a clear coating 54.
[0003]
At this time, when a dust defect or a defective defect occurs between the top coat 53 and the clear coat 54, after removing the cause of the defect by polishing the periphery of the defective portion with paper or the like, as shown in FIG. A masking tape 55 is stuck around the repair recess p.
[0004]
Next, as shown in FIG. 8, after the top coat 53a is applied from above by the spray gun 56a, the clear paint 54a is applied by the spray gun 56b as shown in FIG. dry.
[0005]
Finally, the repair portion was polished to complete the repair.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional method as described above has a problem that it takes time and labor to attach and peel off the masking tape 55 and the cost of the masking tape increases.
In addition, there is a problem that even if the defective portion has a small area, the repair surface covers a wide area and the polishing work is troublesome.
[0007]
For this reason, the repair method which can reduce an operation man-hour and is not expensive has been desired.
[0009]
In order to solve such a problem, the present invention provides a repair method for repairing a defective coating portion generated between top coating and clear coating by polishing a portion of the clear coating and top coating around the defective coating portion. After removing the cause of the defect, a base member made of a magnet sheet is magnetically attached onto the painted surface, and the repair opening provided in the base member is aligned with the center of the polishing portion, and the first opening is placed on the base member. The masking member is positioned and any one of the plurality of small-diameter slit holes provided in the first masking member is aligned with the center of the polishing portion, and a magnet sheet is formed on the first masking member. The second masking member is magnetically attached and the large-diameter slit hole provided in the second masking member is aligned with the center of the polishing portion, and initially, the coating is applied through the small-diameter slit hole. After coating was spray application extracts the first masking member, and then the clear paint through large slit so as to spray application.
[0010]
[Action]
After removing the cause of the defect by polishing the periphery of the poorly painted area, spray the top coat through the narrow slit hole close to the polished area and spray the minimum necessary paint without spraying excess paint. Can be applied. If the small-diameter slit hole is changed in accordance with the area of the defective coating portion, the coating amount can be made more appropriate.
[0011]
Similarly, the clear paint to be applied from above can also be applied by spraying through a large-diameter slit hole close to the repair site, so that an appropriate amount of clear paint can be applied, for example, in the polishing process in the subsequent steps. Reduction can be achieved.
[0012]
Also, if the base member and the second masking member are made of a magnet sheet and the first masking member is sandwiched between the base member magnetically attached to the vehicle body and the second masking member magnetically attached to the base member, Compared to conventional masking tape, masking treatment can be performed very easily.
Moreover, it is inexpensive because it can be used over and over again compared to masking tape.
[0013]
【Example】
An embodiment of a method for repairing a painted surface according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 is a plan view of the base member, the first masking member, and the second masking member, and FIGS. 2 to 5 are process diagrams of the repair method.
[0014]
The method for repairing a painted surface according to the present invention is applied as a repair method when a coating defect having a diameter of 2 mm or less occurs in painting a car body of an automobile, and uses three repair jigs as shown in FIG. ing.
[0015]
That is, this repair jig is made of a base plate 1 made of a magnet sheet of about 100 mm × 100 mm × 1 mm as a base member and a clear sheet of about 270 mm × 270 mm × 0.2 mm as a first masking member in the embodiment. The first masking plate 2 and the second masking plate 3 made of a magnet sheet of about 100 mm × 100 mm × 1 mm as the second masking member, and each plate 1, 2, 3 has an opening or a hole, respectively. Is provided.
[0016]
That is, a repair opening 1a having a diameter of about 60 mm is provided in the central portion of the base plate 1, and a plurality of small-diameter slit holes h having different diameters are provided at intervals of 60 mm or more in the first masking plate 2. In addition, a large-diameter slit hole 3 a having a diameter of about 50 mm is provided at the center of the second masking plate 3.
[0017]
And the said small diameter slit hole h ... is diameter 0.5mm, 0.7mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.4mm, 1.6mm, 1.8mm, 2.0mm, for example. A total of nine.
[0018]
Next, a repair method using such a repair jig will be described.
[0019]
As shown in FIG. 2, when the undercoat 4, the intermediate coat 5, the top coat 6, and the clear coat 7 are applied to the surface of the body W, a defective coating portion d having a diameter of 2 mm or less occurs on the surface of the top coat 6. First, a portion of the clear coating 7 and the top coating 6 including the defective coating portion d are ground with paper of about # 1500 to 2000 to remove the cause of the defective coating.
[0020]
For this reason, as shown in FIG. 3, a repair recess p that increases or decreases in accordance with the diameter of the defective coating is formed in the defective coating portion d.
Incidentally, the diameter of the repair recess p is about 30 mm, and becomes slightly larger if the poor coating area is larger, and slightly smaller if smaller.
[0021]
Next, the center of the repair opening 1a of the base plate 1 made of magnet sheet is magnetically attached to the center of the repair recess p, and the center of the small slit hole h of the first masking plate 2 is repaired from above. Overlapping while matching the center of p.
[0022]
At this time, a narrow slit hole h having a diameter substantially the same as the diameter of the defective coating portion d is selected, but the first masking plate 2 is transparent despite the small diameter of the small slit hole h. Therefore, it is easy to align the center of the repair recess p.
[0023]
Further, when the center of the large-diameter slit hole 3a of the second masking plate 3 made of magnet sheet is magnetically attached to the center of the repair recess p from above, the three plates 1, 2, and 3 become the body. Positioned and fixed with respect to W.
[0024]
In such a state, as shown in FIG. 4, the top coating material is sprayed by the spray gun 8 a through the small-diameter slit hole h of the first masking plate 2.
Then, the top coating material that has diffused through the small-diameter slit hole h is uniformly applied to the limited portion e in the repair recess p and its periphery to form the top coating film 6a.
[0025]
Then, as shown in the example, the narrow slit hole h, which is substantially equal to the diameter of the poorly painted portion d, was brought to a position separated from the coating surface by about 1 mm (thickness of the base plate 1), and passed through the narrow slit hole h. If the paint is diffused, the passing paint spreads and diffuses from the repair recess p having a diameter of about 30 mm, the thickness of the coating film 6a with respect to the surrounding limited portion e is flattened, and the useless coating thickness is not obtained. It was proved.
[0026]
Incidentally, the role of the second masking plate 3 during the overcoating is for positioning and fixing the first masking plate 2.
[0027]
Next, the first masking plate 2 is removed, and a clear paint is sprayed through the large-diameter slit hole 3a of the second masking plate 3 by the spray gun 8b as shown in FIG.
[0028]
Then, the clear paint that has passed through the large-diameter slit hole 3a diffuses and spreads at the periphery, and a clear paint film 7a that uniformly covers the top coat 6a is formed.
[0029]
In this case as well, the large-diameter slit hole 3a faces a position about 1 mm away from the coating surface (the thickness of the base plate 1), and the peripheral edge portion of the clear coating film 7a diffused through the large-diameter slit hole 3a is also present. It was confirmed that it was flattened uniformly.
[0030]
When the top coating film 6a and the clear coating film 7a are thus applied, the base plate 1 and the second masking plate 3 are removed from the body W, the repair coating portion is locally forcibly dried, and after drying, polishing is performed. Finish smoothly.
[0031]
At this time, since the useless paint is not applied, the polishing work is easy, and the number of processes can be reduced because the masking tape is not attached and peeled off as in the conventional case.
[0032]
【The invention's effect】
After removing the cause of the defect by polishing the surface of the coating around the poorly painted area, a small slit hole is brought close to the polished area, and the top coat is sprayed through the small slit hole. Since the large-diameter slit hole is placed close to and the clear paint is sprayed through the large-diameter slit hole, an appropriate amount of paint can be efficiently applied to both the top coat and clear paint. Work can be reduced. In addition, the paint can be reduced.
Further, if the small-diameter slit hole is changed in accordance with the area of the defective portion, the coating amount can be adjusted more appropriately.
In addition, if the base member and the second masking member are made of a magnetic sheet, and the first masking member is sandwiched between the base member and the second masking member and then magnetically attached, it is attached like a conventional masking tape. The stripping process can be reduced and the masking operation is easy.
In addition, it is inexpensive because it can be used over and over again compared to masking tape.
