Description
【0001】
【0107】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an image distribution technique for distributing an image to a terminal connected via a network line such as the Internet. More specifically, the present invention relates to an image distribution technique stored on a server side using a low-resolution image displayed on a display. The present invention relates to an image processing technique for partially reading a high-resolution image.
[0002]
[Prior art]
With the spread of the Internet, anyone can easily obtain information such as various images and videos. In particular, with the recent widespread use of xDSL lines and the like, high-speed connection is possible, and what was conventionally distributed on a physical medium such as a CD-ROM is being distributed on a digital medium.
[0003]
By the way, as one of the recent business scenes, there are many cases where information (for example, sentences and images) posted on the Internet is written and expressed as it is in a plan book or a proposal. This eliminates the need for so-called cutting and pasting operations such as copying a conventional sentence or reading an image with a scanner, and makes it possible to easily create a sentence with expressive power on one computer.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in general, images distributed on the Internet are displayed with relatively low resolution in order to display them at high speed on browser software. For this reason, even if a detailed image is displayed on the display, when the actually downloaded image is pasted on a proposal or the like and printed, it is often a rough image.
[0005]
As one method for solving the above problem, there is a method of taking a display screen of the display as an image, that is, a method using a so-called screen shot. However, when this method is used, since the entire screen is stored as an image, it is necessary to cut out a necessary portion using dedicated image processing software, which is troublesome. In the first place, since the actual image data does not have a high resolution, it is impossible to obtain a more detailed image.
[0006]
Also, it is not preferable to distribute a high-resolution image as it is on the Internet from the viewpoint of the limitation of the display area of the browser software and the use of copyright. On the other hand, there is also a method of delivering in a PDF (Portable Document Format) format as one of high-quality image delivery methods. However, this method has a problem in image listing and collection of necessary parts.
[0007]
Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and its purpose is to deliver a high-resolution clipped image using a low-resolution image for high-speed display displayed on a browser, The purpose is to provide a technology for managing the usage rights.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above-described object, the present invention has several features described below.
As a first invention, in an image distribution system that includes a server and a user terminal, which are connected via a network line such as the Internet, and distributes a predetermined image from the server side to the user terminal, the server includes: A low-resolution image file that stores a predetermined image as a low-resolution image for high-speed display, and a high-resolution image file that stores the same image as the high-resolution image for fine display. The user terminal includes a clipping region designating unit that designates a part of an image as a clipping region on the browser, and the server transmits a request for image transmission from the user terminal to the server. A second step of reading out a low resolution image of the image requested to be transmitted and transmitting it to the user terminal for display. On the user terminal side, a third step of designating a desired clipping region from the low-resolution image by the clipping region designating means and transmitting the region designation signal to the server, and the server, And a fourth step of reading out the high resolution image in the area designated by the area designation signal from the high resolution image file, and transmitting and reading it to the user terminal.
[0009]
According to this, the clipping operation is performed using the low resolution image displayed on the browser on the user terminal side, and only the high resolution clipping image corresponding to the clipping region is distributed from the high resolution image accumulated on the server side. Thus, not only the conventional image clipping process by the user terminal is unnecessary, but also the load on the server is reduced.
[0010]
As a second invention, there is provided an image distribution system including a server, a user terminal and a service provider terminal, which are connected via a network line such as the Internet and distribute a predetermined image from the server side to the user terminal. The user terminal includes a clipping area designating unit that designates a part of the image as a clipping area on the browser, and the service provider terminal writes a specific notification item in the part of the image on the browser to copy a copy guard image. The server includes a low-resolution image file that stores a predetermined image as a low-resolution image for high-speed display, and stores the same image as the high-resolution image for fine display. High-resolution image file and copy guard image set by the above service provider terminal A copy guard image file, an image clipping engine that creates a high-resolution clipped image from the high-resolution image file according to the clipping region specified by the user terminal, and a copy guard request from the service provider terminal And a copy guard engine that pastes the copy guard image on the cutout image of the high resolution image, and the server transmits a low resolution image in response to an image transmission request from the user terminal, and transmits the image to the user terminal. When a clipping region is designated from the low-resolution image, the image clipping engine creates a clipping image of the high-resolution image and transmits it to the user terminal. At this time, the copy guard engine transmits If a copy guard is set for the high-resolution clipped image, the high-resolution clipped image By delivering to the user terminal paste the serial copy protection image, it can be superimposed copy protection image in an arbitrary area of the image distribution images.
[0011]
Here, the user terminal and the administrator terminal of the present invention are computers connected to a network line such as the Internet, and images distributed to each terminal are distributed in a format (for example, HTML) that can be browsed by Internet browser software. Processing such as area designation and copy guard designation can also be performed on the same browser.
[0012]
In the present invention, “file” refers to a storage unit for storing various data used by the image processing of the present invention, and “engine” refers to a specific calculation process using the various data. An execution unit executed along processing steps.
[0013]
The copy guard engine includes a user information file that stores various user information including a service provider, and a user authentication engine that performs user authentication of the terminal based on the user information file. The copy guard request is accepted only when authenticated as a provider user. According to this, the service provider can selectively select and apply the necessary copy guard image.
[0014]
Further, the image processing apparatus includes a cut image file for storing the cut image and a log file for storing the creation history of the cut image, and the user authentication engine is described in the creation history by a user accessing from the user terminal. If it is determined that the user name is the same as the created user name, the clipped image file storing the clipped image corresponding to the creation history can be accessed, and the clipped image can be selectively distributed. According to this, it is possible to recall and distribute a clipped image that has been clipped before.
[0015]
When the user is a child user and there is a parent user that is an upper layer of the child user, the user authentication engine displays the clipped image owned by the child user when authenticating with the parent user. By enabling the distribution, for example, if a common account is used in the group, the cut image can be shared within the group, which helps to reduce the duplication work and reduce the load on the server.
[0016]
As a third invention, an image distribution program capable of constructing the above-described image distribution system is included. That is, in an image distribution program that includes a server, a user terminal, and a service provider terminal, which are connected via a network line such as the Internet, and distribute a predetermined image from the server side to the user terminal, A low-resolution image step of distributing the low-resolution image to the terminal in response to a request from the terminal, and storing the same image as the low-resolution image as a high-resolution image for fine display A high-resolution image step, a copy-guard image step for storing a copy-guard image in which specific notification items are written, a cut-out request for cutting out a predetermined cut-out area of the low-resolution image from the user terminal, and the cut-out request Cut out the cropped area from the high-resolution image according to the An image clipping step for generating a copy guard request for designating a predetermined copy guard area for the low resolution image from the service provider terminal, and the copy guard area for the high resolution image based on the copy guard request. A copy guard step for pasting a copy guard image, wherein the copy guard step specifies that the copy guard area is specified in the original image of the clipped image when a distribution request for the clipped image is received from the user terminal. A distribution step of inquiring whether the copy guard area is included in the display area of the clipped image and pasting the copy guard image to the clipped image and distributing to the user terminal. It is characterized by having.
[0017]
The present invention also includes a recording medium for storing the above-described image distribution program. That is, as a recording medium, in addition to various memories such as a semiconductor memory, a magnetic disk such as an optical disk such as a CD-ROM, a magneto-optical disk, and a DVD standard disk, a storage device (for example, a hard disk) stored in a computer. In addition to this, a program recording program is included. Further, the image distribution program may be distributed through a network line such as the Internet, and the recording medium includes a recording medium of a terminal to which the program is distributed.
[0018]

The image distribution system of the present invention is set up by installing an image distribution program sufficient to execute the above-described embodiment in a computer recording apparatus, and is activated by executing the program on the computer. The image distribution system (image distribution program) of the present invention may be sold to a customer in a state of being stored in a recording device of a computer including at least an input / output device, an arithmetic device, a display device, and a recording device. It may be in a state of being stored in a recording medium (for example, CR-ROM or the like) that can be read by an input / output device of a computer. Furthermore, the image distribution program may be stored on a WWW server connected to a network such as the Internet and distributed to customers via the network.
[0107]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the first invention includes a server and a user terminal, which are connected via a network line such as the Internet, and a predetermined image is transmitted from the server side to the user terminal. In the image distribution system for distributing images, the server stores a low-resolution image file that stores a predetermined image as a low-resolution image for high-speed display, and a high-resolution image that stores the same image as the high-resolution image for display. A resolution image file, and the user terminal includes a clipping region designating unit that designates a part of an image as a clipping region on a browser, and a first step of making an image transmission request from the user terminal to the server; The server reads the low-resolution image of the image requested to be transmitted from the low-resolution image file, and In the second step of transmitting to the terminal for display, and on the user terminal side, the desired clipping region is designated from the low resolution image by the clipping region designating means, and the region designation signal is transmitted to the server. And a fourth step in which the server reads a high-resolution image in the area designated by the area designation signal from the high-resolution image file, and transmits the high-resolution image to the user terminal for display. Therefore, clipping is performed using the low-resolution image displayed on the browser on the user terminal side, and only the high-resolution clipping image corresponding to the clipping region is distributed from the high-resolution image stored on the server side. Thus, not only the conventional image clipping process by the user terminal is unnecessary, but also the load on the server is reduced.
[0108]
In addition, as a second invention, image distribution includes a server, a user terminal, and a service provider terminal, which are connected via a network line such as the Internet, and distribute a predetermined image from the server side to the user terminal. In the system, the user terminal includes a clipping region designation unit that designates a portion of the image as a clipping region on the browser, and the service provider terminal writes a specific notification item on the portion of the image on the browser to copy guard A copy guard image setting means for making an image, wherein the server stores a low-resolution image file storing a predetermined image as a low-resolution image for high-speed display, and an image identical to the image as a high-resolution image for fine display The high resolution image file to be stored and the copy guard image set by the service provider terminal A copy guard image file to be stored, an image cutout engine for creating a cutout image of a high resolution image from the high resolution image file in accordance with a cutout region designated by the user terminal, and a copy guard from the service provider terminal A copy guard engine that pastes the copy guard image on the cut-out image of the high resolution image based on the request, wherein the server transmits the low resolution image in response to an image transmission request from the user terminal, and the user terminal When a clipping region is specified from the low-resolution image, the image clipping engine creates the high-resolution image clipping image and transmits it to the user terminal. If copy guard is set for the high-resolution cutout image to be sent, the high-resolution cutout image By attaching the copy guard image to the user terminal and distributing it to the user terminal, the copy guard image can be superimposed on an arbitrary area of the image distributed image, and the copyright belonging to the image can be protected. it can.
