Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention mainly relates to a circle cutter that is mounted on office equipment such as a printer, that is, a cutter that cuts a sheet with a fixed blade having a straight edge and a disk-shaped moving blade that rotates and moves along the edge of the fixed blade. About.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A circle cutter has a fixed blade with a straight edge, a disk-shaped moving blade that moves while sliding on the cutting edge of the fixed blade, and a moving blade holder that covers the top of the moving blade and on which the rotating shaft of the moving blade is pivotally attached. The fixed blade and the movable blade cooperate to cut the sheet supplied along the fixed blade, and are known as shown in JP-A-6-198590, JP-A-7-124892, and the like. .
[0003]
In addition, devices such as a printer to which a circle cutter is attached may use sheets with glue such as label paper. When a sheet with glue is cut with a circle cutter, the glue sticks to the moving blade, resulting in poor sharpness and dirty cutting of the sheet, or the moving blade bites and stops. Sometimes. In Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2003-19693, in order to prevent such problems, sponges impregnated with a paste remover such as silicone oil are provided in the movable blade holder or on the back of the fixed blade, and the adhesive adheres to the movable blade. Techniques for preventing are disclosed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The conventional technique in which the sponges impregnated with a paste remover such as silicon oil are provided in the movable blade holder or on the back surface of the fixed blade prevents the glue from adhering to the movable blade, and the adhered glue is sponges. However, since the sponges become soiled with glue as they are used, it has to be periodically replaced, and maintenance is complicated.
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to develop a circle cutter that minimizes adhesion of glue to a moving blade and is easy to maintain.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention includes a fixed blade having a straight edge, a disk-shaped moving blade that rotates and moves along the edge of the fixed blade, and a moving blade holder that covers the upper portion of the moving blade and on which the rotating shaft of the moving blade is axially attached. In a circle cutter that has a fixed blade and a movable blade in cooperation with each other to cut a sheet, a spatula member that scrapes off the glue adhered to the rotating shaft is provided next to the movable blade on the fixed blade side. It is a circle cutter.
[0007]
When a sheet with glue is cut with a circle cutter, the glue adheres to the surface of the movable blade on the fixed blade side. As the cutting is repeated, the amount of glue gradually increases and accumulates around the rotating shaft of the movable blade. In the present invention, since the spatula member that scrapes off the glue adhering to the rotating shaft is provided next to the fixed blade side of the moving blade, the glue adhering to the moving blade does not accumulate around the rotating shaft. Is always minimal.
[0008]
As for the part which provided the spatula member of the rotating shaft, it is desirable to insert an adjustment ring and to make diameter thick to suitable thickness. By increasing the diameter, the spatula member can be easily installed and the glue can be easily scraped off. The thickness of the diameter may be appropriately designed in relation to the spatula member.
[0009]
When the moving blade is provided with a rotational force by a rolling wheel that rolls on the fixed blade, the spatula member is provided between the moving blade and the rolling wheel.
[0010]
If the portion of the spatula member that scrapes off the glue is bifurcated, the spatula member can scrape the glue regardless of whether the rotating shaft rotates forward or backward.
[0011]
When the base end of the spatula member is exposed to the outside of the movable blade holder, the glue scraped off by the spatula member moves from the distal end side to the proximal end side along the spatula member and is pushed out of the movable blade holder. Since the glue pushed out of the holder can be removed periodically, the maintenance is very simple.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings showing examples. 1 is a schematic side view of a circle cutter 1 of the embodiment, FIG. 2 is an AA cross-sectional explanatory view of the circle cutter 1, FIG. 3 is a BB cross-sectional explanatory view of the circle cutter 1, and FIG. FIG.
[0013]
The circle cutter 1 shown in the figure has a fixed blade 2 having a straight edge, a disk-shaped moving blade 3 that rotates and moves while sliding on the cutting edge of the fixed blade 2, and a rotating shaft of the moving blade 3 that covers the upper portion of the moving blade 3. 9 has a movable blade holder 4 on which shaft 9 is mounted. The upper surface of the substantially U-shaped frame 5 is a fixed blade 2, and a rail 6 is erected at the tip of the lower surface of the frame 7. The frame 5 (including the fixed blade 2 and the rail 6) is integrally formed of metal. A movable table 7 is provided across the rail 6, and a protruding portion 8 is formed outwardly on the movable table 7, and the movable blade holder 4 is continuously provided on the protruding portion 8. The movable table 7, the overhang portion 8, and the movable blade holder 4 are integrally formed of plastic. As shown in FIG. 2, the movable blade holder 4 is formed so as to cover the upper portion of the movable blade 3, and the rotary shaft 9 of the movable blade 3 is rotatably attached to the movable blade holder 4.
[0014]
The moving table 7 moves along the rail 6 by a driving mechanism (not shown), so that the moving blade 3 moves in the direction of arrow C in FIG. 3 cooperate to cut the sheet s on the fixed blade. The sheet s is supplied in the direction of arrow D in FIG. When the movable table 7 moves along the rail 6, the rolling wheel 11 attached to the rotating shaft 9 rolls on the fixed blade 2, the rotating shaft 9 and the moving blade 3 rotate, and the cutting is performed smoothly. The rolling wheel 11 is fitted with an O-ring on the outer periphery in order to increase friction. The structure of such a circle cutter is well known.
[0015]
A plastic adjustment ring 12 is fitted around the rotary shaft 9 between the movable blade 3 and the rolling wheel 11 to adjust the diameter of the rotary shaft to be large. A spatula member 10 is provided in the vicinity of the movable blade 3 adjacent to the fixed blade 2 side (between the movable blade 3 and the rolling wheel 11) to scrape off the glue adhering to the adjustment ring 12.
[0016]
FIG. 4 is a plan view of the spatula member 10, and shows a front view, a side view, and a rear view in order from the left side of the lower stage. The spatula member 10 has side plates 15 formed at the left and right end portions on the front side of the substrate 13, has a substantially U-shaped cross section, and a spatula portion 14 is formed on the front side of the lower end to scrape off the glue. , Projections 17 are formed on the back surface, and these are integrally formed of plastic. The spatula portion 14 has a bifurcated tip (lower end), and has a trifurcated shape as a whole. Between the lower end of the side plate 15 and the spatula portion 14 is an introduction port 16 through which the scraped glue enters the spatula member 10. As shown in FIG. 2, the spatula member 10 is attached to the movable blade holder by fitting the protrusion 17 into a hole formed in the movable blade holder 4. The base end (upper end) of the spatula member 10 protrudes outside from a hole 18 formed in the movable blade holder.
[0017]
As shown in FIG. 3, when the moving table 7 travels in the left direction at the time of cutting, the rotating shaft 9 (including the adjustment ring 12) rotates counterclockwise (forward rotation) in FIG. As shown in E, the glue around the adjustment ring 12 is scraped off by the right side portion of the forked spatula portion 14 and the glue enters the spatula member from the right inlet 16. When the moving platform 7 travels in the right direction at the time of return, the rotating shaft 9 (including the adjustment ring 12) rotates clockwise (reversely) in FIG. The glue around the adjustment ring 12 is scraped off by the left part of the spatula part 14, and the glue enters the spatula member 10 from the left inlet 16. The glue that has entered the spatula member 10 is gradually pushed up along the spatula member, and finally pushed out from the base end (upper end) to the outside of the movable blade holder.
[0018]
The shape of the spatula member is merely an example, and is not limited to this. In short, it may be any shape as long as the glue around the rotating shaft is scraped off and the glue is pushed up along the spatula member. Further, the spatula member and the movable blade holder are not necessarily formed in one piece, and may be configured to assemble a plurality of pieces. Further, the spatula member does not necessarily have to be attached vertically, and the attachment angle is arbitrary, and for example, it may be attached horizontally.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
Since the circle cutter of the present invention can remove the glue excessively attached to the moving blade by the action of the spatula member, the glue adhering to the moving blade is always minimized, the sharpness is deteriorated and the cut portion is dirty. It is possible to prevent the trouble that the moving blade bites and stops. Further, since the glue removed by the spatula member can be easily removed, the maintenance is very simple.
