Description

【0001】

Reel rotation stopping means for restricting the rotation of the reel is provided so as not to be released.
[0003]
The reel rotation restraining means includes a restraining member that engages with a part of the reel and restrains its rotation, and when the cartridge is loaded in a drive such as an external storage device, the restraining member is driven to the drive side rotation driving means. The stop state is provided in accordance with the reel chucking operation.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Accordingly, in order to improve the reliability of the operation of the reel rotation restraining means described above and to prevent dust from entering the cartridge case, the reel rotation restraining means is provided with a restraining member that restrains the rotation of the reel, and this restraining member. It is conceivable to provide a structure that is separated into an urging member that urges in the restraining direction and a release member that moves in accordance with the chucking operation of the drive side rotational drive means and moves the restraining member in the releasing direction.
[0005]
In other words, in a non-use state, the restraining member restrains the reel from inadvertently rotating so that the magnetic tape is not pulled out. When chucking is performed, the release member moves in conjunction with the operation, and the stop member is released. In this state, the reel can rotate, and the magnetic tape can be pulled out and taken up.
[0006]
In the mechanism as described above, the separation structure has a problem that the assembly becomes complicated, the number of processes increases, and the workability decreases. In particular, a push-up portion formed in a part of the release member is provided so that a tip abuts a part of the drive-side rotation driving means through an insertion hole provided in the reel, and the chucking operation of the drive-side rotation drive means is performed as described above. It is advantageous for simplification of the structure that the release gear is provided by pressing the push-up portion of the release member with the drive gear. However, when such a structure is adopted, the release member and the reel are Assembling becomes more complicated as the push-up portion is inserted into the insertion hole.

An urging member for urging, and a release member that rotates integrally with the reel and moves in accordance with a chucking operation of the drive side rotation drive means to move the stop member in a release direction. The push-up portion formed in part is provided so that the tip can be brought into contact with a part of the drive side rotation driving means through the insertion hole provided in the reel, and the push-up portion is inserted into the insertion hole. When, it is characterized in that a guide member for guiding said release member in the insertion direction into the reel.
[0009]
Further, if the reel is provided with a reel gear that meshes with the drive gear of the drive side rotational drive means, and the tip of the push-up portion of the release member is provided so as to be able to contact the drive gear through the insertion hole provided in the reel gear, It is preferable to provide a guide member with a guide rib extending in the insertion direction of the push-up portion on the inner wall of the reel in the vicinity of the hole.
[0010]
It is preferable that the height of the guide member is higher than the length of the push-up portion, has a positioning function when the push-up portion is inserted into the insertion hole, and is provided so that the release member is guided and moved in the insertion direction.
[0011]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention as described above, the guide member for guiding the release member in the insertion direction of the push-up portion is provided on the reel when the push-up portion of the release member of the reel rotation restraining means is inserted into the insertion hole of the reel. As a result, it is possible to easily assemble the reel and the release member by positioning the push-up portion when inserting the push-up portion of the release member into the insertion hole of the reel and moving the guide in the insertion direction. The magnetic tape cartridge can be assembled efficiently.
[0012]
In particular, a guide rib extending in the insertion direction of the push-up portion is formed on the inner wall of the reel in the vicinity of the insertion hole through a part of the release member through an insertion hole opened in the reel gear provided in the reel. When the guide member is provided, the guide member can be formed without interfering with other parts such as the restraining member, and the release member can be guided in the vicinity of the insertion hole at the time of assembly.
[0013]

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail based on embodiments shown in the drawings. FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of the magnetic tape cartridge in this embodiment when not in use, FIG. 2 is an exploded perspective view of the main part, and FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the main part in the used state.
[0014]
The magnetic tape cartridge 1 is a cartridge case in which a magnetic tape (not shown) is wound around a single reel 2, and an upper case 31 and a lower case 32 provided with an opening 32a at the center are fastened by screws or the like. 3, the reel 2 is accommodated in a rotatable manner. The magnetic tape cartridge 1 is provided with reel rotation restraining means 10 that allows the reel 2 to rotate when in use and restrains the rotation of the reel 2 when not in use.
[0015]
The reel 2 has a bottomed cylindrical reel hub 21 on which a magnetic tape is wound on the outer periphery, and a lower flange portion 22 and an upper flange portion 23 that project from the outer periphery of the upper and lower ends of the reel hub 21 in a disk shape in the radial direction. The reel hub 21 and the lower flange portion 22 are integrally formed of synthetic resin, and are joined to the upper flange portion 23 by, for example, ultrasonic welding. The lower part of the reel hub 21 is closed at the center by a bottom wall 21a, and a reel gear 24 for rotationally driving the reel 2 is formed in an annular shape on the outer periphery of the lower surface of the bottom wall 21a. A reel plate 25 made of an annular metal plate for suction is attached. The reel gear 24 and the reel plate 25 of the reel 2 are arranged so as to face the opening 32 a on the bottom surface of the cartridge case 3. The reel 2 is biased downward by a biasing member 5 described later.
[0016]
Further, the drive side rotation drive means 11 includes an annular drive gear 13 and a magnet (not shown) on the upper end surface of the rotary shaft 12, and the chucking operation thereof is a magnetic loaded in a drive side bucket (not shown). And a release member 6 that moves in the release direction.
[0018]
In the bottom wall 21a of the reel 2, three insertion holes 26 penetrating the reel gear 24 in the vertical direction are arranged at equal intervals on the circumference, and further, the insertion is made on the upper surface of the bottom wall 21a. Three sets of six locking projections 27 are erected at equal intervals on the circumference at different phase positions from the hole 26, and the distal ends of the locking projections 27 are formed in a gear tooth shape. Note that three or three or more insertion holes 26 and locking projections 27 may be disposed, and the distal end portion of the locking projection 27 may have a single gear tooth shape. The reel 2 shown in FIG. 2 is shown in a state where only the bottom wall 21a is cut away.
[0019]
The restraining member 4 has a disc portion 41 disposed in the reel hub 21 of the reel 2 so as to oppose the bottom wall 21a, and a discrepancy gear 42 is engraved on the outer periphery of the lower surface of the disc portion 41 in an annular shape. The tip end of the locking projection 27 can be engaged with the stopping gear 42. Further, the center portion of the lower surface of the disk portion 41 is formed in a convex shape so as to contact the center portion of the upper surface of a plate-like base portion 61 of the release member 6 described later.
[0020]
Further, a projection 44 is formed on the upper surface of the disk portion 41 of the restraining member 4 so as to extend upward. The projection 44 is provided with a cross-shaped locking groove 45 extending in the vertical direction. On the other hand, an anti-rotation projection 33 inserted into the locking groove 45 is erected on the inner surface of the upper case 31 of the cartridge case 3. And the engagement of the locking groove 45 and the rotation prevention protrusion 33 is installed so that the restraining member 4 can move up and down without rotating. The locking groove 45 may be provided in a single character.
[0021]

A cylindrical push-up portion 63 is provided. Each push-up portion 63 is inserted into an insertion hole 26 opened in the bottom wall 21a of the reel 2 so as to be movable in and out, and its tip is located facing a tooth portion of the reel gear 24 on the lower surface of the reel 2. At that time, the locking projection 27 is positioned outside the plate-like base 61 between the push-up portions 63. The push-up portion 63 may be formed in a prismatic shape, an elliptical column shape, or the like.
[0023]
At the lowest lowered position of the release member 6 (FIG. 1), the lower end surface of the push-up portion 63 is substantially the tooth tip position of the reel gear 24, and the drive gear 13 is engaged with the reel gear 24 by the chucking operation of the drive side rotational drive means 11. Accordingly, the release member 6 is pressed and pushed up by a predetermined stroke amount (FIG. 3). Further, the release member 6 rotates integrally with the reel 2 by fitting the push-up portion 63 into the insertion hole 26. Further, the restraining member 4 is biased by the biasing member 5 so that the tip of the convex portion at the center of the lower surface thereof comes into contact with the upper surface of the release member 6. Sliding contact.
[0024]
It should be noted that at least one of the restraining member 4 and the release member 6 is made of a lubricant such as molybdenum disulfide, polytetrafluoroethylene, graphite (graphite), potassium titanate whisker, silicone (various grades of dimethylpolysiloxane and modified products thereof). It may be molded with a synthetic resin containing, thereby improving its slipperiness. In addition to the above lubricants, oleic acid amide lubricants, erucic acid amide based lubricants, stearic acid amide based lubricants, bis fatty acid amide based lubricants, nonionic surfactant based lubricants, hydrocarbon based lubricants, fatty acid based lubricants, ester based lubricants Further, a lubricant such as an alcohol-based lubricant or metal soap may be added. Furthermore, as synthetic resins, aliphatic polyamides such as PC (polycarbonate), P0M (polyoxymethylene), glass fiber-containing ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), PPS, nylon 6 or nylon 66, aromatic polyamide, ultrahigh molecular weight It is preferable to use a resin excellent in abrasion resistance having an imide group such as polyethylene, isotactic polypropylene, syndiotactic polystyrene, polyimide, polyamideimide or polyetherimide. As a result, the friction and wear of both sliding contact portions are reduced, and the reel 2 can be stably rotated by reducing the driving resistance, and the generation of wear powder is suppressed to ensure the reliability of the recording / reproducing performance. be able to.
[0025]
The reel 2 is provided with a guide member 28 for guiding a part of the release member 6 in the insertion direction when the push-up portion 63 of the release member 6 is inserted into the insertion hole 26. As shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the guide member 28 is formed on the inner wall of the reel hub 21 of the reel 2 in the vicinity of the insertion hole 26 formed through the reel gear 24 and has a substantially triangular plate-like base portion. It is formed of two guide ribs extending in the vertical direction (insertion direction of the push-up portion 63) for guiding both corners of each apex 61.
[0026]
The height H (see FIG. 6) of the guide member 28 (guide rib) is such that the lower end portion of the push-up portion 63 reaches the upper opening end of the insertion hole 26 when the push-up portion 63 is inserted from above the insertion hole 26. It is formed larger than the height h of the push-up portion 63 so as to guide the plate-like base portion 63 before. Further, the peripheral edge of the upper end opening of the insertion hole 26 is formed in a tapered surface 26a and is provided so as to guide the tip of the push-up portion 63.
[0027]
After the positions of the tops of the plate-like base 61 are positioned by the guide member 28 so that the push-up parts 63 of the release member 6 are located above the insertion holes 26, the release member 6 is released from being held and dropped. Then, the push-up portion 63 moves in the insertion direction and is inserted into the insertion hole 26 by the guide in the insertion direction of the guide member 28, and the release member 6 is assembled to the reel 2.
[0028]
The magnetic tape cartridge 1 is assembled by placing the lower case 32 upward, placing the reel 2 thereon, and then assembling the release member 6 while guiding it with the guide member 28 described above. 4. After the urging member 5 is placed, the upper case 31 is placed, and then the screw is fastened from the lower case 32 side upside down to complete the assembly.
[0029]
The operation of the reel rotation restraining means 10 will be described. FIG. 1 shows a state in which the magnetic tape cartridge 1 is not used, such as a storage state. In this state, the restraining member 4 and the release member 6 are urged by the urging force of the urging member 5. The reel 2 has moved to the lower case 32 side of the cartridge case 3, and the opening 32 a at the center of the lower case 32 is closed by the reel 2. The release member 6 is in the lowest lowered state in which the lower surface is in contact with the upper surface of the bottom wall 21a of the reel hub 21. The restraining member 4 that is in contact with the upper surface is also in the lowered position, and the leading end portion of the latching protrusion 27 of the reel 2 is engaged with the restraining gear 42 to restrain the rotation of the reel 2 when not in use. To prevent withdrawal.
[0030]
On the other hand, when the cartridge of FIG. 3 in which the magnetic tape cartridge 1 is loaded in the drive is used, the rotation shaft 12 of the drive side rotation drive means 11 approaches the bottom surface of the reel 2, and the drive gear 13 is moved to the reel gear 24 by the chucking operation. When the reel 2 is moved slightly upward and held, the tooth tip of the drive gear 13 comes into contact with the tip of the push-up portion 63 of the release member 6 and pushes it up. Accordingly, the release member 6 moves upward against the urging force of the urging member 5, and the stop member 4 also moves in the upward release direction together with the release member 6. As a result, the engagement between the stopping gear 42 and the locking projection 27 is released, and the reel 2 is rotatable. Then, the magnetic tape is pulled out or taken up by the drive of the recording / reproducing apparatus.
[0031]
In the above embodiment, the guide member 28 is formed on the inner wall of the reel hub 21, but the arrangement position is not limited to this, and a part of the release member 6 is pushed up at a position where it does not interfere with the restraining member 4. You may make it project the guide member 28 in the bottom wall 21a of the reel 2 so that it may guide in the insertion direction of the part 63. FIG. Further, the insertion hole 26 may be provided on the inner peripheral side from the reel gear 24.
