本発明は通帳類取り扱い装置または単票、カード紙幣等を取り扱う装置に関する。更に詳しく言えば、利用者が通帳、カード、単票、紙幣等を用いて現金の取引きを行う現金自動預金装置、現金自動預金支払い装置、或いは預金データを通帳又は単票等に自動的に印字する自動記帳機等の自動処理装置全般に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来技術における公知の媒体搬送処理装置のインサータ部を図1に示す。従来技術においては、取扱い媒体1の幅W1に対して挿入口2のガイド幅W2はW1+0.5〜1mm程度にするのが一般的である。その理由はインサータ部は利用者が直接操作する部分のため、挿入口1のガイド幅W2をむやみに大きくするとセット位置により挿入媒体の位置が定まらず印字障害を誘発したり、セット時スキューセットしジャム障害を誘発し易くなるためである。

従って、この様な従来構造の挿入口2にガイド幅W2よりもαmm大きい規格外媒体3を無理矢理に強制挿入した場合、図2に記載の通り媒体3がインサータ内部で再び広がるため挿入口2のガイド幅W2に突き当りジャム障害となり、装置ダウンとなる欠点がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明の目的は、上記従来技術の問題点解決にあり、ジャム原因のひとつである規格外媒体の挿入が行われた場合にもジャムの未然防止を図り装置のノーダウン化ができる媒体のガイド機構を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は規格外の媒体3が強制挿入された場合、挿入口2の内部でガイド幅W2よりも広がった媒体3の部分が挿入口1の両サイドに配設した一方向回動ゲートを押しのけて排出できる構造とすることによりジャムの未然防止を図り装置のノーダウン化を図った。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照して本発明の実施例について詳細に説明する。

図3は本発明による媒体のガイド機構である。挿入口4のガイド幅W2は図1で説明した様に取扱い媒体1の幅W1よりも0.5〜1mm大き目に設定されている。

本発明において、特徴的なことはガイド幅W2の両サイドに所定幅S1のスロープ5を有し、そのスロープ5の上部には支持ピン6を中心に所定角度回動するゲート7がはめ込まれていることである。

図4は回動ゲート7の機能を説明するための側面図を示す。前述した様に回動ゲート7は支持ピン6で支持されピン6を中心に矢印f1方向には所定量回動できるが(図4(a)参照)回動ゲートの先端P1が挿入口4のスロープ5に自重で接しているため矢印f2方向からの外力に対してはそれ以上回動しない構造となっている。(図4(b)参照)
この様な構成から成る本発明の媒体ガイド機構の実動作及び機能について説明する。

図2で説明した挿入口幅W2よりもαだけ大きい寸法の媒体3が強制挿入され、その後排出しようとした場合、媒体3の幅W2+α>W2の関係からQ1又はQ2が挿入口2に追突し、ジャムとなった。

本発明においては図5(a)に記載の様に媒体3が強制挿入され、その後排出動作がかかった場合、Q1及びQ2寸法部はスロープ5を登りながら排出され、図5(b)に記載の様にゲート7に追突するとゲート7は支持ピン6を中心に矢印f1方向に押し上げられスロープ5とガイド7の先端P1には隙間S2が設けられるためこの隙間を通って媒体3のQ1,Q2部は容易に通過できるためジャムとなることはない。

以上の様に、本発明によれば規格外媒体の強制挿入に対しても媒体のジャムを未然防止させ装置のノーダウン化を防止できる効果がある。
