本発明は、浄水器及び浄水器シャワ−に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
水道水中の塩素は、飲料水として臭い除去や殺菌のために水道法に従い浄水場で添加されている。しかしながら、塩素はたんぱく質を破壊する作用も知られており、そのため、使用前に水道水中に含まれる残留塩素を取り除くために、浄水器が発明された。水道水の原水である河川や地下水の汚染が著しくなってきた近年、環境や健康の意識が高まる中、当初の塩素を取り除くことばかりでなく、浄水器に求められることも変化して来た。例えば、さらに強力な殺菌作用が求められたりするのは言うまでもなく、かつ、おいしい水、健康に良い水が求められてきている。さらには、健康や癒しを手近に得るために、薬剤徐放、温泉効果や芳香のある浄水シャワ−まで求められて来ているものである。

ところで、従来より、この種の浄水器、及び浄水器シャワ−としては、給水口と取水口とを備えた所要形状の浄水器本体内にフィルタ−カ−トリッジが着脱自在に内設されると共に、該フィルタ−カ−トリッジは給取水口を備えた略容器状ハウジング内に所要のフィルタ−を充填せしめた基本構成よりなるものが知られている。
そして、上記カ−トリッジの一例として、特開平11−267635号公報(特許文献1)には、給取水口を備えた略容器状ハウジング内に金属繊維と不織布内に封入された亜硫酸カルシウムとからなる浄水処理用フィルタ−と、トルマリンを含む水質調整用フィルタ−とが充填されたものが提案されている。また、特開2002−239539号公報(特許文献2)には、給取水口を備えたハウジングが外側ケ−スと内側ケ−スとより構成され、該内外側ケ−ス間には活性炭が充填されると共に、内側ケ−スの一端側には不織布が、内側ケ−ス内には中空糸膜が各々充填されたものが提案されている。さらに、特開2002−301311号公報(特許文献3)には、給取水口を備えたハウジング内に内部流路を備えた円柱状フィルタ−が内設されると共に、該フィルタ−はその一端部より他端部に向けて初期濾過抵抗を小さくせしめたものが提案されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述の如く構成された従来例は、脱塩素・脱臭・除塵・抗菌効果や濾過抵抗を低減せしめる等の効果を有する反面、給取水口を有する容器状ハウジング内に所要のフィルタ−を充填せしめるものであるから、カ−トリッジを交換するさいにはカ−トリッジハウジング材を廃棄しなければならず、地球環境の面から問題があるものである。また、構造が複雑化し、製作が非常に面倒で手間がかかるのみならず、全体としてコスト高となり、しかも、必然的にフィルタ−の種類や数、充填量が制約されて濾過面積を大にすることが出来ないものである。このため、フィルタ−の寿命が短いのみならず、水道から給水される水は浄水器及び浄水器シャワ−内で大きな濾過抵抗を生起せしめ、スム−ズな浄水処理が阻害されやすいものである。

本発明は従来の問題点を解決し、浄水器本体内にハウジングを介することなく所要のフィルタ−を直接的に内設せしめ、その濾過面積を大にして寿命を著しくアップせしめることが出来るのみならず、浄水器及び浄水器シャワ−内における給水の濾過抵抗を低減せしめて常にスム−ズな浄水処理を効率よく行うことが出来、しかも、全体として安価に製作することが出来る地球環境にやさしい浄水器及び浄水器シャワ−を提供しようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記の目的を達成するため、請求項1記載の発明は、給水口と取水口とを備えた浄水器本体内周面に沿って粗目状の外筒状フィルタ−と密目状の内筒状フィルタ−とが2層状に直接的に内設され、浄水器本体内には該内筒状フィルタ−を介して給水用流水路が区画形成され、該給水用流水路を通して給水口より給水せしめると共に、外筒状フィルタ−を通して取水口より取水せしめるべく構成されてなることを特徴とする、浄水器を要旨とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下に、本発明の実施の形態を図面に示す一実施例に基づいて説明する。
図1は本発明の第1実施例を示す垂直断面図で、同図中、1aは浄水器、2は該浄水器1aを構成する所要の径と高さを備えた有底円筒状の浄水器本体、3は該浄水器本体2の底壁中心に形成された給水口、4は浄水器本体2の上端部に締付けナット5を介して水密状に開閉自在に取付けられた蓋体、6は給水口3に対応すべく該蓋体4の中心に形成された取水口である。7・8は前記浄水器本体2内周面に沿ってに着脱自在に直接的に内設された粗目状の外筒状フィルタ−と密目状の内筒状フィルタ−で、該内外筒状フィルタ−8・7はプラスチック製パンチング材等よりなる保形部材9を介して内外2層状に保形化されると共に、外筒状フィルタ−7の材質としては濾過機能と共に取水流路としての機能を併有せしめるべく粗粒状の濾過材10が、内筒状フィルタ−8の材質としては微粒状の濾過材11が各々用いられている。そして、上記外筒状フィルタ−7の寸法は、外径90mm,内径70mmに、また、内筒状フィルタ−8の寸法は外径70mm、内径30mm、長さ150mmに設定せしめ、濾過面積に比して濾過流路長を短くすることによりその比ηを

なお、上記外筒状フィルタ−7を構成する濾過材10としては、麦飯石、化石サンゴ、石灰石、輝石、珪灰石、アルミナ、セラミックや磁石など種々のミネラルを徐放する鉱物や焼結体が用いられるが、本実施例では、良質の粘土と竹炭粉末を焼成した竹炭セラミック粒(藤岡社製)20gと二股温泉にふくまれる石灰華を焼成した二股温泉セラミック(セイコ−エンタ−プライズ社製)55gとを混合せしめた濾過材を用いている。竹炭セラミックは、竹炭40重量部、珪藻土20重量部、ベントナイト30重量部、フリット10重量部から成る。二股温泉セラミックは、石灰華40重量部、貴宝石30重量部、SPライト30重量部から成る。竹炭セラミック及び二股温泉セラミックの組成、及び竹炭セラミック及び二股温泉セラミックの混合比は本実施例に制限されるものではない。竹炭セラミックは、竹炭から溶出するカリウム及びカリウムイオンは気持ちを落ち着かせるリラックス効果が期待されることが知られている。また、二股温泉セラミックは、石灰華の主成分である炭酸成分により疲労回復、種々の病気に対する治癒効果が期待されていることが知られている。なお、外筒状フィルタ−7は、微量なミネラルやイオン効果が知られているものであれば通常に用いられる公知のものを用いることが出来、特に制限されるものではない。但し、外筒状フィルタ−7に用いられる濾過材料は、食品添加物などの安全性が保証されたものが好ましいことは言うまでもない。

また、上記内筒状フィルタ−8を構成する濾過材11としては、活性炭、亜硫酸カルシウムなどが挙げられる。活性炭は、粒状炭、成形炭、繊維状活性炭などの形態、ヤシ殻活性炭、木炭、ピッチ系活性炭、石油コ−クス系活性炭などの原料、及び抗菌剤、銀など添着処理したものが使われる。また、亜硫酸カルシウムは、粉状、粒状体、成形体など特に制限されるものではない。本実施例では、活性炭にトルマリン添着処理がされたもの(サンテクニクス社製)を用いる。トルマリンは電気石とも呼ばれる珪硼酸塩鉱物であり、その分極性が強く、そのため水や水中の含有物を活性化させる作用を有することが知られている。活性炭とトルマリンとの相乗効果によって、残留塩素やその他の臭気成分、有機物を除去する効果を有し、かつ水を活性化させる効果まで期待されるものである。内筒状フィルタ−8の濾過材11は残留塩素やその他の臭気成分、有機物を除去、殺菌作用のあるものであれば通常に用いられる公知のものを用いることが出来、特に制限されるものではない。

上述の如く構成された第1実施例は、図1に矢印で示すように、水道水を給水口3より浄水器本体2内の給水用流水路13に導入せしめる。そして、順次内外筒状フィルタ−8・7に浸透せしめて濾過し、浄水を取水口6より取水せしめる。このさい、外筒状フィルタ−7は粗粒状の濾過材10により形成されているから、濾過機能のみならず取水流路としての機能を有効に発揮し、浄水効率をアップせしめることが出来るものである。また、内外筒状フィルタ−8・7は浄水器本体2内に直接的に内設せしめられているから、フィルタ−の種類や数、またその充填量を大にせしめることが出来るものであって、ひいては、濾過面積を大にして寿命を著しくアップせしめることが出来るのみならず、浄水器本体2における給水の濾過抵抗を低減せしめ、常にスム−ズな浄水処理を効率よく行うことが出来るものである。
そして、内外筒状フィルタ−8・7が所定の寿命に達した時点で蓋体4を浄水器本体2より外して取出し、交換せしめるとよい。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば以上の次第で、カ−トリッジハウジングを必要としない浄水器及び浄水器シャワ−であるから、フィルタ−交換時には従来例のようにカ−トリッジハウジング材を廃棄することがなく、地球環境に好ましいものである。また、浄水器本体内におけるフィルタ−の種類や数、充填量を大にせしめることが出来るものであって、ひいては、濾過面積を大にして濾過寿命をアップせしめることが出来るのみならず、浄水器本体内における給水の濾過抵抗を低減せしめ、常にスム−ズな浄水処理を効率よく行うことが出来るものである。さらに、フィルタ−は浄水器本体内周面に沿って直接内設せしめるものであるから、従来例に比して構造が簡単であり、その製作を容易に、しかも、安価に行うことが出来るものである。
