【0010】
Real(t) = a ・cos( ωf ・t) + b ・cos(-ωr ・t)
Imag(t) = a ・sin( ωf ・t) + b ・sin(-ωr ・t) …(1)
このHf(Z)に対し、複素の逆FFTを行ない、これにより複素の時間領域信号CFowreal(t) ,CFowimag(t) を得る。
このHr(Z)に対し、複素の逆FFTを行ない、これにより複素の時間領域信号CRevreal(t) ,CRevimag(t) を得る。

[0013]
By the way, there is an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus described in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-198542, which is filed by the same applicant as the present invention. This apparatus reproduces Doppler sound when reproducing an FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) image of blood flow Doppler. This device has the following drawbacks. That is, since the FFT sample rate is in units of pulse rate repetition frequency (PRF), there is a drawback that it is difficult to match the tone live when the Doppler sound is synthesized. Further, since the configuration is such that sound is generated after the Fourier transform process and the power calculation process are completed, there is a drawback that the responsiveness is poor from the viewpoint of processing time.

A complex Hf (Z) loop and a complex Hr (Z) loop are represented by the following equations (7) and (8).
[0025]
[Expression 2]
[0026]
According to the present embodiment, the direction separation performance as shown by the characteristic curve A in FIG. 7 is obtained. This shows a sufficient separation performance in a required band as compared with the characteristic curve B of the conventional example shown in FIG.
[0027]
FIG. 8 shows a zero shift on the spectrum display. In the display example on the left side of FIG. 8, a part of the spectrum is folded from the upper part of the screen to the lower part of the screen, thereby forming a discontinuous waveform. In this case, as shown in the display example on the right side of FIG. 8 according to the zero shift amount calculated by the zero
[0028]
As described above, according to the first embodiment, since the direction separation circuit 9 is configured using the complex digital filter composed of the complex IIR filter, sufficient separation performance and response time performance can be obtained regardless of the band. In addition, the circuit configuration can be made relatively small. Moreover, complicated adjustments such as analog circuits are unnecessary. Furthermore, since the audio zero shift corresponding to the spectrum display of the blood flow Doppler image is realized, a highly accurate blood flow Doppler sound can be obtained.
[0029]
(Second Embodiment)
The second embodiment relates to a modification of the first embodiment. That is, the direction separation circuit 9 of the first embodiment is configured using a complex digital filter composed of a complex IIR filter, whereas the direction separation circuit 9 of the second embodiment is a general FIR (recursive) filter. It is comprised using the following complex digital filter. Components other than the direction separation circuit 9 are the same as those in the first embodiment.
[0030]
FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram showing the principle of direction separation by the complex FIR filter of the ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus according to the second embodiment of the present invention. In FIG. 9, ω S is the sampling angular frequency of the complex digital filter.
[0031]
Hf (Z) represents the filter characteristic of the first frequency region (0 to ω S / 2 ), that is, the forward signal. A complex inverse FFT is performed on this Hf (Z) to obtain complex time domain signals CFowreal (t) and CFowimag (t). Note that the inverse Fourier transform of the function having the passband of the
[0032]
[Equation 3]
[0033]
After the above transformation, the complex time domain signals CFowreal (t) and CFowimag (t) are respectively multiplied by the window function W (t), and the complex coefficients in the discrete time domain related to the forward signal as shown in the following equation (10). Get the sequences CFreal (τ) and CFimag (τ). As the window function W (t), one that drops the side rope of the spectrum, such as Hamming or Blackman, is used.
[0034]
[Expression 4]
[0035]
Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 10, assuming a second frequency region (−ω S / 2 ˜0), that is, a backward signal filter, the inverse FFT is performed and the window function is performed in the same manner as the forward signal. To obtain a complex coefficient sequence in the discrete time domain related to the backward signal. In FIG. 10, the complex time domain signal and the discrete time domain complex coefficient sequence illustrated in FIG. 9 are omitted.
[0036]
First, Hr (Z) indicates the filter characteristic of the second frequency region (−ω S / 2 to 0), that is, the backward signal. A complex inverse FFT is performed on this Hr (Z), thereby obtaining complex time domain signals CRevreal (t) and CRevimag (t).
The inverse Fourier transform of the function having the passband of the frequency domain −
[0037]
[Equation 5]
[0038]
After the above transformation, the complex time domain signals CRevreal (t) and CRevimag (t) are respectively multiplied by the window function W (t), and the complex coefficients in the discrete time domain for the backward signal as shown in the following equation (12) The sequences CRreal (τ) and CRimag (τ) are obtained. As the window function W (t), one that drops the side rope of the spectrum, such as Hamming or Blackman, is used.
[0039]
[Formula 6]
[0040]
Thus, a discrete time domain complex coefficient sequence is obtained for each of the forward signal band and the reverse signal band.
FIG. 11 is a block diagram showing an algorithm configuration of a complex FIR filter according to a specific example of the direction separation principle. This complex FIR filter constitutes a convolution filter that realizes a complex convolution (convolution integration) on the time axis with respect to the complex coefficient example in the discrete time domain obtained as described above. Note that the number of taps of this filter is n.
[0041]
The following equations (13) and (14) are calculation formulas of the above algorithm. According to the following equation (13), a forward signal Forward (t) is obtained. Further, according to the following equation (14), a reverse signal Reverse (t) is obtained.
[0042]
[Expression 7]
[0043]
By the way, a 4-term convolution operation composed of each of the complex coefficient sequences of the forward signal and each of the complex coefficient sequences of the backward signal requires a large amount of calculation. For this reason, in this embodiment, the convolution calculation is performed only on the real part channel component of the forward signal and the real part channel component of the reverse signal.
[0044]
As described above, according to the second embodiment, since the direction separation circuit 9 is configured by a complex digital filter composed of an FIR filter, as in the first embodiment, sufficient separation performance and In addition to obtaining response time performance, the circuit configuration can be made relatively small. Moreover, complicated adjustments such as analog circuits are unnecessary. Furthermore, since the audio zero shift corresponding to the spectrum display of the blood flow Doppler image is realized, a highly accurate blood flow Doppler sound can be obtained.
[0045]
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be implemented with various modifications. For example, in the first and second embodiments, the case where the direction separation circuit is configured by using an IIR filter and an FIR filter has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to these and can be realized by other digital filters. is there.
[0046]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, it is possible to provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus having a small circuit configuration in addition to obtaining sufficient direction separation performance and response time performance in the generation of ultrasonic Doppler sound.
