本発明は製パン工場で、焼き工程前にパン生地の表面に卵液を自動的に塗付する自動塗付装置に関するものである。

【従来技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】
製パンにおいて、製出するパンの表面に照りを出すために、焼き工程の前にパン生地の表面に卵液を塗付している。この塗付作業は、人の手による卵液の刷毛塗りで実施されていた。然しこのような手作業では、製造効率の改善や品質の均一化等は望めない。

また機械化を考慮した際には、刷毛塗りの機械化では種々の問題が生ずる。即ちカップ(焼き型)に生地を収納した製品の場合、刷毛がカップの外周に当たると、卵液は当該カップ外縁で擦り取られることになり、卵液の無駄が多くなり而もカップ内の生地の表面には適切な塗付がなされない。また生地表面に凹凸面が存在する製品の場合には、刷毛塗りでは均等な塗付ができないという問題もある。

そこで本発明は、パン生地への卵液塗付を自動的に行う装置を提案したものである。

【課題を解決する手段】
本発明に係る卵液自動塗付装置は、卵液塗付対象生地を載置した天板を搬送する搬送コンベア部と、搬送途中に設けて前記天板の位置を検出するセンサ部と、冷却機構又は保冷機構を備えた卵液タンクと、前記卵液タンクから卵液が供給され、搬送される天板に向かって卵液を噴霧すると共に、前記噴霧作動が前記センサ部からの信号で制御されるスプレー部とを備えてなることを特徴とするものである。

而して搬送される天板上のパン生地に対して、天板が所定位置まで搬送されてくるとセンサ部が感知し、天板内に向かって卵液を噴霧させる。これによって天板上に載置したパン生地の表面に卵液が均一に付着することになり、卵液塗付作業が自動的に行われる。

また本発明装置は、更にスプレー部の周囲を囲繞するカバー部と、カバー部に連結した吸出管と、吸出管に接続した排気ブロワーとを備えた排出機構部を付設してなるものである。

従ってスプレー噴霧された卵液のうち、天板やパン生地に付着せずに浮遊している卵液は、拡散することなくカバー部内で滞留するので、これを吸引することで、卵液霧の工場内への拡散が防止され、工場内が衛生的に維持される。

次に本発明の実施の形態について説明する。実施形態に示した塗付装置は、搬送機構部1と、センサ部2と、所定機構を組み込むための噴霧機体3と、卵液タンク部4と、スプレー部5と、排出機構部6とで構成される。

搬送機構部1は、搬送コンベアとその駆動機構(図示せず)で構成され、コンベアは一般的に製パン工業で使用されている天板Aの搬送に適した大きさとするものである。またセンサ部2は、天板Aが搬送コンベア1の所定位置に達したことを検出するもので、近接スイッチその他適宜な構造のものを採用する。

噴霧機体3は、コンベア1の側方からコンベア1に近接でき、搬送コンベア1に側方に位置できる支持部31と、支持部上部に設けられコンベア上方に位置する担持部32と、支持部下部に設けられ、底面にキャスターを付設した脚台部33を備えてなる。尚脚台部33の上面で、コンベア1の下方に位置する箇所に受け皿34を設けてなる。

前記の噴霧機体3の担持部32に卵液タンク部4及びスプレー部5を組み込むもので、卵液タンク部4は、ジャケット構造タンクとし、ジャケット部分に冷水を供給して卵液が固まったり腐敗することがないように低温に維持する。尚冷水に替えて他の冷却機構を採用してよいことは云うまでもない。

スプレー部5は、市販の自動スプレーガン51をコンベア1の上方に適宜数配置し、卵液タンク4からの卵液供給管52と、コンプレッサー(図示せず:機体3に組み込んでも良いし、別置しても良い)からの弁開閉用空気管53と、噴霧用空気管54を各々接続してなる。

排出機構部6は、カバー部61と、排気ブロワー62と、カバー部61と前記排気ブロワー62とを連結接続する吸出管63とで構成される。

そして前記カバー部61は前記機体3に組み込むもので、担持部32に担持させたスプレー部5の周囲並びに上面を囲むように設けたものである。

従ってスプレー噴霧された卵液Cは、天板Aやパン生地Bに付着したり、受け皿34に落下滞留したもの以外は、排出機構部6によって吸引され、工場内への霧状卵液の拡散が防止されることになる。

尚本発明は前記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、低温維持した卵液を搬送されるパン生地に噴霧するものであれば、搬送機構や噴霧機構は前記実施形態と異なる機構構造のものを採用しても良い。

以上のように本発明は、パン生地を載置した天板を搬送する搬送コンベア部と、天板が所定位置に達したことを検知するセンサ部と、卵液タンクと、卵液を噴霧するスプレー部とを備えてなる卵液自動塗付装置で、手作業の卵液塗付の自動機械化を実現して、製パン工業の生産効率向上に寄与するものである。
