この発明の一実施例を図1および図2により説明する。すなわち、この昇降式照明器具は、昇降装置1と、照明器具2と、巻取装置3とを有する。
昇降装置1は、モータ(図示せず)に接続されたドラム4と、ドラム4から繰り出した一対のワイヤ5,6の方向を転換するプーリー7,8とを有する。したがって、モータの一方向の回転によりドラム4はワイヤ5,6を繰り出し、モータの他方向の回転によりドラム4はワイヤ5,6を巻取る。
