前記ベルマウス2の内縁部2bを風洞部1の空気吸込側内縁部へ深く差し込み連結しているため、該連結部において内縁部2bの端面と風洞部1の内周面の間に段差を生じ、内縁部2bで風洞部1の内径が小さくなり断面積が減少し風量のロスがあり、また吸い込んだ気流が段差部で渦巻き流となり、気流がスムーズに流れるのを阻害されると共に騒音を発する。 そこで、本発明に係るベルマウスは連結部に創意工夫をこらし、風量損失と乱気流(渦巻き流)を低減して送風性能及び静粛性能を向上させることを目的とする。
